Intelligent particle filter

I am trying to solve a task, where I need to exclude the blobs in the binary image, based on the size of the blob.
changes in size threshold with the position of the BLOB.
Given that this is not feasible through the standard particle filter, I made mask of results.
The algorithm is not fast enough + it keeps bad BLOBs if boxes later bounding ride.
Please suggest another method.

Dear Bublina!
If the masking of the rectangles now does not work, you can always try another suggestion: labelling of particles and their filtering by label. Here's the basic idea:
Analysis of the particle returns the particles in the same logical order (first pixel scanned from top to bottom, left to right) as IMAQ Label. For each particle that is returned, you can set whether to keep or discard, then according to this decision, you create an integer (respectively 1 or 0) and load the table created from these integers in a Lookup Table defined by the user.
For me, this approach has worked well enough.

IMAQ particle filter 3 documentation, it is said: "Type of precise measurement that the measure be in pixels not calibrated or calibrated to actual values." It's a Boolean input value, but it is not clear to me who is associated with "true", and which is associated with "false".

Looks like you want to use the filter particles and analysis of the particles the steps in the wizard of Vision. Vision Assistant is part of the Vision Development Module (VDM). The steps I listed are found in processing functions: binary Vision Assistant section. The particle filter can remove small particles which are not of interest. The analysis of the particle can give you counts and measures of interest. There are other steps in the same section, which can also be useful for your application.

Selection of the correct workstation problems

The project consists of a scanner with a device of scanning line of 4096 pixels, operating at a frequency of acquisition of 40 kHz, for which we bought, among other products, a framegraber of the NI PCIe-1433. Inspecting web speed is 10 m / s and the width is 0.9 m.
The main task of the scanner is analysis of the particles and find the dimensions and coordinates of the particles based. The first step will be the binarization, same binary morphology, particle filter and analysis of the particle. If all goes well, we will try to find other types of defects requiring filtering even.
We will develop our application using loops in parallel as well as parallelize all possible tasks, can also be we, we will need to use the pipeline for the tasks of the series, too.
For this application, we decided to use a workstation Dell Precision, but I m in trouble, deciding to work wright station
Mainly, the doubt is the processor is best for these applications. Workstations Dell Precision comes with Intel I3, I5 (dual-core), I7 (up to 4 cores) and Xeon (5600 up to 6 cores). I don't know which one is better and the number of cores will be necessary. I guess that's better hearts less run fast, many cores to work more slowly, I'm wright?
The operating system we intend to use it s Win 7 64 bit.
Also how much RAM you suggest?

Creating animation of river with speed controller
As part of a demo, I need to build the animation of a river with possibility to change the speed of the current, based on the specified user setting - am quite new to Illustrator.
One thought was to have two layers-Layer 1 that forms the basis and Layer 2 with a high alpha that would move to the top of the layer 1 - am still homesick on how to build this point regarding gradients and undulations. Is there a tuorial / sample I could watch

Much depends on the specific work style and point of view, that you have in mind. It is the nature of the questions «how to draw a...» ', including those for the animations. For example, the approach I would use would probably depend on if the scene is a birds-eye-view from a distance, or a profile view of the Bank of the river.
In general, "tap you water" by drawing reflections and highlights.
I don't use FlashBuilder. But if I used Flash to build this, I would:
Draw illustrations for one or several in sweetness-looping movieClip symbols, resembling the pulsation of the highlights water around a rock, log, or other obstacle. These bodies remain in position on the scene, but their length, scale, opacity, and pulse rate is scripted to respond interactively to a user intervention. Highlights longer, larger, more opaque, more rapid - momentum suggest faster water.
For example, I have a project in which the leaves fall at random in a scene. When they arrive, their speed of rotation, flop and the direction of fall is controlled interactively by the movement of the mouse of the user, that changes the value of a variable "wind" that rely on these behaviors.
AND / OR
Attract the work of one or more symbols of movieClip public static-like ripple highights and/or floating objects. Use ActionScript to generate the symbol instances to span the view when loading. Instances are scripted to move to the 'end' of the view, be deleted when they reach the end of the view and created at the beginning of the view. The speed of movement is controlled interactively by the user intervention.
For example, I have an ongoing project that involves a bird's eye view of a chassis of vehicle traveling along a road. The chassis is static, but the wheels seem to turn and the grain of the road "moves" under them according to the user (by pressing the brake pedal or Accelerator) input.
AND- OR
Draw a single particle, store it as a graphic symbol. Build a symbol MovieClip in which the particle is reproduced and distributed at random in the area of the MovieClip. The number and the frequency of the particles, disappearance (i. e., the density of the cloud of particles) is scripted to respond in real time to the user input.
For example, I have a simulation of a vehicle exhaust in which the particle filter is gradually becoming blocked or disabled according to a variable "temperature" which is affected by several interactive user controls.
In any case, I don't try to make the animation of a river running any kind of elaborate, multilayered work in Illustrator. Paths drawn in Illustrator for either of the above approaches would be just a few tracks very easy. All transformations (scale, movement, opacity) would be scripted or interpolated in Flash. Tweens (frame-by-frame animations) should be avoided as much as possible. The result would be a tiny file with smooth and supple movement, not the bulky and jerky stuff that usually comes to the frame-by-frame animation (which is what you will get from the AI mixes and/or layers approaches).

If you go to http://www.l4dt.com/ you will see the swf "boomer" to the right. As green sprites more out of her mouth. Both the rotating header swf and swf slow boomer. Why is this?
Sprites fine start, then as more in the screen at a shared time, everything becomes slow, but there aren't even that many sprites! Laughing out loud. You will see.

The swf file is inserted in Worpress 2.7 footer.php. My Wordpress engine has 14 plugins installed and activated (I intend to go each plugin with Wordpress code and optimize it soon). WordPress is a possible suspect for the slow?
Boomer.fla dimensions are 950 pixels in width and 625 pixels in height. I'd rather Boomer.fla only be 605 x 196 and set to noscale and 100 %x 100% in the hope of the sprites to achieve all of the user's screen, but they always cut the dimensions of the SADF.I don't see where you do anything to prepare glowparticles for gc. and you can activate their cacheAsBitmap property.

for a project I'm working on, I have to use the filter to particles 2 vi to select a range of grain size of valid domain.
the particulate filter seems to work only partially, it filters all the particles, I want it, but if later I try to view the image the image shown is completely black. the image viewer also reports the value of the pixels on the particles to 0.
If I send the image of the particle análisis report vi that it works as expected and provides details on each particle remaining.
I work with labview 7.1.1

I have solved the problem by using an image U8 source and a destination image I16. I have no idea why this works, but it does.
Fortunately, I came on it, when I wanted to add a rejectborder filter that accepts only the U8 and I tested it before I put the destination to U8.
my previous attempts to move to U8 has not worked since then with the destination as U8 doesn't seem to work (I tested it again).

In my project after comparison of model or get I the image with defects.
I defects (particles) are relevant with a thickness greater than a given value.
I have tried a few methods, particle analysis, read a few articles in this forum... But I can't find any real solution to my problem.

Is there a way to filter the particles from erosion. If the particle is still after N erosions, it is preserved. Otherwise, it is removed. The function is IMAQ RemoveParticle.

Whether the report IR filter is defined

I have an interactive report that returns a large number of lines. Is there a way to detect if the user has entered a filter? I have to be able to do this so that if they did not enter a filter then do not run the query.
I can make sure the first call of the report does not run the query, but I really need this to be more intelligent that it detects if they are entered in a filter or a search criterion that limits the number of rows as there are a several ways for the user to run the report without refreshing the page to which means that all rows are retrieved.
I know that you can use apex_util.r_filter to create a filter, but y at - it a way of knowing what is already set?
There is an urgent need for all advice would be very welcome.

After the reinstallation of greenfield, store Photoshop CC on a new machine with windows 10 (I used photoshop on w7 before cc) particle works is no longer.
It always displays the following message:

How can I get a display of a Gaussian filter in real time by painting with the brush?
I'm trying to find information on how to get a live view of the Gaussian blur by painting with the brush.
Google is not useful, nor own Adobe forum searches produce something useful.
I've seen talk about Smart filters and naming the layer as a smart object in order to activate a dynamic filter, but I can't get the display in real-time of the filter when you paint so I'm not sure if this process is helpful at all for me or not because I can't locate information specific to what I'm trying to do.
I use by way CS5, so if this option does not exist, it would be useful to know so that I'm not spinning my wheels.

You seem to talk about to see in the future. You want to see the effect of a unused Gaussian blur filter while wearing the brushstrokes on that later, you intend to use the Gaussian blur. How would this work?
I use constantly a similar workflow for shading in my illustration work. If the blur spreads too wide effect, I use Free Transform to resize. If it becomes too transparent, duplicate the layer to increase the opacity. If too thick, I reduce the opacity of the layer. I wouldn't bother using intelligent layers of the to because it would have no benefit. Is it that help at all?

If you put 2 or more intelligent filters on a single smart object layer, effects filters are "combined" in a way that makes sense. So why if you have 2 smart object layers, each with a filter, there no way to 'mix' in the same way? If Photoshop can mix the filters correctly when they are on the same layer, why is there not the possibility to do when they are on different layers? Am I missing something obvious here?
BTW, I'm interested is because I would like to have individual masks for each smart filter. I know that I can do the workaround nested object dynamic, but is rather a chore and uses a lot of memory.

I doubt it. When you use the layer level, all you have is the pixel values of the individual layers without a single layer, know each other. Filter chaining outside what smart objects offer would require a very different approach to this and then we are talking a workflow similar to applications based on compositing nodes, where each operation transformation is concatenated with the previous regarding the way in which the code is running under the hood. Not something that is going to happen any time soon in PS, I think.

I can't print after upgrade to Mac OS Sierra (error "Unable to filter")
I can't print after upgrade to MacOS Sierra, always shown "cannot filter. I use AirPrint for Epson L355. Tried to reset the printer settings, uninstall and then install the printer, always in vain 'filter '.
I think it has something to do with MacOS Sierra 10.12.1 Beta (16B2333a). Help, please!

Hi all
I have upgraded my iMac and MacBook Pro with the new macOS Sierra and did not have a lot of problems until recently. As my exams are approaching, I print on my printer, Canon E560 comments. However, recently, some pages may not be printed and printing stops. He said "stopped -"filter"failed", and I can't find a way to solve this problem. I did this experiment several times, and in early printing, it is said immediately that the filter is not on my computer, but continues to print up to a page where it stops. Have you looked for a new driver for your printer? Canon are responsible for updating the drivers for their products to ensure that they are compatible with the new operating system
