Internet not working not not despite running system restore every time start computer

Unexpectedly, the internet has stopped working.  I used the standby computer and the internet went perfectly well.  I have not downloaded from the internet (rarely if ever) and we have McAfee Anti-Virus Spyware (and it showed no virus).  The only thing that gets the job of the internet is running a SYSTEM RESTORE.  But, when I shut down and restart the computer, the internet does not work until I run another restore of the system.  Help!

Hello

1 have you set Windows to automatically install updates?

2. do you get an error message? If Yes, what is the full and exact error message?

Method 1:

Check the link and try to run the troubleshooter to check if it helps.

Method 2:

I suggest you to turn off the automatic update and restart the computer. See if you face the question:

Activate the update or disable automatic

  • SERIOUS PROBLEM! Help! Windows not working, Defender update do not update, missing system restore points...

    Someone please help! I am an intermediate user and I can't get windows update to work since December 4. I was on youtube and what you clicked on a link under a video, a Malware Removal window skipped upward and before I could do anything he disappeared since this happened, windows update does not work, (not KB972696) (error 80072efe code). I ran AVG, advanced system care and a multitude of online programs that say they will fix the problem with nothing doesn't. I tried to remove the "winhelp" virus last night by doing the hard and using regedit, but it did not help. I'll do anything to remedy. Can someone help me please. I am at a total loss about what to do next? I get a sign of malware/trojan removal of ad-aware and defender who said "onacokuhupotovun.dll_old" but he says it removed but it comes back. I get a pop-up from windows saying "a service host has stopped working and was closed" but soen can't say that. How can I return update still works once, then update of Defender and system restore points?

    I use an Intel core duo 2, E7500 2.94 ghz, 4gig of ram, Vista professional.

    Help, please!

    Hello

    Follow the steps mentioned below and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

    a. I'll get a scanner online using the link below and check if that helps eliminate malware.

    b. you can also run a scan in SafeMode with networking online, which is known to be more effective in eliminating the virus/malware.

    Step 2:

    If possible, download and install Windows Security Essentials and run a full analysis of the PC (Personal Computer) in normal mode or safe mode .

    For Windows Update problem, you can follow the methods of the link below and check if the problem persists.

  • Dell V313 does not print after system restore

    My apologies if I should have posted this elsewhere.

    I have a printer all-in-one Dell V313, using Windows 7, 64-bit. I really like the printer.

    I used the "remove IE11 update' to good use, and he continued to print well for about a month, until...

    My father ran a system restore point to solve another problem, and now I can print is no longer. DOH!

    I moved that pesky IE11 updated again, but this does not solve the problem.

    When I "Launch Dell printer at home", instead to open the main menu, a dialog box pop box, asking me if I want to open, save, or cancel the download to a temporary file named "DSX # .tmp", where # change every time.

    I opened it with notepad and this file seems to contain a rudimentary version of this main menu, but of course it is not interactive. (The home Dell printer menu is never responsible.)

    Another interesting note is that when I print something (does not seem to matter what program), the printer status area is not - what appears instead is a html file called jswdialog.html. This file is apparently empty.

    I made Java and run-time environment has been updated, just in case. I tried to remove all traces of the printer (by removing prints, queue, stop/print spooler, printer, uninstall drivers uninstall from compensation), and reinstall everything from scratch, right down to the firmware of the printer, but nothing will print when I ask him.

    Instead, it adds the work in file print, which then comes out after a reboot.

    The scanner function works of the printer itself, although this menu of the printer on the Dell home page will not start.

    Any suggestions? I must be missing something, but I don't know what. My last resort is to reinstall Windows, or reset whenever I want to print something, but I'd rather not.

    Thanks for reading,

    Matt

    Matt,

    Try these teak and see if it prints. If it's not I can guide you reinstall the printer, but printing or tasks that can be frozen in the queue will need to be removed or the problem would remain.

    When I click on the system restore, nothing happens. It is not on my Add / Remove programs. What can I do to get it back? Thank you.

    OK, so I tried EVERYTHING I know how to do, and some things I did research.

    Whenever my computer restarts itself, I get an error message saying that there is a faulty driver.

    I checked my drivers with the audit tool, nothing.

    I uninstalled all unnecessary programs I could find (nothing critical, just programs like Glary Utilities, Acrobat, Flash etc..).

    Eventually I got to a point where everything I did was to get worse, and my computer told me that Windows did not start upward.  I rebooted in safe mode and tried to do a system restore.  Cannot restore point to restore I get an error indicating that the system restore was not successful.  I tried FOUR different restore points.

    I'm at my wits end!

    I don't have my Windows XP cd, or one of the disks with the computer came.  This used to be my computer at work, but let me keep as part of my departure, so all the disks are in the old company.

    Please help :(

    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    You can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their way of doing recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
