• Network Unreachable behind the Internet sharing

  Hi guys,.

  I use an iMac as a wireless router with Internet sharing. Everything works and wireless clients (* 192.168.2) can connect to the internet via ethernet to the iMac.

• Internet sharing through wireless router.

  I am currently trying to get internet sharing work via my wireless router. I bought this wireless router from Tigerdirect. I have attached my cell phone to my laptop, but to do this, I have to use Windows XP Mode. The reason why I use Window XP Mode is that the mobile phone software does not support Windows 7. I can attach my cell phone and use the internet in XP Mode window without any problem.

  But now, I would like to share the internet through the wireless router. So that all the other laptops can connect to the router and use my cell internet phones.

  Make sure that you connected the computer to the WAN port (Internet) on the router, not to one of the router's LAN ports.

  To check that ICS is installed on the first laptop:

  1. Press the Windows key + R , type ncpa.cpl in the box and press enter .
  2. Right click on the connection to the local network.
  3. Click status > Details .
  4. It should show these values: 192.168.137.1 = IPv4 address, IPv4 mask = 255.255.255.0 subnet.

  Test Internet access on the second laptop:

  1. Click Start > all programs > Accessories > guest
  2. Type these commands.  Each of them should get four answers:

  ping 192.168.137.1
  Ping 8.8.8.8
  ping google.com

  Please report anything that does not work as I have indicated.

• Error "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service" what installation driver for Remote NDIS on Internet sharing

  I get this error message when you try to install the driver 'Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device' Microsoft allowing me to attach my cell phone.  This driver installs normally automatically whenever I attach my phone to a computer windows 7 via USB and enable tethering.  I did several times with success on other systems, as well as one currently give this error.  I tried the registry setting:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
  "PagedPoolSize" = DWORD
  "PoolUsageMaximum' = dword:0000003 c

  As suggested in another article about this error message on a XP machine without success.

  Currently expanded memory: 179 Non paged: 84

  Any help would be appreciated.

  I also had this problem for awhile now and have been unable attach despite trying your suggested corrections.

  Could you clarify what the error code 5aa means exactly? I get this error code when getting the "Insufficient resources" error when trying to install/upgrade my Motorola Network Interface driver, but the same error code appeared recently when I tried to install the latest version of my application of attachment, which gave me the same error code even if instead of "insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service." , it was in response to
  'UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices err is 5aa'.
  I could only solve this problem by installing an older version. I think to understand it this error code would better identify the source of this problem.

  To Service Pack 1, you should visit the Microsoft Windows Update Web site. You can find it in the start menu.
  You can get updates and install all available updates.

  Have you checked the event viewer? You should see that you can t turn on internet connection sharing.

  Hi Please help, my computer has been infected by a pretty nasty trojan, (MEREDROP) I managed to remove it (and all of its subsequent downloaded files), but it was very difficult. in any case since that my windows firewall does not start. I get the error code. 1075 and the msg (windows cannot start (ICS) internet connection sharing service). I tried to replace registry files, I tried the system restore, I tried to change the permissions, I tried to turn it on manually, I've updated my BITS. Ive also ensured that the dependent services are running. According to my list of component services, they are... Nothing works. I need to format the HD for this problem or is there a standalone windows firewall available for download?

  Some editions of Windows 7 (Home Premium, Home Basic edition and Starter) do not come with Group Policy Editor. Only Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate editions come with the installed Group Policy Editor.
   
  To disable the "eye" symbol, follow these steps
  a. open the run (Windows key + R) dialog box
  b. enter gpedit.msc and press enter
  c. local Group Policy editor opens:
  d. navigate to Computer Configuration, click Administrative Templates, and then click Windows components, and select credentials UI:
  e. double-click on 'Do not display the password reveal key' and select the 'Active ':
  f. the behavior is disabled, you can activate it with the same method.
