Internet stall during sleep

After upgrading to Mac OS Sierra I find internet connection stops outside when he sleeps and when the screen is triggered and a website accessed in Safari, it is impossible to find as the WiFi is still trying to reconnect. It reconnects after 5-10 seconds, but it is worth noting compared to El Capitan

Each computer or laptop I've owned kept his internet connection when it is entered in the mode 'sleep'.  When I woke up the computers I always had the internet always there.

When I bought my new Acer Veriton X4620G a year or two ago the first thing I noticed was that whenever I wake the computer from sleep mode after that I left it for a while, his internet connection would be gone.  This would force me to click on the internet icon in the taskbar to log in again.  This issue has continued to this day.

Can someone tell me how I can get my Acer Veriton to keep its connection to the internet when it starts in mode 'sleep'?  It's Aussie a nuisance having to click on the network icon and wait that he reconnect every time.  No cell phones my wife or my own laptop or any othe computer I've had that.

Why is - what happens with my Veriton?

    Thank you.

  • MacBook Pro stops during sleep

My MBP 15 "mid-2015 retina stop completely during sleep. Often when I get back to my MBP, I have to start from scratch because it stopped during sleep. There is no message in the log to indicate why it closed and no error messages or indications of kernel panic. Sometimes the power and battery and with or without the lid closed. Latest OS X with all updates applied.

Reset the SMC (and NVRAM) does not help. Apple Diagnostics is no problem, and Genius Bar suggested I have first of all to make an OS X install excessive, then a clean install because they believe that it is a software problem. I tried to install too, and it made no difference. Pure install then, but I delayed, because it involves a lot of work in store again my work environment and data, it is not useless in current state - it's just a problem of waiting for the start up and then restore whatever, I was working on the last.

    Any advice?

There is no message in the log to indicate why it closed.

    There could be.

Wait until the Mac stops unexpectedly, and then check your system.log file to identify the numeric code associated with the stop. Read below.

Locate the Console application - it is located in your utilities folder and looks like this

You can find it by selecting utilities in the Finder go menu.

    Open the Console.

If the list of newspapers on the left column is not already displayed, view journal list by selecting view list of newspapers on display menu of the Console.

Locate system.log in the list, and then select it. Many date and time-stamped entries will appear, hundreds of them, and you need to find the relevant entries to your Mac problem.

Do that type the word cause stop in the field filter on the top right of the Console window.

Who will do all the log entries be hidden, except for entries that contain these words. There will be a numeric code associated with the entry of journal from «Cause of previous stop» What is this code?

  • How to keep the USB to USB UPS during sleep (Win 7 64)?

    Hello:

Still no response to painful problem with connection to UPS for sleep loss system.

New desktop (Dell Studio XPS 8100; Intel Core i-7 860 2.8 GHz processor; Win 7 Ult 64; 8 GB OF RAM; ATI Radeon HD 5770, etc.).
Brand new APC Back UPS XS1300LCD w/power falling Personal Edition v. 2.2. (Win7 compatible).

As with my old system to Vista Ult SP2 (32 bit), sleep cut power supply for USB devices, including the UPS.
Thus, if a failure occurs during sleep, the APC software could not perform his managed system shutdown.
Which defeats the purpose of having the inverter with its software to stop.

TS: the manufacturer of my computer (Dell) and APC were useless.

The only viable solution "circumvention" of Vista has been to implement a diet plan that NEVER put the HDD to sleep.  Not a very good solution, but at least it allowed UPS to stop software do its job failure.

Apparently, it is the only solution for Win 7, as well.
    Or is it?

If I disable the USB selective suspend in the settings for a plan power which puts the HDD to sleep, will be this or do not solve the problem and allow the computer to maintain the power (and the link with) the UPS during sleep?

Help, please. I'm not too computer savvy, but I hope it * is * a more satisfactory solution to this problem.

I have assigned to these forums several times in recent weeks, but never seem to get an answer.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

Follow these steps and check if that helps:
    1. go to start and type in Device Manager in the start search box and press on enter.
    2. in Device Manager, right click on the USB device and select Properties
    3. click on power management, then uncheck to Turn off energy-saving and activate the option to wake up from its sleep.

You can try to disable USB selective suspend and check if it solves the problem. Disabling this option has corrected the problems of connection with the devices USB mode 'sleep' for many users.

I spent some time studying the reports. The cause of your problem is not clear at present.

DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE bug control has a value of 0x0000009F. This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.

    Source: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff559329(v=vs.85).aspx

The system log records twice, 15 and February 19, when the crash occurred. Both times, as you have noticed, the system failure occurred while sleep is underway. The failure has been neatly and not an instant stop, which would be the result of a total loss of power. This suggests that it is a single conductor. I looked at your motherboard drivers and they seem to be up-to-date and you have the latest version of the BIOS.

It follows a note by SpiritX which indicates a line of research.

This error (in reference to 0x9F) means that a driver does not properly support the power state. Check in Control Panel - Device Manager to be sure of great drivers are stops during sleep - double-click sound - graphic-card NETWORK and WIFI card and others - tab power management - uncheck the allow computer to power off. Maybe the only has a problem.

Source: Post by SpiritX in these forums.

I would be interested to know if the settings for these drivers has been set to allow computer up-to-date? Your computer is a laptop if this is the setting that I expect to see that the computer is dependent on a battery.

This leads to another question. On the two occasions where the error has occurred the laptop was connected to the power supply? The battery charge normally? How well the battery he hold a load?

You have an odd error that soon occur when the computer is started' Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller is disconnected from the network ". Research has revealed that others have noticed the error, but I see no solutions. It is one of the devices when I asked you to check power management settings.

Also, you seem to have some events after that sleep was launched, which seems strange. There is no indication that the computer wakes up. This is an example "name resolution for the name talk.google.com expired after none of the configured DNS servers answered." It is for the network. Perhaps the network is not shut down when the computer goes to sleep.

You have a number of these errors, "the driver detected a controller on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 error. Maybe we should watch this later because there is more than enogh to look above.

  • iMac, loss of internet connection on sleep

I have remote on my iMac all the time. I have problems with it the loss of connection to the internet since the upgrade to Sierra. I connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable. I'll lose connection 10-15 minutes after leaving my computer and access it remotely. I "Wake for network WiFi access" checked and enable the display of SETTING for 10 minutes. " I just had this problem in the past few days since the upgrade. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I also use it for the presentation of work very frequently and lose the connection during their. Thank you

    Tom

Not quite the same thing as I'm not trying to access remotely, but since the upgrade to Sierra, my iMac mid-2010 do not reconnect to the wifi in the morning.  It is not slow, it will not reconnect all until I explicitly select the network.  I don't have this problem before the Sierra, and it doesn't seem to affect my Air mid-2012 (also on the Sierra).

  • Opening stalls during previews

Recently moved my library (2.1 TB, about 119 000 images) Aperture of my old MacPro for drive external hard en (LaCie 2Big 8 TB RAID 0) connected to a new iMac. Had to move the images of the project by project and by libraries that merge. Took the time (about a week!), but now all the images are in place.

However, when the new Aperture library previews, it stalls at half way through. During the audit of the activity, he says:

    Activity: treatment

    Description: Generating preview for _MG_7299

    Status: 37667 remaining

And there it hangs. Break activity is possible, but not stop the activity. I can use the opening and the computer, but I have to force quit application every time. I checked 7 files named _MG_7299 and there is nothing wrong with any of them. I have retired with the new RAW converter and able to generate new insights. Even took all the settings and updates to the original.

Also did repair permissions of database repair and rebuild the database.

    Also used Onyx.

So, what else can I do to properly operate the opening?

You could hold the SHIFT key while opening.  He'll get over the generation of previews for the entire session.

Then, you can select the photos where you want to have previews and select this option to render the preview manually in the menu Photos in Aperture.

The ability that you have described is not a feature of Apple Watch. Also note that the important safety information include:

  • Lose Internet connection after sleep/standby/hibernation Mode

I recently bought a new HP Pavilion Elite e9105z CTO Office and migrated from Win XP to Vista Home Premium x 64, with a NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller.  Whenever I come off standby or standby mode, I lose my Internet connection and have to restart my system or run Windows Network Diagnostics to repair the network adapter settings.

I tried several remedies available on Internet; but unfortunately, nothing has resulted in a permanent solution.  I contacted my service provider ISP (Mediacom) wonder if it was / is a problem with the firmware used to my cable modem SBV5220 support (for example, incompatibility with Vista) and they said there is no.  So far, I have:

    1. Reinstalled NIC driver.
    2. Power options controlled and reset with USB CDC.
    3. Apply the update for Windows Vista (default gateway setting is lost) for x 64 systems (KB933872) - response that update does not apply to the system.
    4. Reset the IP configuration via the Cmd line.
    5. Tab power, unchecked the box that shuts down the adapter then power save comes into play.

Access the computer several times a day and having to reset Internet connections became extremely aggravating.  I hope there is a solution.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Back from a 3 week stay, during which my office has been extinguished, my local internet connection would come is no longer active when he came out of hibernation.  The without line worked, but the local connection would not work unless physically, I unplugged the cable from the router (Netgear) and reinserted it.

After several days of frustration, I went into the Manager of devices, unchecked ethernet optional adapter "allow the computer to turn off this device."
This seems to have cleared up the problem, at least until now...

In addition, I had a lot of problems with the machine crashing and restarting when using the graphically intensive plugins and effects in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. I intend to contact Adobe on these questions, but I wonder if anyone can see a correlation in the above-mentioned report with some potential problems of graphics card. I'm afraid that my GPU is having problems or if my graphics card will need to be replaced.

    Thank you!

You have created a mess of your system by installing anti-virus software, contact AVG and uninstall their app by their directions. Antivirus, cleaning and other maintenance third party applications are completely unnecessary and tend to create more problems than they fix. OS X is extremely secure and so simply kept up-to-date will work well for years.

Then, ensure that the following requests that use:

    com.nvidia.CUDA 1.1.0

    com AmbrosiaSW.AudioSupport 4.1.4

    com.valvesoftware.SteamInput 3083.39.62

    com Cycling74.Driver.Soundflower 1.6.7

are up to date. If they are of the KP persist uninstall each one-by-by up to termination of the KP.
