  My MBP 15 "mid-2015 retina stop completely during sleep. Often when I get back to my MBP, I have to start from scratch because it stopped during sleep.   Still no response to painful problem with connection to UPS for sleep loss system.

  New desktop (Dell Studio XPS 8100; Intel Core i-7 860 2.8 GHz processor; Win 7 Ult 64; 8 GB OF RAM; ATI Radeon HD 5770, etc.).
  Brand new APC Back UPS XS1300LCD w/power falling Personal Edition v. 2.2. (Win7 compatible).

  As with my old system to Vista Ult SP2 (32 bit), sleep cut power supply for USB devices, including the UPS.
  Thus, if a failure occurs during sleep, the APC software could not perform his managed system shutdown.
  Which defeats the purpose of having the inverter with its software to stop.

  TS: the manufacturer of my computer (Dell) and APC were useless.

  The only viable solution "circumvention" of Vista has been to implement a diet plan that NEVER put the HDD to sleep.  Not a very good solution, but at least it allowed UPS to stop software do its job failure.

  Follow these steps and check if that helps:
  1. go to start and type in Device Manager in the start search box and press on enter.
  2. in Device Manager, right click on the USB device and select Properties
  3. click on power management, then uncheck to Turn off energy-saving and activate the option to wake up from its sleep.

  You can try to disable USB selective suspend and check if it solves the problem. Disabling this option has corrected the problems of connection with the devices USB mode 'sleep' for many users.

  Not quite the same thing as I'm not trying to access remotely, but since the upgrade to Sierra, my iMac mid-2010 do not reconnect to the wifi in the morning.  It is not slow, it will not reconnect all until I explicitly select the network.  I don't have this problem before the Sierra, and it doesn't seem to affect my Air mid-2012 (also on the Sierra).

  d. click on Device Manager in the left pane of the window

  I recently bought a new HP Pavilion Elite e9105z CTO Office and migrated from Win XP to Vista Home Premium x 64, with a NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Controller.  Whenever I come off standby or standby mode, I lose my Internet connection and have to restart my system or run Windows Network Diagnostics to repair the network adapter settings.

  I tried several remedies available on Internet; but unfortunately, nothing has resulted in a permanent solution.  I contacted my service provider ISP (Mediacom) wonder if it was / is a problem with the firmware used to my cable modem SBV5220 support (for example, incompatibility with Vista) and they said there is no.  So far, I have:

  1. Reinstalled NIC driver.
  2. Power options controlled and reset with USB CDC.
  3. Apply the update for Windows Vista (default gateway setting is lost) for x 64 systems (KB933872) - response that update does not apply to the system.
  4. Reset the IP configuration via the Cmd line.
  5. Tab power, unchecked the box that shuts down the adapter then power save comes into play.

  In addition, I had a lot of problems with the machine crashing and restarting when using the graphically intensive plugins and effects in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. I intend to contact Adobe on these questions, but I wonder if anyone can see a correlation in the above-mentioned report with some potential problems of graphics card.   You have created a mess of your system by installing anti-virus software, contact AVG and uninstall their app by their directions. Antivirus, cleaning and other maintenance third party applications are completely unnecessary and tend to create more problems than they fix. OS X is extremely secure and so simply kept up-to-date will work well for years.

  Then, ensure that the following requests that use:
