  As far as I know it is designed without special BIOS for these purposes, especially not for public use.
  Try to contact Toshiba service in your country and ask for help.

  You need a floppy drive and floppy disk to do it. No other way to install the firmware update.

  If you did, and you still get the update of the firmware, my assumption is that you have installed a P4 Prescott processor 3.0/800/1M and those that are not supported in your PC.

  You better install a Northwood P4/3.2/800/512KB SL6WG processor sSpec.

  You will get an error in the firmware with this if you have the latest firmware installed and your PC will work as well anymore charges.

  The only solution is to get a floppy drive.

  A USB floppy drive will be fine if you do not want to install in-house.

  The file creates a floppy drive and there is no way to simply retrieve the microcode update binaries.

  I was warned that a LR update was available this morning. Three trials resulted in a download error - the file appears to be damaged, please try again. So I looked around here and uninstalled LR, downloaded and executed the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool, rebooted my mac and then tried to download it again. This time installation successful but "a patch has failed. LR is open, and the splash screen is returned to a previous version (Build 1014445). Before this "update" I was to build 1083169.   I have a C540 all in one (no load) running Windows 8 and noticed yesterday that Windows updates have been failure for months then tried to run all the updates so that I can update to 8.1 (and, possibly, 10). At that time (and since purchase - I'm the original purchaser) Windows 8 has been activated very well.

  There were various failures and reversions of updates and now Windows does not recognize the Activation Code. The key is material, it shows that I have a key in the registry, but when I entered in the service of Activation of Windows I get the error:

  I think I have a half today to answer my own question.

  Today (without any changes made to anything) the key to Activation of Windows 8 was suddenly recognized and valid again. Now install each windows update individually also works.

  I think that it is possible, but there is an intermittent hardware fault kind on the C540 causing quite different material for the MS license not to recognize the configuration (and think that the license is not valid for the PC), whatever it is not permanent.

  Then - in terms of correction... Well I don't have - he went just by itself and I guess he'll be back one day...

  I get the above error when everything I do is adding data of normal text to a form that is to include a file upload, but the error does not occur when I download a file.  It happens when I add data to a text box in which is of type varchar2, not when I download a file.  It is in the Apex 4.2.4

  

  If I just enter a text string, the data are updated without error, but the text box is varchar2 (4000) so I don't understand why I get this error.  Below is the data entry is successful - no error message, the data is refreshed.

  My report and the form was built using Apex tool wizards.  By the process of elimination, I realized that the error came from the "Show only" field I had put on the form for one of the file download I don't want the user to change.  So I rebuilt the form/report, so the interactive report shows just the displayable downloads (downloaded previously) by other users and the form only shows the appropriate field to download new files.  I have no more errors.
