  I have a bug in my code cRIO and it only happens in cRIO and not in Windows PC. To illustrate the bug, I've included a LV 2014 vi that duplicates the problem.

  The code is very simple and offers the following features:

  (1) if the user presses the 'Test' button, the Enum has its set value reported. It's the change of Enum event is triggered two times.

  (2) if the Enum is changed by itself, that a change of the Enum event is observed.

  This bug is only seen in cRIO but not on Windows PC LabVIEW.

• cRIO is unable to enter active mode, because of the ethercat slave

  I have a (CS27 of HBM) ethercat slave connected to a cRIO 9068. If I right click on the device HBM under the EthercatMaster and go to 'Device status online' I put first the State of the HBM "Operational Pre", "Operational security" and then "operational." The CX27 indicates the operational stae with a LED.

  But when I try to put the cRIO in "active" Mode I get the error message:

  -The analytical engine NOR could not be changed to active mode, because one or several devices to find could not access the operational mode.

  The problem is finally solved.

  The problem has been layout of different synchronization between the HBM and cRIO (801 vs 802) Manager.

  Thanks to HBM to provide a firmware update to take in charge the provision used by OR!

• Passing of cRIO to myRIO

  I currently have a system configuration using cRio-9012, NI 9477, NI9263 and NI 9205.

  This system has the following inputs and outputs:

  1. entries: receives 2 analog pressure sensor values

  2. output: connected to a circuit of pilot digital outputs 7 runs hydraulic/pneumatic valves

  3 outputs: 2 analogue signals to a driver running variable hydraulic/pneumatic circuit

  The LabView program has 3 independent control loops that do the following:

  Loop 1 and 2: receive entries from the respective pressure sensor and control variable valves (based on input from the user (front)).

  Loop 3: Turn on and off the 7 remaining valves according to user input (front)

  At present the cRIO system I use manages the whole system perfectly, but I'm attached on a laptop more and intend to use the cRIO for a different application.

  So my request is myRIO would be able to replace the cRIO for my application? I also want to add sensors / additional outputs and communication also.

  The only potential issue I see with moving the project to the myRIO is the plug that you may need on your I/O. For example, the module 9477 is capable of 5 to 60 v output where the myRIO is only skillfully 3.3 v, LVTTL output. In the end, it comes down to your specific needs, I/O - I linked the manual and specifications for the 1900 myRIO below. I would recommend dominant to ensure that it will meet the requirements of your application.

  Side software, there shouldn't be too many adjustments to do - the myRIO has the same architecture as the cRIO treatment.

• The CompactRIO Modules are not connected

  I'm currently developing a compactRIO, but modules are not detected in system OR distributed, Manager even after hitting refresh Modules in the scan engine. LabView is able to detect modules, but the code does not compile. Watching the memory usage in the Distrubted System Manager it shows that there is no available memory and he has no memory allocated. I tried to reboot the device, uninstalling and reinstalling the software, but nothing has worked. Any ideas of what I could do to try to fix it?

  He has got to work! I reformatted the compactRIO and reinstalled the software and that seemed to do the trick. Thanks for your help!

  I updated the Firmware of my CLJ2840 all in one and the device is now insensitive:

  Device: HP CLJ 2840

  Installation: network printer

  OS: Win 7

  Drivers: Installation of the Standard Win 7 drivers

  I downloaded the file 2800_Series_FW_Update - 20120307.exe on the HP support site.

  I followed the instructions to the letter.

  I waited for the installation of the firmware to complete in its entirety

  I have noticed the messages shown on the device LED panel that followed the procedure.

  I noticed the face smiling at the end of the installation on the computer

  Result:

  Feature cycles as follows:

  1 turn on

  Toner of cycle 2 drums as usual

  3 LED panel shows marks in the upper part

  4 LED flashes once and 3 LED bars begin to scroll from right to left...

  5 witness bright and alert light stay lit

  6 this continues for about a minute... then the cycles of line 3... over and over again

  The device is no longer visible on the network

  HOWEVER

  Even invisible on the network, I managed to run the program from firmware to success... a second time.

  Help, please!

  Don't know what you mean by output of simulation and what hardware/software architecture and software you are using for your project.

  Usually you will use the compactrio hardware and write the FPGA VI and RT VI and also Windows vi if you want a user interface to monitor the status of the flags temporarily or send a few entries in RT VI. If this is the first thing to think about, and there is a lot of work to get a good system for such a request so started to work hard now, I'll propose.

  It is possible to test your written FPGA vi once in simulation mode by running the FPGA vi on computer simulation. This method determines only if there are no errors in the code and I want to save me time taken by FPGA to compile the code. You don't use it to simulate inputs and outputs on your hardware. To perform tests on your platform of rio, for example, features "will I get results if the input is x? You can use EITHER distributed Manager after you have written your FPGA code and compiled. There are good tutorials on the Web site OR distributed Manager OR.

  There are also third-party tools used to simulate and perform the simulation co precise Cycle using MentorGraphics ModelSim simulation package but you know VHDL for this. You don't really need it if you want to do a project.

  NEITHER really supports students working on projects. Your best bet is to give a call to OR and tell them you want to do this project using materials and you are thinking of rio platform. The sales engineer in your area can visit you and guide you through all the steps, and you may be lucky to get free training on the course OR FPGA and real-time application of OR.

  I developed a main application, which is streaming the output array via the shared network for small application variable that streaming even table in XML format as a web service.

  It was running fine when an installer in LabVIEW 2010.

  But now I'm doing an installer in LabVIEW 2011, application running on the remote computer and can see web service deployed in / National Instruments/aws/folder.

  I don't see any any given, & distributed manager says good quality of variable deployment shared.

  Is there any specfic in LabVIEW 2011 changes to an installation program.

  I do not know if I write correctly, but I'll try.

  I have been using Labview for one year, and as much difficulties I had, it was always with installation and update of Labview. I have a few wishes to work better with this, from my point of view.

  (1) as Labview have a lot of modules etc. And soap operas for module each separately or one for all. I think it would be easier and more interesting that I put the CD/DVD, then I put my series and installation program shows me that I can install or what kind of modules for my license is valid. As I was a beginner, I didn't what is what for and what I can install to my driver's license.

  (2) why is there no correct update of Labview? Something that shows me that the new software is out or something? And then automatic installation... I am still installing SP1 for Labview 2009, but there is always a problem: / I tried to install the new drivers for my cRIO system but it shows that something is still missing and I don't know how I can find the rest... SERVICE UPDATE OR never found anything.

  (3) removal of the software don't is not pleasant. Many things connect with each other and some I do not know why... For example I cRIO drivers 3.3.0 and I installed 3.5.1 drivers but as system showed me that I can't use it because something is missing and I decided to uninstall. Fortunately new pilots were linked to the old one and I had to uninstall everything... and then again to install the old one.

  It's the little things that really annoying me with Labview, but I think it should be much easier...

  As I couldn't do run, then I decided to reinstall Windows with Labview. And finally, after a few hours I got a good result. Something was not well installed. Max indicates that I have all but he could not install drivers cRIO. Finally, I managed to install the cRIO 3.5.1 drivers.

• BES 10 replacement for user defined rules of politics

  Our application for BES5 used the rules defined by the user to set default values for the application specific user.  From my reading, I can't find the equivalent of the user policy rules set in BES 10.

  Are there alternative ways to create, manage and distribute managed centrally by default for our application on the BES10.x.  By default include the HTTP port used by the application, the port of push and many faults of field level.

  It's a very good question. One that I have been unable to solve since the launch of BB10, unfortunately.

  We use a distributed deployment of vRA 7 and have 2 devices with the built-in vro. Both devices show the service as running vco-server, and I can connect to each instance of vco using the orchestrator client. Also the asax component can load workflows vro. I am able to navigate to the inventory.

  Also, we noticed this problem after one of our servers of iaas is dead on us. We had to rebuild a starting from scratch and shiv inside. It was the Manager node, then this is the EDO, DEM and Manager of services that run on it. Not sure if this is related, it's just that we noticed after. It could occurred earlier also...

  Any suggestions on where to look to refine this would be greatly appreciated.

  I searched google for the first line in the stack trace 'com.vmware.o11n.web.util.CommonUtil.getServerConfiguration' and came across this recent article from VMWare:

• Deploy comprehensive Acrobat and licenses

  Hello

  We are a company with offices in many countries around the world with users of Acrobat. I remember roughly in the previous global companies, we have volume licensing (EA, CLP or TLP) so that we could have 1 deployment package with key 1 license and distribute/manage globally. Then just ask for additional licenses globally by 1 reseller.

  Now, we are driven to go through Adobe resellers for each region, we want to authorize and deploy Acrobat. Does this mean that we will be still can under 1 license key/package or need a by region?

  What is the way more simple and better handle this in the world?

  Purchase Adobe licenses for most products is now ETLA (license agreement Enterprise term).  The Acrobat installer is now MUI (Multiple User Interface) or a language like Rave switchis Installer is an installer.  The other thing that has CHANGED is the serial numbers.  The serial numbers are regional, UNLESS you get a serial number of all THE LANGUAGES.  You will need to discuss this with your account representative sales on how you want to approach your Acrobat installations.

  Help!  I'm trying to download AFP via Safari.  I click on the agreement, then go ahead and get the message that it will automatically once these conflicting programs are closed.  Safari is highlighted in the box.  I shut Safari and nothing happens.  Even if I shut Safari until I click on the agreement, it still shows Safari as a confrontational program and nothing happens.  How can I download AFP without this annoying interference?  Thanks in advance for any help.  GCG

  Maybe Safari still works invisible?  Check with the Manager of tasks (processes tab).  Also make sure that no other browsers or mail programs are running.

• Load/CPU Distributed System Manager

  Hi all

  I just finished real-time 1 training where I learned about the Distributed System Manager.  Then, I deployed a project Veristand and watched.  For me, what I see, it's disturbing, but I'd appreciate your opinions.  While watching the processors, they seem to be occasionally exchange of charges autour.  Veristand project should be "slowed down" meaning that the HIL is not yet turned on, if the PXI chassis should be executed (2) models and custom devices (6) in a stable condition.  There is a good chance that all 6 custom devices work call loops (that I just learned is not recommended).  Also there are moments where two of the proccessors slowly seem to swap loads (in the attached zip) rather than the wobbly behavior below.  Any ideas?  Is - this inidicative of an unhealthy system definition?

  

  CPU scheduling is an interesting topic, and although deliberately threads to different processors can affect the determinism of a system, RTO Scheduler can and will move threads to different processors at different times. Moral of the story, what you're seeing should and fine as long as the use of a processor not individual rail.

  Now, if you want more control, VeriStand gives you the ability to control where to run most things. You specifically mention templates and custom devices:

  Models - you can specify, on a per model basis, what basis they run on. See "Processor" command on the model configuration page.

  Personalized custom - Inline peripheral devices will be running on the same core as the PCL; Custom asynchronous devices (which I'm assuming yours are because they use call loops) will run on what basis you say them.
