Revive this old discussion: error encountered reconciliation with connector of Tables of database applications

Having exactly the same problem.

Hello

I have configured the conector of Tables in the Application database to retrieve data from SQL Server 2008.

The creation of the generic connector is successful. The table and the fields are recognized, and I did the mappings.

When I run the scheduled task for the connector. the status is successful, but the data are not reconciled. When I check the log of the only information given is:

I already have the same exercise with an Oracle database correctly. The problem increases when I use the SQL sever generic connector.

I need to know how can I debug this type of errors. I don't know what to do.

Thanks for your advice.

Kind regards.

Update: it's a target recon. It seems that the query is run, but DBAT fails to read reviews. Could this be a problem with the nvarchar data Type?

Fatala. Confirming that the problem was with the nvarchar data type.

Reconciliation has gone well after you change the data type of the columns on the target ms - sql db to varchar.

* sound of me giving me a high five *.

also got my hands on dbat v11. Connector. Time to test it. According to the docs it supports the nvarchar data type.

  • IOM Lotus Notes target reconciliation - Recon events assigned to the user

    Hello

I have configured the Lotus Notes in IOM connector and I executed the reconciliation of the target for a certain user exists in Lotus Notes, which does not exist in the IOM. During reconciliation, a reconciliation event is created indicating he was assigned to the XELSYSADM user. The next step, I would like to perform is the creation of this user to the IOM, so I opened the IOM system administrator and I connect you as the user XELSYSADM. At this point I opens task list and search for approvals pending or open tasks associated with this event of reconciliation, but there aren't any. Can anyone help? How can I fill this event of reconciliation? How can I create this user?

Thank you very much in advance

If you want that for no match found, he should go to XELSYSADM then, it must decide what to do whther that the user should be created or not. Then, you can simply run Trusted Recon and change the rule of no match to assigned to XELSYSADM.

Whenever there is no match then he attributes to XELSYSADM then XELSYSADM can create user if he wants to with the help of the button to create a user.

But it has a disadvantage as users of Xellerate is used everywhere when we talk about Trsuted Recon, then it will change the rule for scope adapter. You can create dummy resource for recon trust with certain fields even as Xellerate users and return this RO in the HS task attribute. You are finished with your condition.

  • IOM API to add fields Recon to resource object?

In the console of design under the management of resources-> resources-> object reconciliation objects, I am able to add fields of reconciliation to a specific resource object. I would like to make using Java. After poking around the API of the IOM, I can't have this method. Is there an API of the IOM to add fields of reconciliation to a resource object?

    Here are my findings:
In the class "tcObjectOperationsIntf", I see "getReconciliationFields(long plObjectKey)". It annoys me all the recognized fields for a specific resource object.
In the class "tcFormDefinitionOperationsIntf", I see "addReconDataFlow (long plProcessKey, long plObjectKey, java.lang.String sourceKey, java.lang.String targetName, boolean isKeyField). This allows me to define a mapping between a label field as a process and a recognised field.

You will either need to export the XML file, then edit it, then reimport or devote the time necessary to create once in the java client.

    Try this as mentioned above:

Install a JDK in a path without spaces such asc:/jdk1.7.0_xx and use it. In your case "Program files" has spaces.

  • IOM recon question

    Hello
What is the best way to check for failure creation of the user the IOM to reliable source for recon?
Suppose that if thousands of user records handled during recon t had so little missed in tat case wat 2 do? Wat will be best practices b to follow?

    Thanks in advance...

You can always follow Recon Manager into console design or run a report to verify the users created in the date range specified in admin console.

You can also see the RCE_STATUS column in the NCE IOM database table. You can check with RCE_STATUS! = "Event related" or something in that sense.

  • 11g AD IOM connector

I OIM 11 g installed in my windows 7. I have another OS - Windows server 2008 32-bit in the same system. I installed AD in this OS. Can I install recon connector to users of AD (in Windows server in the same system) to IOM 11.1.1.5.0 in windows 7 in the same system. Is this possible?

Oh my bad. Please download conector server:Connector_Server_111150.zip BLAH here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/id-mgmt/downloads/connectors-101674.html.

AD Connector zip does not contain server connector inside. Install it. and follow the docs.

  • Recon creation even through custom code

    Hi all

I generate recon events in IOM by creating a custom Scheduler code.

The values are collected by the Java code from a CSV file (with a few commits with the IOM research, which I already have)

Now the four fields that are in CSV not all there in the IOM user profile.

Thus, in the RO > object reconciliation > fields of reconciliation - will be I have to give areas of the USR or I can give as any variable on which data cab be made on recon? Currntly I gave the CSV column names.

Also, kindly guide me through the API to be used as the createReconciliationEvent(), I'm currently train is discouraged.

All the other tips will be greatly appreciated, as I am new too far.

For api reconevent in 11g try below

expand the TaskSupport in your class recon etquex do below
    tcReconciliationOperationsIntf reconciliationOperationsIntf = null;
    reconciliationOperationsIntf = Platform.getService (tcReconciliationOperationsIntf.class);

create an event recognized as below
    eventKey = reconciliationOperationsIntf.createReconciliationEvent (resourceObjectName, reconHashMap, true);
    reconciliationOperationsIntf.processReconciliationEvent (eventKey);

  • Reconciliation in IOM?

    Hello friends

I am new to Oracle Identity Manager. I'm going through its tutorials and docs, but I don't get the concept of reconciliation.

If anyone knows it please inform me.

    Thanks and greetings
    DB

    Hello

Full Recon used for the creation of original data or loading data from IOM. In full reconciliation you just pull all the users of the trusted resource and push the IOM. Full Recon is mainly a time activity.

While additional recon used in the existing system were you have a set of users and you update frequently or you need basic. Any changes made to the profile of the user to the resource of trust should reflect in IOM this may through incremental Recon. Incremental Recon on specific interval and update all changes in the IOM that happened after the last recon on trusted resource.

    Key points for full and incremental Recon as below;

    Full Recon:
    1. first data loading
    2. create the user in IOM
    3. a time activity
4 example: flat file, database, People Soft

    Incremental Recon:
    1. scheduled task to run at regular intervals
    2. create and update the user in IOM
3 example: Recon, People Soft, AD data

Let me know if you need further information.

  • Half the width of the blade of bandwidth and IOM

    Hi, gurus from Cisco:

I read that Cisco series B width blade has a total bandwidth of 20 GB, can I looking for answers by authorities of this forum?

    Static pinning

Server Blade/link 1 Slot 1,3,5,7---qui IOM will be used for these blades?

Server Blade/link 2 Slot 2,4,6,8---qui IOM will be used for these blades?

    Q2.

How to calculate the bandwidth of 20G in the Cisco documentation?

    Q3.

If blade 1 o/s performs an i/o write request, said deterministically by the IOM (left of the chassis), if there is another reading of e/s issued by blade 1 once again, the I/O path passes by the IOM B(Right of Chassis) or by IOM to happen again? Here, no matter what algorithm to determine this?

    Q4.

How to design a solution that will be to balance the load between the IOM 2? Or we can leave to Cisco UCSM decide automatically?

Getting better understanding now. Excellent help from you.

Assuming I create 1 service profile with the following:

Adapter 1 as seen within UCSM

vHBA-A- Fabric A - Is this 4GB as of now or can we treat it as 10G Port too likes vNIC?

Depends on the Mezz card.  M71/M81 have 4GB FC chipsets.  M72KR uses an 8GB FC chip.

    vHBA-B- Fabric B - Same as above

vNIC-A-Fabric A-This is 10G port, for sure, right.

    Yes

    vNIC-B-Fabric B-Same as above

For VMware vDS setup, say for vMotion/Service Console to have Active and Failover/Redundant vmnic, should I team the 2 vNIC-A and vNIC-B or

I should CREATE another Adapter and team the 2 ports or 1 port here with Adapter 1?

Depending on which adapter you're using, you can create max to 2 NICs (M71KR/M72KR) or up to 56 NICs (M81KR).  If you can only create a max of 2 NICs you'll need to use both NICs as uplinks to your vDS - both will be active. With Palo (M81KR)

It is creating a lot of confusion for non-Cisco Blade folks even from VMware and me too here as "physically" it is still only 1 M81KR with Dual-Ports for vHBA and vNIC alike???

The value add for the M81 (Palo) is you're able to create multiple virtual NICs/HBAs which can all be treated individually (VLANs, QoS, Security, Stat Counters etc).  You are correct that you're still limited to two phsyical underlying NICs on each blade - where your design questions come into play is how you want to manage the behavior & performance of each NIC.

Can you please throw some light into it as I think it is all in your head?

You have done a great job in enlightening me and the rest.

You have an idea about this problem?

    Thank you.

    Best regards.

As much as I know, registry operations is unnecessary in the PS3. It was only held in the older versions of IOM (PS1 until I think). You are after all SOA PS3 document and found this step?

    PS3 as follows:

    Set JAVA_HOME to /app/jdk1.6.0_27

    export JAVA_HOME=/app/jdk1.6.0_27/

Set the ANT_HOME Middleware Home/modules/org.apache.ant_1.7.1 environment variable

    export ANT_HOME=/app/Middleware/modules/org.apache.ant_1.7.1

The value of the PATH environment variable for $JAVA_HOME/bin: $ANT_HOME/bin: $PATH

    export PATH = $JAVA_HOME/bin: $ANT_HOME/bin: $PATH

    Go to the IOM HOME/flow/new_workflow

    CD/app/Middleware/Oracle_IDM1/server/workflows/new-workflow

    Run the ant - f new_project.xml comment

  • Server of IOM throwing errors

    Hello

I installed 11gR2PS2 IOM under the guide of the Oracle, but I am facing problem on startup of IOM. There are many upcoming errors such as those listed below:

    < oracle.jps.authorization > < JPS-04155 > < analysis of enforcement policy has failed. Reason {0}

oracle.security.jps.service.policystore.PolicyStoreException: JPS-10702: jdbc/OPSSDBDS data source is not found.

weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceDeadException: 0:weblogic.common.ResourceException: could not create a connection from the pool. With the exception of the DBMS driver: listener refused the connection with the following error:

ORA-12516, TNS:listener could not find Manager available with corresponding protocol stack

I tried to reinstall twice but still the same problem. All associated IOM deployments are in the Failed state if the server shows as running.

Please help get the problem solved.

    Hello

The setting process is probably on the lower side in my opinion. Could you assigning a larger value such as 400 or 500 (depends in fact on the set of connection pool in your environment) and give it a try?

    Kind regards

    Ganesh

  • execution of ADLDS reconciliation work in IOM

    Hello

    My setup is like this:

I have a Virtual Machine running on Windows server 2008 R2 in a working group model. I installed Oracle database 11 g 2, Weblogic Server, server SOA and IOM (all the requirements for Oracle Identity Manager). Here, I installed the AD LDS role or service and created an instance.  I have a few test users in the AD LDS instance and try to run the job reconcile, but get the error below

Org.IdentityConnectors.Framework.Common.Exceptions.ConnectorException: Could not get the directory entry.

I tried the same thing, but as my computer is in workgroup model what domain name I give?

Here is the screenshot of my computer properties

Wanted to know if we can run job ADLDS reconciliation for a workgroup computer?

    Thank you

The documentation says that for the DirectoryAdminUser:

Note: If you use AD LDS as the target system and this machine belongs to a workgroup, enter the user name of the account is created in the Section 2.1.2.1, 'Creating a system user account target for connector operations'.

Enter a value for this parameter in the following format:

    USER_NAME

    Value of the sample:admin

    Try changing your username.

No matter what point of view on what is causing this problem and possible corrections?

I managed to solve this problem with the following instructions:

    1. connect to the WebLogic Administration console.

    2. navigate to servers-> [NAME of the IOM SERVER]

    3. on the Configuration: tabs to start the server, add the following value to the Arguments:
    -Djava .net .preferIPv4Stack = true

    4. repeat the steps for each managed server IOM, and then restart the servers of the IOM.
