iPad has stopped printing on hp6500A more - ePrint

Our recently stopped ipads to print to our HP Officejet 6500 a Plus.  It seems as if the print job is going through but there is not any output to the printer.  The printer worked very well for the Mac.  I rebooted the wifi and it worked fine.  Were there problems with the ePrint and is there a way to check?

Thank you

Let's define an external static IP and DNS address for the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). Your router uses the range, so just change the last set of numbers a.250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS. It's Google DNS. You can choose a different external DNS if you wish.
-Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • OfficeJet 6500 wireless has stopped printing black

    Printer stopped printing black.

    Installed new ink cartridge

    cleaned print heads

    aligned printheads

    switch machine

    CYA colors fine print

the printer is out of warranty - about 1 1/2 years.

    Windows 7 64 bit

almost ready to Chuck it by the window

    Thanks for the info.

I tried the thing to wash and dry a couple of times.

He has not worked for me.

I had already ordered a new Printhead and installed yesterday.  But it didn't work after aligning the print head process either.

I have tried resetting by unplugging the printer and hold the # and 3 buttons on the keyboard.  He rolled and then he started printing in black ink.  Yay!

I don't know if the old print head would have worked if I had tried the # and 3 button Reset the process, but I'll keep the old one just in case where (after I wash again).

Just happy to have a machine working again.  Testing time to go buy more ink after you run most of the color cartridges down with reset and alignment.

  • HP Officejet 6500 has stopped printing, paper white just came out.

My Officejet 6500 has just stopped printing.  I use a USB connection and my operating system is Windows XP Home Edition.  At first, it was just the text that Wouln't print but the colors would come by, even on test prints.  On a print document the little box comes up showing the data transferred to printer, printer starts but doesn't work with a blank page.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled program, has gone through the full program of the HP Solutions guided, checked all connections, installed the new driver, and yet do not print anything.  Have never had any previous problems since I bought.  I have not recently installed new programs.  Would appreciate any other suggestions.

After everything I lived, I finally solved the problem.  Although the ink levels showed ink cartridges, I put a new black in one and it works!

  • Printer has stopped printing in black, HP Photosmart printer 5514

My printer suddenly stopped printing in black. We have two computers on a wireless network, and of my husband's computer, there is no problem. From my computer I can print other colors, but not black. Test printing print in color but not black. I tried uninstalling software, reinstall and reconfigure wireless without success. Relocation seems OK but the problem is not resolved. I also tried to connect via a USB port, but without success here either. I have disabled the firewall for the last installation, but that did not help either.

    Printer: HP Photosmart 5514

    OS: Windows 7

No page contains just empty error message

    No change in system

Start by following the steps in this troubleshooting document, especially to consider the event as indicated in step three of Six Solution.

I suspect that when you print the test page to Six Solution it won't be black ink on the page.  Most likely, the computer that you have displayed to print in black has its media parameters on photo paper, which uses color inks to print in black.

If the printer is under warranty I would Contact HP for replacement.

  • Wireless printer has stopped printing

(HP4680) wireless printer suddenly stopped printing wireless.

She can still attached USB printing another PC. Windows 7 64-bit.

The printer wireless network Test report shows excellent connectivity and no problem.

Try printing a test of PC printer properties page and nothing happens. Queue shows 0 items.

Reinstalled and stopped and restarted Printer Spooler, has not been set.

    Advice appreciated.

    Problem solved.

Stop the spooler caused properties of the printer to disappear so I could not directly print a test page.

Since nothing else has worked so far, I did a restore of the system to 12 Nov and that fixes the problem.

Unfortunately using Restore from know the exact cause of the problem.

    Thanks for you help.

  • Cartridge Officejet 6000 E609n Magenta has stopped printing

The magenta cartridge has suddenly stopped printing several days ago. The last time it always printed, there were large vertical green lines on the right side (that I see) of the image. Now the only color that print is ugly green. I have always used HP cartridges only.

GOOD NEWS: This problem seems to be resolved. The printer started working perfectly again after I have it disconnected from the power supply, wait 10 seconds, then all reconnected.

  • It has stopped printing

Re: Merge (under license) running on the latest version of OSX Leopard, under XP SP3 with current updates

I was able to print without any problems for two months, but all of a sudden it stopped printing

I don't change anything (software or hardware).  I checked all the tricks (under XP and OSX) configuration and everything seems as it should (printer is turned on and ready, many Gig of space left on the HD, mac os x print jobs).

When I hit the "print" button nothing happens except sometimes the light on the printer blinks once, but it is not reproducible.

I upgraded Fusion 2.0.2 - which did not help.

I read a lot of posts on printing, but does not (of course, I have not read all the messages - much too)

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

Yes, the latest update of security Apple killed my printers also. Both were LAN printers. I restored my computer using Time Machine right before the security update and everything works now with Fusion 2.2.

  • HP Officejet 6500 has stopped printing

For some reason, my HP Officejet 6500 has everything in a printer does not print any more. The document moves through the printer and comes out blank. It does not print anything to a file on the computer, including something as simple as a letter. It won't photocopy. It will only accept faxes. The paper just moves from the status bar if the machine and get out again, blank. When I tell it to do a test print - it will print the boxes and lines and color, but does not print anything else.

About a week ago I had trouble with my air conditioner, and he got up to 90 degrees F in the House. The printer worked fine before, now it doesn't. The fire to something the printer?

I don't know how all this relates to MS Windows, but maybe you could try HP support regarding problems with your printer, for example.

  • Office JetPro 8500 has stopped printing and copying

This printer wireless installed has been working for more than a year. Now it won't print from my computer or copy of the device.

I send a print job to it and "print now" appears in the message window, but nothing happens, no error message on the printer (printing error on the printing on the sending computer state). When I try to copy it directly from the printer, I get a message "" now"copy" in the window of the printer, but nothing past so is. Printer window messages remain until I have Cancel.

I installed the latest HP Web site driver package.

It seems that the printer has become hung up, most likely in the internal software.

I would like to reset this printer:
    * Unplug the power from the back of the printer while the power is on
Disconnect the other end of the power cord from the wall jack directly
    * Wait 30 seconds - 1 minute
    * Plug the unit back to

Let me know if this becomes the unit upwards and will.

  • My iPad has stopped automatically and can not power on

Help!  I can't turn on my iPad mini.  I try to press home and power button / stop but also impossible to open. What should I do? BTW, I do not remember my imei number

How long you hold the Home and Power buttons for? You must hold both down until the Apple appears, which can take up to 30 seconds. Do not let go in quickly, or the device will not be reset.

    See you soon,.

  • Printer has stopped printing on 64-bit Windows 7 HP Probook computer laptop using the USB connection.

I recently bought a HP Probook and connected the laptop to an old but very faithful computer HP Laserjet 5 p. The HP Probook uses a Windows 7 64-bit operating system. The printer is connected to one of the USB ports on the laptop.

Printing worked fine until yesterday. To my knowledge, no update of the operating system took place. I tried change usb port, remove and reinstall the driver package, start and stop of the spool printing, deleting the temporary files in spool it print without result. When I click on print a Test Page, it seems to go to the printer, but is located in the coil. I also ran Print Microsoft FixIt which can't find any problem apart from the removal of the queue.

To check the cable, I plugged the printer on an old Vista HP Pavilion laptop and no problem printing.

I'm at a loss what to try next and would therefore appreciate all thoughts.

    Thank you.

How have you tried to uninstall the printer?

Here are some ways you can do it.

    1. go to the Start Menu

    2. all programs

    3 file HP

    4. choose the name of the printer

    5 down to uninstall.

Another way to check if it is deleted.

    1. click on Start Menu

    2. type in the Device Manager in the search bar

    3. in devices, look under the tabs, IMAGE Manager and DEVICES, PRINTERS and another tab that could involve the printer.

    4. If he's there, RIGHT CLICK and uninstall.
