IPv4 address default of SX - 80

Just bought two devices conference SX-80 (without distance, without touch screen) and I'm trying to find out if there is the default IPv4 address to enter the web configuration page.  Is this one?  What is it?

If there is no default, an a local DHCP server can assign? that is DHCP is defined as the default value?

What screen exactly the SX80 was not sitting at?

Try to set the following option in the configuration of the codec, it defines how key signs that the codec should expect to be connected.

    Hello

If a computer is only connected to a switch, the automatic configuration is not valid.

Autoconfiguration applies when a computer is connected to a server that can provide the configuration.

Wireless routers have a DHCP server that provides a valid IP address.

Ordinary switch is a transparent network device that cannot provide any configuration.

When there is no DHCP server, the computer must be configured with a static IP address.

    Look at this page, http://blog.mclaughlinsoftware.com/2009/11/26/windows-7-static-ip/

Follow the path as described in step 5 (Do not pay attention to specific numbers, your number is to be determined in accordance with your network plan).

Maybe you want to provide an explanation of what you are trying to reach.

  • SGE2000P loses the manually configured ipv4 address after reboot

I am setting up a new switch SGE2000P as independent. As part of the Setup, I need to assign a new IPV4 address to the switch default instead a 192.168.1.254. After that I applied the changes everything works fine, but when the reboot of the switch get the ip address back to the default. Any contributions to this issue will be appreciated.

    Hello Evillalona,

I just looked at the issue you are seen and wanted to check with you on this subject.

When you change the settings in the switch then go to the file management section

the switch and make a copy of the running configuration to the startup configuration? I just wanted to

check and see if that would fix the problem you are experiencing. I've heard other people with

the same problem and that was the difficulty for them.

    Hello

Reset the network settings on the unit by turning off the printer.

While now the buttons cancel and Wireless switch on the printer. as soon as the light starts flashing, you can release the keys.

Run the installation of the software on your computer by selecting to reconnect it to your Wi - Fi network.

Once the printer connects to your network, you can set custom again values.

  • Dynamic DNS update of IPv4 addresses does not not in Windows 7

Several months ago, we noticed behaviors incompatible with Windows 7 clients and their entry in DNS Active Directory.

The main problem is that our Windows 7 clients only will be not systematically their IPv4 address in Active Directory DNS by using dynamic DNS (RFC2136)

    Initial question:

    • A handful of customers will register its IPv4 address, but it is a minority and most don't (this is the main question)
    • We use the public IP address space.
    • Customers have been constantly recording the IPv6 address for 6to4 in DNS card but not its IPv4 address.

We have disabled the 6to4 map by using Group Policy, because we do not use IPv6 and don't plan to use the 6to4 transition.

    Secondary issue:

    • Customers is no longer recording card 6to4 in DNS (good)
    • Majority of customers do not yet record their (bad) IPv4 address.

    What I've checked so far:

    • Analysis using Wireshark:

      • Most clients make no request for SOA record and therefore do not try to send dynamic DNS updates.
      • Some customers get the AD zone SOA record and then send the DNS dynamic update to one of the DCs.
      • I see nothing of clearly different on clients who send updates and those who are not.
      • All the other AD related traffic, for example request/response for domain/ldap SRV record looks normal.
    • Settings on the client:

      • The IPv4 adapter "save addresses for this connection in DNS" checked.
      • The primary DNS suffix is the same as our AD domain name.
      • The AD domain name is a COMPLETE domain name.
      • Use us group policy to apply the primary DNS suffix and some connection specific suffixes.
      • Customers do everything they are supposed to; as access to shared resources, printers, etc. - just not update DNS.

I read all of the following, but I'm no further forward:

  • Get a strange IPv4 address of the DHCP server

    Hi all

As title, I got a strange IP - DHCP server 169.254.XXX.XXX.

I used Wireshark, tried to get the bootp packets.  I found that my laptop 169.254.xxx.xxx used as source address to send DHCP Discover.

In addition, there is an option called content with 169.254.xxx.xxx requested ip address. Like my source address.

I couldn't access the Internet with this IP address.

I was wondering, is that it is a normal behavior for windows 7 to use 169.254.xxx.xxx to send DHCP Discover?

A DHCP request is sent through the universal 255.255.255.255 broadcast address which is one of the addresses that a server is listening. The query includes the MAC address of the applicant unit because at this point, it doesn't have an IP address. The DHCP server responds to the MAC address in order to assign the address.

In your case, the range 169.254 is called the APIPA address and the PC actually assigns to himself because he did not see a response from the DHCP server. As you refer to Wireshark having a reading of the present.

    http://wiki.Wireshark.org/APIPA

The customer may not send the request via this address and get a response because the DHCP server is not listening on the address or by using the range. The answer must be done via the Mac.

    Hi all

I have more than two e-mail set up on my BlackBerry (OS 4.5) and define a default my BB email address.

now, if I create a new event in the native calendar application set option "send to" to my other email address (default no).

in my application I m going to the EventList

    (EventList) PIM.getInstance () .openPIMList (PIM. EVENT_LIST, PIM. READ_WRITE);

This list contains only the events in which the option ' send to ' is set to my default email address.

What is the normal behavior of the PIM EventList?

    Thank you

    Gerard

Each email address has its own calendar, which has its own EventList.  You can use the PIM.listPIMLists method to get a list of all events lists.  This feature was added in version 4.6.0 API of BlackBerry set.

  • Address conflict IP TC and iMac

Is back from vacay to an IP conflict on my mid 2007 iMac error message. My TC Airport caught the iMac IP and will not let go. Any other device on the network wireless can enter an IP address. We have AppleTV, iPhone, iPad, even a G5 which are humming and I'm dead in the water. Cannot use a static IP address to circumvent the problem, as I previously for other problems. I'm under El captain now 10.11.5 I rebooted all dozens of times, even deleted my AirPort Extreme Extender to eliminate as a possible source of problems. My ISP don't touch anything Macintosh, but they confirmed with other devices running, it must be the iMac. I tried to change the password on the TC so that any unauthorized connection would fall, but failed. Do I have to reset the TC? If I do I will lose my backups? The iMac and the G5 were both using the TC for backups.

My TC Airport caught the iMac IP and will not let go.

Try the following to release and refresh the IP address provided to your iMac to the Time Capsule (TC):

    • System Preferences > network > Wi - Fi > advanced > TCP/IP tab
    • Note the value for the IPv4 address
    • Click on the button "renew the DHCP lease.
    • Again, check the value of the IPv4. It changed?

You should not have to reset the TC to solve this problem... but if you do, any of the types of discount to zero (soft, hard, or default) will erase all the data on the internal drive of the TC or any drive connected to its USB port.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8000: installation of the driver wireless Officejet 8000 Pro says default gateway is 0.0.0.0

I'm chasing a well-documented problem of my printer lost network connection after a variable period of printing to do not. The only way to connect is to change the power supply, but the printer may take 5 minutes to blow and grunts until it settles and prints...

I put a static IP address on the printer (10.0.0.250) as well as an empty default gateway successfully, and the documents are printed after 5mins of blowing and grunting (save the regular lost connection which I'm hunting...).

I put what I thought has a static IP address on the router to match (see image below), but now I don't know if it was necessary, and if the 'hosting of the fixed DHCP server' is correct. It might be useless and missleading...

Using the configuration of the printer to 10.0.0.250 interface, it seems to accept the installation of the network when the default gateway is blank. With the help of 10.0.0.2 caused the 'page not found' error in my browser (Chrome).

However, when you try to reinstall the drivers, the installer has grumbled to the default gateway is set to 0.0.0.0, which currently is the only way it will work...

The Win7 PC is plugged into the router.
The printer wireless to the router.

ipconfig on the pc gives Ethernet card details below.

So basically I have no idea what I'm doing...!

    ==============

Ethernet connection to the Local network card:

    The connection-specific DNS suffix. :
    Link-local IPv6 Address...: fe80::c8e1:63ef:85e0:7 24% 13 c.
    IPv4 address...: 10.0.0.249
    ... Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0.
    ... Default gateway. : 10.0.0.2.

    Router config.

Thank you for your comments. It seems that I solved the problem of the default gateway. Time will tell if the remains of the printer connected through long periods of no use (see update below).

It seems that the configuration of the router of the "DHCP fixed existing host" has nothing to do with the device assigned a static IP address. In fact, it seems that this setting prevents the printer through a default gateway of the router address.

I noticed that when you give the PC a fixed IP, it connected through the router without any other configuration of router. If I reasoned that it may be applied to the printer also, so I moved the printer 10.0.0.251 and Bingo! the default gateway can be set to the IP address of the route.

Since then I downloaded to other updates, which is supposed to correct the common problem of wireless printers, loss of the connection.

I'll try to report in the next few weeks an update about the stability of connection network printers.

    UPDATED: May 23, 2016

And more of the foregoing, my router support suggested I increase a parameter "timeout" from 24 hours to 10 days. I did it more than a week. Today, the printer worked after the impression of not for about 5 days

  • Browser does not accept the IP address?

I recently had to reset my wrt54g2 v1 router.  I'm currently trying to secure my network, but when I enter my IP address in my browser, it does not connect.  I tried to enter my IPv4, my default gateway, 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.0.1 and none of them works.  Help?

    Hello

You wired or wireless connected to the router? Just to make sure, temporarily connect a cell phone to one of the ports numbered on the back of your router. Check your connection details (IPv4, DNS and default gateway address), then make sure that you receive these details with the automatic configuration (DHCP). With a stable powerlight, try to access the router configuration page using the default gateway.

  • Default gateway disappears after installing SP2.

    Hi people

I just installed SP2, and now when I start/restart the computer, the default gateway is missing. When I check the properties of the connection, the IP address is correct, but the default gateway is blank - it does not 0.0.0.0, there is nothing at all.

My computer (Vista Ultimate x 86) and a XP Pro PC are connected to a router. I have disabled the DHCP on the router and use a static IP address for each computer. The XP machine is rarely used. I also have a configuration of the VPN connection. When I first encountered this problem, I deleted the VPN connection in case the PC tried to use it to connect to the Internet. I later recreated once I realized what the problem was.

Even if I can reset the bridge, I don't want to have to do this every time that I reboot.

These steps and tell us where is the breaking point.

If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

    ------------------

The wireless card drivers much also install utility wireless of the seller.

Make sure that if there are teas from Wireless Utility of seller does not work with the native Windows wireless utility (Service WLAN).

    ----------------

Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.

Some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible set up the firewall correctly, otherwise totally uninstall and get rid of its remaining processes that permit the own local network traffic flow.

If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

party like Hello and NetMagic 3rd network managers can block local traffic too.

    ---------------------------

Stack TCP/IP work should look like.

Right-click on the wireless network connection card, select status, details and see if she got an IP address and the rest of the settings.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/status-NIC.jpg

Description is the data of the card making.

The physical address is MAC of the card number.

The xx must be a number between 0 and 255 (all xx even number).

YY should be between 0 and 255

ZZ should be between 0 and 255 (zz all the same number.)

The date of the lease must be valid at the present time.

    * Note 1. IP that starts with 169.xxx.xxx.xxx isn't valid functional IP.

    * Note 2. There could be an IPv6 entries too. However, they are not functional for Internet or LAN traffic. They are necessary for Win 7 homegroup special configuration.

    ---------------------------------------------------

A message in the small window that says connected wireless doesn't means that you are really a valid functional connection.

Above everything is OK, you must be able to connect to the router.

If it doesn't connect to the router, journal newspaper from any computer that can connect to the router wirelessly with a wire, disable wireless security, make sure that the wireless SSID broadcast is enabled and try to connect with no. wireless security.

Enable security wireless after you eat to make a functional connection.
