Irregular connectivity - ACER 7551. Windows 7; 64 bit. Broadcom 802.11n network adapter

and Microsoft virtual WiFi miniport adapt.

Netgear wireless WEP encryption.

I have a DELL Inspiron with NO QUESTIONS through Win 7 the same router.

ACER aspire unpredictable will escape and does not connect at all.

The troubleshooter for WINDOWS currently deducted "your modem broadband has connectivity problems. Reset your broadband.

On other occasions, troubleshooting has solved the problem.  This happens probably once a day.

Seems illogical that the modem would only allow a computer through the router?

Of course, I rebooted.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for your swift suggestion.  During this time, I did a restore to a point several weeks ago.  Then I got an error message that NORTON was corrupt. So I did an UNINSTALL of NORTON (need to go to their Web site - could not just use Uninstall WIN from the control panel settings). Then a reinstall.

My connection is OK today. I'll see how long I can go without problem before returning to your suggestion on the pilot.

    I have a laptop HP dv6-6c10us with a Broadcom 802.11n wireless adapter.  It worked fine on Win 7.  When I upgraded to win 10, it has stopped working.  The driver has not been updated since 06/02/13.

    Until the driver is updated by Broadcom or HP, this computer is now a desktop computer.

    Any suggestions on how to get the adapter wireless on Windows 10?

    I recommend you to go back and do a system restore to a point before started to install the automatic updates, and where worked the wireless.

    Then download this tool that stops updates to install automatically.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3073930

    Hide all of them and then install one by one until you find the one that is to destroy the wireless connection.

    When you have found the culprit just hide it again and it will not be installed.

    You can create a system restore point each time you install an update.

    Tedious, but you should get where you want to be.

  • Problem connecting to 802.11n networks on Vista or Windows 7

    Hello

    Under both Vista business and Windows 7 Enterprise, I can connect to an 802.11n network only if the computer has not slept or hibernated. If the computer is asleep or in hibernation, I can connect is a 802.11n network until I restart. However, I can still access the 802. 11b / g fine after sleeping.

    Is this a problem driver or a matter of Intel 5100 AGN.

    One of them was to disable "Energy savings" in Manager device for the card, but that seems to make the system from time to time wants a blue screen.

    Not sure if it's a hardware problem, driver problem Intel or a Windows problem. Maybe someone could put a good solution, the version of the driver or the hotfix.

    Updates Microsoft or updates to Lenovo Power that came out last week corrected it. I had no need of updates to Intel.

  • HP Pavilion dv6t-7000: Ralink RT5390R wireless adapter does not connect to 802.11n network

    I have a HP Pavilion dv6t-7000, equipped with the Ralink RT5390R wireless adapter.  For the life of me, I can't get it to connect to my home network when implemented as 802.11n.  They connect other devices. If I change my router 802.11 g, but no other change, doe HP connect. But if I return the router to 802.11n, HP sees the network, and it correctly identifies as a 802.11n network, but does not connect.

    The router is a D - Link DIR-615 (N300 2.4 ghz)

    Found a solution.  Both HP and windows said I had the most current drivers, but this HP forum had a link to a newer driver.  Installed and it worked.

  • Help you connect ODBC in Windows 7 64 bit with Office 2010 32-bit.

    Hello

    Many moons ago, I wrote an application in Java that configured XP machines after sysprep would be deployed. I am currently all our workstations to Windows 7 migration and was check my application always worked and interrogates the correct registry keys etc.

    As it turns out however I don't even go there as I think the application is unable to connect to the driver ODBC Microsoft Access in Windows 7 64 bit with Office 2010 32-bit. Here is the code that I have always used and no longer works. I hope someone can tell me how to change the command works on Windows 7 64 bit. If I navigate to C:\Windows\SysWow64\OBDCad32.exe all the drivers I need are there I think, but if I open ODBC in Administrative Tools tab drivers is empty but for SQL. Anyway I have to shut up and here is the code I used to use:

    public IOMakeConnection()
    {
    DM = new DisplayMessage();
    ioed = new IOEncryptDecrypt();
    URL = "jdbc:odbc:DRIVER = Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb); DBQ ="+ GetExtension() + 'Config.mdb; UID = admin; Pwd = password';

    VR;
    {
    Class.forName ("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
    connection = DriverManager.getConnection (url);
    }

    catch (System.Exception e)
    {
    System.out.println ("" + e);
    errorObtainingPath();
    }
    }

    The exception is always thrown as my little app that requires the path of the database always loads.

    Thanks in advance,

    Cheers Kris

    C:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /C CD\ & SET CLASSPATH = C:\SCAConfigurationUtility & CD C:\SCAConfigurationUtility & SCAConfigurationUtility JAVAW

    Well, there is a call to javaw there; because there is no path, it will use the 'java by default'; I don't have no idea how a java version becomes the default java but I would not be surprised if this is the last installation.

    You can force a specific runtime to use by replacing the "javaw" with the full path to the runtime javaw executable you want to use in this particular case (its in the bin directory). It's basic shell btw stuff, it has nothing to do with Java.

    DEV_0891 returns as: the controller of Gigabit Ethernet 10/100 / 1000 Mbps, which seems to be the wired Ethernet. Your wired connection works or you use another machine for packs driver D/L? The drivers for this device are here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS028930 if you need.

    Given that you have ID'ed visually the wireless network adapter, the driver W7x64 related here:

    http://support.Lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?docid=DS015011 * should * be what you need, but I am surprised that you are not showing a network controller "yellow!" which itself with the dev ID is appropriate. Can you confirm that you have tried to install this driver pack?

    Finally, I'm fairly certain that the Base system device is the Ricoh card reader. The pilot would be here: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS028931 if so.

  • Mobile gamepad XBOX 360 not recognized when connected to a Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium computer USB ports

    Very well - so a few days ago (Saturday ~ 2) (25. 2012) I connected to my XBOX 360 (Wired) controller on my Toshiba Satellite L655 computer laptop with Windows 7 ~ Home Premium 64-Bit. To my surprise, a Notification bubble popped up from the taskbar, saying that the "unrecognized USB device. It has malfunctioned. "

    Naturally, I took, waited a few seconds, and then reconnect the USB key. The same message has popped up. Now, I was angry. Repeatedly, I took and reconnected it all a few seconds until that FINALLY the 4 green lights around the button Guide everything illuminated and then back except the one on the upper left, which was the way it should have been.
    I went to the control panel and clicked on the 360 controller to see if he had any input. Nope.
    I pulled out once more, has waited a while and plugged in. No, lucky. The same thing happened again. The Notification bubble came, all 4 green lights on and then all four of them died. I don't know what happened.
    When I plugged the controller to the laptop the FIRST FULL TIME, he installed all necessary drivers in less than a minute and I was on my way. Every time after that, I have taken the controller into the USB Port and began to play. Now all the time, that is to say that it cannot recognize the controller?
    I've tried everything, even a system restore. Nothing did. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for a few minutes, there was an entry of the controller, then he went just blank.
    I need this controller in order to play my racing games, seeing the keyboard control just aren't the best. I don't know what the problem is, but I wish I had a solution A.S.A.P. Please, Microsoft, please. Help me!

    I had the same problem, cannot find a solution that worked everywhere, including Microsoft support forums.

    About to give up, I remembered the old cure NDA, shaped, "why not?"  I've tried everything else. "So I've disconnected everything on the gamepad, blew in every connection and reconnected everything, by ensuring that the connections were tight.

    It has worked perfectly since then.

  • between my computer and router wireless connection (vista, premiem windows 7, 64 bit)

    Hey I recently had problems with my connection Wireless between my computer and the router.
    Normally off during the night is not connected to my router or on the internet the next day.

    I have been in close contact to my isp provider and have received a new router and reset my wireless Internet services provider site but I'm still having problems. I have also updated my drivers for my wireless on my laptop Hp G62 and have found that it will not cut when I do not shut down or sleep during the night.

    When you try to solve the problem, it will come back with "problem with the adapter or wireless access point and then asked to disconnect the power to the router. After doing this it will be fine all day.
    I do also to turn a blackberry 9000 "BOLD" and see first thing in the morning if the wireless is connected or not.

    ask for help, here is my last option I have been through everything and had an expert look at my computer where he found nothing wrong with my computer or wireless set up settings.

    any help or advice would be great

    Hello

    1. do you have problems connecting with Windows 7 or Vista?
    2. you remember of any change to your computer before the problem?

    Make sure that there is no interference between your router and your computer. For example. Mobile phones, like the mobile signals could conflict with your router signals and therefore no connection to your computer.

    You can uninstall and reinstall the Device Manager wireless network card.

    To uninstall the wireless device manager,

    a. Click Start, type device manager in the search box of start and press ENTER.
    b. Locate the network adapters and expand the same.
    c. Select the wireless connection, right click and choose uninstall.
    d. restart the computer, if prompted.

    Pilots should settle automatically after the computer restarts.

    Now you can install the latest wireless drivers and check if this solves the problem.
