  There is unfortunately no way to add a DVI port to this machine. The problem is there is no adapter for D - sub to dvi and you can't go to the motherboard of your machine with a DVI connector.

  If the printer is connected by USB cable, you should find the scanner icon in the control panel > Scanners and cameras. If you double-click on the icon of the scanner, it should start the wizard for scanning.

  HDMI on a video card is out only and is not used to send video to the computer. The camera must have a connector of the usb cable to transfer the video to the hard drive. HDMI on a video card is only to connect a monitor. You would need to capture the camera drivers and software.

  Awesome response. I read the details and depth of your post. I understand that the bios is updated. So you could end up with this update.

  Happens to the other updates. This will be the order.

  1. Uninstalling the driver Chipset and resettlement.

  2 reinstalling and uninstalling graphics drivers

  3. uninstall the sound drivers and reinstall.

  Before uninstalling, you can try to update the drivers supplied by device also Manager and if that market that will be great. Please, do it only if you don't have already done.

  Before uninstalling please make sure that you capture an image of the complete Device Manager window. Take some pictures of your cell phone. Please note the exact device for audio and video chipset drivers. Then, you will need to uninstall it from the Device Manager and install from the support site in the above order so that there is no confusion.

  If nothing works as a last resort, you may need to restore complete system to factory settings. Please backup your files before doing so. This is possible since the recovery of your computer's hard drive partition.

  I think you should use the recovery discs that you made in the past.
  Retrieve the computer laptop back to factory settings and check if the HDMI would work again.

  And of course: it is possible that your HDMI cable is not correct.

  In general there is no driver special HDMI port. If you connect your laptop to TV/monitor external, you must press the FN + F5 key combination to switch between monitors.

  Recently bought a Satellite L670 and now I am trying to connect to my HD TV.

  Checked the manual and it says to go to "display settings" then "change the appearance of display you" then "Advanced settings" then "list all modes" and change the settings for one of the HD modes for example 1920 by 1080 etc etc. None of them are available in the "list all modes"! higher is the true color of 1600 x 900.   Very interesting question! In my view, HDMI port is to be used with the HD ready LCD TVs or plasma. Combination of connection HDMI and HD DVD movies, you can really have a HD on your TV picture quality.

  As you know the port is a standard VGA port to connect external displays. The image quality is very good and, in my opinion, you should not use HDMI port for the same. Do you perhaps the best image quality?
