Is it possible to add an hdmi port? HP envy 23-d010ea all-in-one

I wanted to get a Ps4 soon but I do not have a tv and on my computer I don't have an hdmi port. I see on other models of my computer, they have it for example on the d052 23 this is how

Where as on my is like this

If this part is just an empty space. I was wondering if it was possible to add hdmi port or if there was a way I could still play the ps4 on my computer?

The HDMI USB 3.0 adapter to cited above, is designed to connect to a USB port on your computer and a HDMI signal to a HD TV or monitor output only. It does not connect the HDMI output of a console game on your computer.

It may be possible to purchase all necessary components to add this feature to your computer, but the cost would far exceed the price of a new monitor or HDTV. Please buy a HDTV or an inexpensive monitor for use with your PlayStation.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

As it is configured, the factory is the "HP Pavilion all-in-one-23-p110z CTO" capable of supporting a second monitor?  I see NO obvious "video inputs" ports.

    Thank you!

    Hi @beckinista,

Thank you for being an active member of the HP's Support Forums.   I understand that you would like to know if you can connect a second computer monitor 23-p110z all-in-One CTO Pavilion.

The specifications of the motherboard of your computer show that there not a secondary display port. I have included HP Pavilion 23 - p110z all-in-one CTO Office product specifications and configurable Options and HP and Compaq Desktop PCs - specifications of the motherboard, Boa for your reference.

    I hope the above helps.

  • Is it possible to use the wizard to analysis of Microsoft with all-in-one HP Officejet 7410?

I have a HP Officejet 7410 connected to my system and it works well had to analyze the documents, that I prefer software that comes in the accessories of Windows XP. Naturally, the HP software overrides this facility and the scanner is not seen. Is it possible to make visible in the Microsoft program?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

If the printer is connected by USB cable, you should find the scanner icon in the control panel > Scanners and cameras. If you double-click on the icon of the scanner, it should start the wizard for scanning.

  • HDMI ports can be used outside of the stacking

I guess it's not, but good to ask... maybe he can do in a future firmware...

On the 5548 is it possible to treat the hdmi ports in standard rather than use their stacking. For various disaster scenarios (including the paranoia of the experiment with a different providers handling of a switch down causing the battery to fail rather than just unit), better staging rolling updates, etc., we want that the switches to be separated (each with its own IP, etc...).  It would be nice to always use hdmi ports high speed like a SHIFT to switch interconnect rather than treat the two switches as one.

The HDMI ports are strictly used for stacking.  I'm not aware of any risk that this will change in future updates.

  • Computer only has no HDMI port, can I add a?

OK, here's what I have a desktop computer, and is not an HDMI port. I have a video camera that I need video streams in Adobe Visual Communicator and open diffuser. I use HDMI due to video quality. Is there such a thing as a PCI or PCIe card that has a HDMI port to where I can use my desktop for this feature? Thank you

HDMI on a video card is out only and is not used to send video to the computer. The camera must have a connector of the usb cable to transfer the video to the hard drive. HDMI on a video card is only to connect a monitor. You would need to capture the camera drivers and software.

It is not possible to add arbitrary ports.

Ports are part of the motherboard and if the laptop does not provide an HDMI port, so, you will not be able to use that :(

Of course, you could use a device that would be to convert a digital video signal, but they are expensive and in my opinion not worth trying it s better to buy a laptop that would support the HDMI port instead of buy a converter for 200-$300

  • Satellite A300D - HDMI card but not HDMI port

My Satellite A300D - 13G get an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 series video card which allows to manage a digital DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort video output, but I don't have HDMI (or DVI or DP) port on my laptop.

It is possible to add this digital video output port?

You can add it as a external display only. Google around a bit and pick up some information about this.

According to the specifications of the laptop our laptop has 1 expresscard slot, in order to check in google if you can find a few HDMI to expresscard adapter.

  • Pavilion dv7t-4000 laptop: AMD HDMI port on the computer laptop dv7 is lost after free trial Win10 returns to Win7 Home Premium edition

My laptop was purchased in sept 2010 and runs Win7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit).

It worked perfectly until June 2016, when the trial version free odious Win10 forced itself on my laptop.  I had no choice, I used Win10 for a day or 2 and then discovered that:

    (1) I lost the audio capability, HDMI port, I use to connect to my TV, and

    (2) the Win10 trial enabled me to return on Win7, I did without delay.

In my Win 7 restored, everything was fine, except when I have her go in Control Panel to configure / reconfigure HDMI as the default, I couldn't - the element used to appear as "AMD HDMI Audio" is no longer displayed.  I remember a message during the free trial period Win10 that says it has disabled any material incompatible.  Without a doubt, Win10 free trial 'killed' this HDMI/device port, at least audio-wise.

Today, I always run the same Win7, but I can't have audio HDMI on this port.  When I connect to my TV, the video works.  Win7 Device Manager it shows with an exclamation in yellow, and when I right click to get more details, there is a message saying Microsoft:

Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52).

Is there a way to 'get it '?  'this' is AMD HDMI audio.  (and wthout spoil the graphics - that is, video)

I tried to install the drivers provided by AMD [graphics] and that did not work. The Internet from AMD website says that the audio drivers are included in the package for graphics drivers.  There is also a huge confusion in the way these low level items are named/described: ATI and AMD, because they have merged, were used somewhat interchangeably.  I also tried the graphics drivers AMD HP Support Web site specific to my laptop and it has only gotten worse.

Thank you for your kind attention.

    Hi @ RTX,

Awesome response. I read the details and depth of your post. I understand that the bios is updated. So you could end up with this update.

Happens to the other updates. This will be the order.

    1. Uninstalling the driver Chipset and resettlement.

2 reinstalling and uninstalling graphics drivers

    3. uninstall the sound drivers and reinstall.

Before uninstalling, you can try to update the drivers supplied by device also Manager and if that market that will be great. Please, do it only if you don't have already done.

Before uninstalling please make sure that you capture an image of the complete Device Manager window. Take some pictures of your cell phone. Please note the exact device for audio and video chipset drivers. Then, you will need to uninstall it from the Device Manager and install from the support site in the above order so that there is no confusion.

If nothing works as a last resort, you may need to restore complete system to factory settings. Please backup your files before doing so. This is possible since the recovery of your computer's hard drive partition.

  • HDMI port is not detected on my Satellite L755-1NX

    Hello

I have a problem with the conector HDMI to my new laptop, I have bougth 2 weeks ago.
The laptop detects no HDMI port. When I conect the laptop to a TV or monitor on a different pc, any of these detects anything.

I tried to update a lot of drivers, old and new drivers Nvidia display drivers Intel... And I also do the 4 recovery DVDs, to restore the laptop to factory settings.

All this without any solution. When I press Fn + F5, only there is the option of the LCD screen.

I intend to use the guarantee to repair the laptop, because I think it's a hardware problem.

    What should I do?

    Thank you!

    Hello

I think you should use the recovery discs that you made in the past.
Retrieve the computer laptop back to factory settings and check if the HDMI would work again.

And of course: it is possible that your HDMI cable is not correct.

  • Satellite L650 - no signal on TV via the HDMI port

    Hello

I have a problem with the HDMI port. I am not able to connect the L650 to my TV. There will be no incoming television signal. The TV port is correct because I can connect my digital camera without any problems. The HDMI port is not displayed in the hardware Manager. I don't use the version of windows 7 that has been installed originally. I formatted the disk and have reinstalled a different version of windows.

Do I need a special driver to activate the HDMI port? I just installed the ATI catalyst driver. If you would like more information, I'll try to give them as soon as possible.

Thank you very much for your help

    Hi song2.

    > have reinstalled a different version of windows.
And what version of Windows you have right now?
You have yellow exclamation points in the Manager of devices or unknown devices?

In general there is no driver special HDMI port. If you connect your laptop to TV/monitor external, you must press the FN + F5 key combination to switch between monitors.

    Check it!

  • Satellite L670 - How can I connect my TV to HDMI port?

Recently bought a Satellite L670 and now I am trying to connect to my HD TV.

Checked the manual and it says to go to "display settings" then "change the appearance of display you" then "Advanced settings" then "list all modes" and change the settings for one of the HD modes for example 1920 by 1080 etc etc. None of them are available in the "list all modes"! higher is the true color of 1600 x 900. This means that the HDMI output is not available on this laptop?

Also tried the "Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel" option and the "monitor / TV Settings" says it is not supported! Assuming that this laptop "not" support HDMI output (why have a HDMI port, otherwise?), can someone advise a step by step procedure that will work.

I just thought that I would press a FN key + and TV out turn... it seem as simple.

    Hey,.

Normally, it is possible to use the screen 1080 p with HDMI output resolution if the external monitor supports this.

What operating system you are using?
You have reinstalled display driver with the latest version on the official page of Toshiba?

  • Not possible to set the HDMI output as default screen on Qosmio G30

It is not possible to set the HDMI output as default screen! This works only with VGA output. There is no option in the BIOS. According to support, Toshiba will plan any action for this useful feature.

I use an external TFT with HDMI adapter DVI Cable and I want to have as default screen TFT. With VGA, it will work without problems.
    Any solution?

    Best regards

    Hi Nicolas

Very interesting question! In my view, HDMI port is to be used with the HD ready LCD TVs or plasma. Combination of connection HDMI and HD DVD movies, you can really have a HD on your TV picture quality.

As you know the port is a standard VGA port to connect external displays. The image quality is very good and, in my opinion, you should not use HDMI port for the same. Do you perhaps the best image quality?
