Is it safe to open www2.topdcu - network.lsgre.at to remove viruses?

Security Center Windows says that my PC is infected by several viruses: Trojan.BrowseBan, BackDoor.Siggen.17777, Packed.Vuntid! gen2, etc..   I want to leave Windows security remove these viruses, but I need to know if it is safe to open www2.topdcu - network.lsgre.at to do this.  I downloaded the malware removal tool and did a full scan, but can't find any infected files.

Hello

Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware

http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php

You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill

If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

Windows Vista

Using the F8 method:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
  3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
  4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
  5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
  6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

  • PC XP very slow opening files on network 2003-2008 since 7 days ago

Since Wednesday last (06/29/11) all the xp pro pc on our network takes forever to download files. the network has 4 servers 2003 r2 and 2008 r2. You can navigate without problems, but when you download for example a 300 KB word doc it will take 5-10 minutes.

On a windows pc 7, it is as fast as its always been.

Nothing has changed the wise configuration, but servers are installed to automatically download patches and it seems to have happened Tuesday / Wednesday last week.

Sure that's not SMB2 Preety causing the problem, maybe a patch for the network protocol?

    any help much appreciated

  • Windows 7 Homegroup: no Permission to open folders under network in NSC

    Hello

I have set up a homegroup.  I have two wireless computers running windows 7.  I created a homegroup on C1, C2 saw and joined.  Now C2 appears in the residential group C1, but C1 can not open files under homegroup - files do not respond.  Under the portal network in the NSC, when I click on the shared files of C2 or C1, I get this error:

"C2 is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this network resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.  The names of suppliers of specified network is invalid.

However, C2 can open files of C1 under network.

Anyone has an idea how I can give permission to C1 to open its files under network too and stop the above error?  Both computers run Mcafee updates and are approved.

    Thank you.

    All,

Just FYI, I fixed it!    The problem was that I didn't have the installed on my card remote access client.  If this happens again, now you know!

    Take care.

  • CC opens whenever the network disconnects

Is there a way to get the CC on OSX app to stop opening every time the computer loses its connection to the internet?

I work on a laptop and often have to plug and unplug a wired network access to other wireless networks. Whenever I do this since the last update, creative cloud opens to warn me that it lost the connection.

I use no CC every day. It is only about 10% of my job... description but I need the software from time to time, and it's very annoying having to close more than 20 times a day.

you have to run the application of office cc, at most, once every 30 days.

Click the gear on the top icon right > click Preferences > uncheck "start connecting".

then quit (gear icon > quit) the desktop application.

  • InDesign does not open when the network drive is not available.

    Hello world

I have a laptop (MacBook Pro OSX10.9.5), which shares a network drive in my office. The reader is with another computer. When I take the laptop out of the network of the company (for a meeting or a house), InDesign will not open, it gives me the following error (see image). I tried to replace the default values and SavedData files and InDesign also re-install from scratch. I still get the same error. No idea what is happening or how to fix it? Thank you in advance.

    Hello!

I realized that it was, finally. After playing, I noticed that my InDesign fonts folder, had 'alias' links to fonts residing on this shared drive. As soon as I deleted all those who where alias, the error disappeared. I hope this helps someone in the future.

  • Dreamweaver CS5.5 terribly slow opening CFM on network

I worked for more than a year to get my boss to dispense with the old version of 2004, we had so we could have a better tool to work with Coldfusion 9 files. She finally allowed me to buy a copy to test with our group.

I seem to have the same problems of extreme slowness of others, but none of the ususal fixes work for me.  MUST FIND A SOLUTION!

    ON

CFM files are stored on a server networked in a main directory but apps live in subdirectories. There is no FTP site, must be networked. He can not keep copies of files on my pc.

CFM files that contain RELATED CSS, JS or CFINCLUDES last from 30 seconds to 5 minutes to open and save.

CFM vs with LINKS, JS or CFINCLUDES files open and save in 10 seconds approximately.

Without includes files CFC (functions of the unit) can instantly record or take several minutes.  They contain no sql queries.

I have newly installed DW CS5.5 - old version uninstalled before installation.

PC is Windows 7 Pro, relatively new, 4 GB of ram.

site has more than 300 pages, most of which include a series of common elements for the header, form validation rules, nav, etc...

    I tried things.

Preferences - off enable related files

    Added resolveRemoteURLToIPAddress in the registry

mapped a network at the root of the site of snacks includes were not accessible

mapped a network drive to the directory in which I work

    removed network printers

    deleted the inactive network drives

ensures that the network is live and connected with no problems - not versions of Notepad files will open quickly.

    Antivirus - blocked c: / / program files/adobe tests directory.

OK fixed it, but don't know why. Perhaps one of the gurus can spell it for others.

I created a new SITE on my local pc without files inside c://.../mydocuments/sitename

Then set the connection with the remote server as the mapped drive.  p: / /

and added to the URL for the main site. http://mysite.com

Now I can open the files in the remote server very fast. I can even use files enable associates.

  • Help! Empty file after opening .psd to network drive

I am a technician in a school district and in one of the classrooms, we have Photoshop installed on a Windows 7 SP1 machine CS5.1. Students have their own network for them drive folder to save files.

They are currently working with the paths of work and have several layers when they record their PS project.  When they go to open it to the top, they get an empty white layer that seems locked. We go to the part of paths and it shows in fact that they worked. How do they get to open upwards where the layers are still there? The layers box was checked when they saved and it was recorded as a .psd file.

Any help would be appreciated.  They saved locally on the computer and I don't want to know pretty soon if she registered properly for them.

He is discouraged by Adobe to open/save directly via a network.  I don't know the fact that register directly on the network is involved in what is wrong here, but you have the students of can save their work on the local drive, and then copy the file to the network drive?

Out of curiosity, they use a mapped drive letter or a UNC path?

  • Out of browser-based Airhelp does not open in the network location

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone can help with the following problem:

I want to activate the internal evaluators open my help based on a browser of AIR in a shared network location. Currently, in order to open help, examiners must proceed as follows (which seems quite complicated):

    1. create a folder on their local systems: \Macromedia\Flash Player\ #Security\FlashPlayerTrust.

    2. stick the folder in the file RoboHelp.cfg (containing the network path to my index.html AIR help file).

I derived the steps above to the procedure provided for by http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/RoboHelp/RoboHTML/WS1b49059a33f77726-484da80912ce87f5f33-8000. html

Is there a way to avoid having to do the examiners perform these steps in order to access using AIR on a shared internal network location?

Looks like a very involved process to just check that others in the company can open and test it. Is they do not do this and they click on the index file, it seems that the help opens, but then hangs on a blue and gray box with a progress bar that never moves.

    Thank you!

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for the reply. We use Tech Comm Suite 3 (Robohelp 9). We could continue on the road to examine the content of the PDF, but we need our QA reviewers the opportunity to test the output of Airhelp browser based in different types of browsers. That's why we want to display the files somewhere and give them the opportunity to open them in different browsers.

    Thank you

In this case I might suggest that you find a way to deploy to a web server via a URL that is not published. Just provide the URL to your testers.

    See you soon... Rick

  • Handbrake approx. of teacher Tube - is - it safe to open?

I just signed up for the "teacher" Tube I am a new teacher and it would give me the opportunity to have my own website where I can post my own video content and allow my students to blog, and parents can communicate with me. I googled in the classroom through work, and I have a PC that I could put this whole thing (teacher Tube) on. Teacher tube has an App called "hand brake". They say that they cannot play or incorporate several different types of multimedia without this "hand brake". What are your thoughts? Should I just use the school issued PC to use this application? (So do not expose my MAC to any type of situation like this. The site owner says he was an officer, years ago and wanted to launch this site for teachers in order to make their own video content on the site. I am familiar with the concept of "Unsigned Applications" by the developers of the unknown

, and that the best is still using the apple store, or iTunes only. If this guy was so tedious on what is an educational site, his idea of a 'gift to teachers', and it has 1.5 million users, why he can't get his signed app? It has something to do with Open Source or Creative Commons? I find it a little disturbing and just because he says good sound, does not mean that I will run and download this app. However, if he is right, I will miss out on a lot of content and not being able to integrate Flikr and several others. In addition, he said, we can only buy it safely on its site. Any other copy would be suspect. What should I do?

    Thank you

    MarieSanJose

If it is the handbrake you talk, you might as well get it directly from here: https://handbrake.fr

What I don't understand, are the references to coating... HandBrake is essentially a video transcoder. It converts the video from one type to another, nothing else. You'll probably need to download the video in the correct format.

BTW: I don't see any risk when uploading handbrake. He has a good reputation.

  • Is BrowseFox.a you? a safe to open vision

A window pops up asking to be allowed and said that BrowseFox.a is the editor. Is - it legitimate or I invite a virus? I was about to click on troubleshooting information automatically add (below), but stop Firefox (you?). I do not understand because I thought I was on the site of Firefox/Mozilla. Please explain. Thank you

Hello powderdrive, this sound like a piece of unwanted software or adware and certainly is not connected to mozilla. so please do not open this program everywhere where she offers herself to you!

I also recommend to run a scan with security tools on adware and browser hijackers as the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to ensure that adware is not present in other parts of your system as well.

  • is it possible and safe to open the registry of Windows 98 into XP RegEdit on a system dual boot?

I have reinstall some stuff on the side of a system XP dual boot, I found the instructions to transfer the configuration to a new machine, and these instructions include export the registry keys to a .reg file. Is there a way I can save myself a few reboots if I find more like that and you open the registry of Windows 98 on drive C with Regedit in XP?

If necessary, I can easily access the regedit win98 since Windows 98 program is on drive C and XP on the D. I don't want to corrupt the registry win98se, if I try to open it under XP.

    The procedure would be

Open the registry of Windows 98SE.
Export the key to a .reg file
    Close the damper of win98.
copy the key in the .reg file in the registry of xp in the normal way.

    SlickRCBD salvation,

Unfortunately you cannot open regedit (registry editor) for the operating system Windows 98 to computer of Windows XP that you will not be able to access the same. You must start the operating system to access its registry settings.

Note: Microsoft does not have the responsibility to transfer the registry settings of the operating system to another. Op can do on its own risk.

    Hi teez417,

I would be happy to inform you that the security features in Windows 7 are more compared to earlier versions of Windows. If you trust the gaming site and had no problems with it before, then you can download it to your computer.

If the DEP is annoying you with these guests, you can change the settings by following this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-Data-Execution-Prevention-settings

  • Why my emails do not open when I'm selecting them to remove them?

Use Ctrl to select several emails so that I can remove them then, they then all open! I don't want to open them, I want to just delete them?

If it you freaks out for them to appear in the Message pane when you do this, press F8 to turn off the message pane when deleting in bulk. Not that there is a reason to panic, but it is an option for those of you that do.
Press F8 to toggle the message pane when the lane is free, and you feel safe again.
