DeskJet impossible 3070 wireless printing scanning or eprint

Hello, I'm a Mac OS 10.7 with a Deskjet 3070 b611 series [7CB640].

I am using CABLE and

Encryption WPA2 Personal

I feel wireless and scanning previously, that a month or two ago I got a new router, with a SSID being different to the previous one.  I'm now trying to get printing to work with the new router.    CISCO - modem/wireless router, DPQ3925

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times.  I can print the Wi - Fi connection test and it looks good, I can print the network configuration page and it seems fine.

When I print from my PC it it just hangs there saying 'connecting to the printer' but never actually print anything either or ends.

"When I press the 'eprint' and he tries to set up the automatic update, I get a message that says" the printer could not connect to the internet.  I also have problems with scanning - doesn't work at all, but as fate would be the first impression if you can help I would be very grateful.  I've been playing with this for almost two days now.

I tried a lot of things I found in the forum, when I type the ip address of the printer in the browser, it cannot connect to it.  192.168.2.245 so I can't go this way of solution for the problem of eprint.

I have also completed the steps in the post on APple mac printing problems debugging, nothing helps.

Hi AJHHP,

I'm sorry to hear that you ran difficulties printing to your Deskjet 3070 since installing a new modem/router.

I've included a link to the HP wireless printing Center.  I went to the section about "replacement of your wireless router. It gives you the steps to follow when you change your router.

  • DeskJet 2546 b: Wireless print job stays in queue and poster printer offline after the upgrade to Windows 10

I write a fix I found for a pretty annoying problem involving 10 Windows and HP wireless printers.

My Deskjet 2546-b printer was printing OK wireless to the point 8.1 of Windows until that I upgraded my computer to Windows 10. Immediately after I upgraded to Windows 10, I could not scan, so I reinstalled the printer software and has worked for a day or two and then the printer would print not unless I restarted the printer or the computer - sometimes 2 or 3 times. This went on for a few weeks, sometimes it would be nice, sometimes, usually after the computer restarts, he would simply go offline. Once, he went offline 3 times when I was printing about 20 postage labels, recently he went 1 week without any problems.

Long story short, after a lot of troubleshooting and to help a friend to HP, I found the problem to be associated with the WSD/service Port in Windows 10. My printer still maintains a stable connection with my Netgear router (wireless to the printer light stays on blue) and I was able to scan from the HP software and I could ping the printer... but printing would be just stuck in the print queue (the spooler service) and the printer showed offline in the queue, hardware and windows devices , or when printing from a program like Windows.

I learned that if I went in devices and printers, until I sent a print job, if the printer showed offline, I could save time by restarting the printer simply and he would come every time (less painful) online.

But it's just a solution and not a solution.

Nothing worked... not even print and scan doctor. The final fix that worked was to define an IP address manually for the printer, and then I put the print driver to use a standard TCP/IP port.

Here is the step by step. Your printer must already be connected to your network (solid blue on printer).

Step 1: Make sure your printer uses a manual IP address

    (1) to obtain the IP address of your printer:

    • If your printer has a control panel with a menu, it's easy... Just look in the settings menu without wire/report and write your printer IPv4 address.
    • If your printer is not a menu of fancy and repower the computer and printer HP Print and Scan Doctor network menu display use (wireless), or you can connect to your router from a web browser (usually 192.168.1.1) and look at attached IPs (like me). Some printers can also print a report of the network when you hold down some buttons everything back up and running, but you will need to search the web site of the Internet or HP to find the process for your printer model - the report displays the IP Address of the printer.

    (2) once you have the IP address of the printer number, type this information in a web browser... like 192.168.1.x (where x is the last number of your printer)

Web page of the printer should find - otherwise, use another browser (you can use a tablet or iPad if you want). HP has several different forms of printing of web pages (embedded web servers) depending on your printer model, but they all have a large number of parameters.

    (3) since the network tab or section, look for a manual IP address configuration.

    (4) suggest an IP address or type in a new.  I've personally used suggest and then replaced by the last number 241. You want to use a high number, something in the order of 240 to 250 to reduce the risk of problems caused by your router assign this number to something else on your network. Note the 4 digits for the new IP address manual, you will use them later.

    5) click apply and close the web page of the printer.

Step 2: Make the print driver using the manual IP address of the printer

Open the devices and printers in Windows, right click on your printing device and select printer properties. Follow the prompts to get the WSD port and on a new local port...

    1) click on the ports tab.

    (2) add the Port.

    (3) click on after the first screen, and then click new port type.

    (4) enter the IP address of the printer.

    (5) next.

    (6) select the new port.

    7) click OK.

You have now two pilots displayed in the printers and devices window, you can now print... but you might not be able to scan and the HP printing software may not work as he might want to lets you add a new printer when you open it... If Yes, proceed to step 3.

Step 3: Remove print devices and install a new one.

Need to do this to get the software back HP synchronized so you can scan.

    (1) right click 2 print devices listed in the window of your printer and remove them by clicking on remove device.

    (2) open the HP printer Assistant software (from the icon on the desktop or you can search Windows by using the name of your printer).

    (3) installation/add a new printer... go fast and a new device icon is added to the printers and devices window.

    4) return to the printers and devices window and open the properties of the printer again for your printer icon.

    5) go to the ports tab (yet) and you'll see a new selected WSD port, select Port Standard, you created earlier in step 2.

    (6) you have now two print devices in the window (again), but now everything should work.

These two devices alone from here on out. Do not remove one and everything should work fine. At least it worked for me. I hope it works for you. I'm hoping a Windows update resolves this problem soon, I see many people who cannot print or scan wireless after they upgraded - not just the stuff of HP.

  • HP Envy 4502: Wireless printing/scanning issues

    Hello

I brought a new printer two weeks ago, it is a HP Envy 4502. It works very well and I have no real problem. I set up and connected to my wireless router to be able to print and scan wireless.

There is a slight problem, when I turned on my printer it connects but when I try to print or scan, that he says that he can not connected, but on my printer there is a blue light to show that it is connected to the network. When this happens, I keep looking for networks again, re - connect to our, and then type the password and then when I go to scan or print it works fine. But I have to keep doing this. I put it up to our router and it connects very well... but it won't scan or print... I have to re - enter our password to get the printer to print or scan.

    Any guys help?

    Hello @Diana90!

Thanks for getting back to me so fast!

With the additional information that you have provided I'm sure I know what the problem is.

Your printer is not like your computer, in the sense that it will not re - connect to your network automatically once it has lost connection. The printer technology isn't quite as sophisticated. The printer will be held right on the wireless settings that you entered and assume that it is still connected. If you disable the router off, the printer is always kept on the parameters he used before. He will not ask a new IP address once the router is switched on again.

I hope that all makes sense.

The good news is, you can solve the problem by simply turning off your printer front to turn off the router, and give then the router all the time needed for a start back up when you turn it on, before you turn on the printer.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks again for posting!

  • Setting up Deskjet 6988 for wireless printing after a reset to the factory settings, using Mac OS 10.8

Hi - How re - connect to my printer wirelessly after a reset to the factory settings? I use Mac OS 10.8. The network on the printer flashes, and on the Mac, it is listed as "not connected". And the page of report confirms that he has lost all of its data.

Fortunately, I made a report page before resetting, so I think that I know all of the critical information, I need to come back here, but I can't figure out how to do this.

I read the installation guide, who said to use an ethernet cable and the CD of HP, but I don't have the CD anymore.

I tried an ethernet cable and entering the IP address of the printer, but which did not, perhaps because it has more this IP address.

I tried the steps hereand downloaded the latest version of the HP update software software, but I don't see my printer. I went from my wifi to hpsetup network and then I could see and add a second new instance of my printer, but it did not help, because this second instance of the printer is not connected or the other.

Interestingly, when I am connected to hpsetup, I can print.

Can someone help me to re - connect this printer? I'll save the reason for reset for another post!

    Thank you very much!

FIXED! Sunshyne2005, thanks a lot to direct me to the solution!

    Here's what worked:

    1. Connect to hdsetup
    2. Press the report Page button on the printer (the one with the box)
    3. Continue with step 3 of the Sunshyne2005: open a browser and enter the IP address of hdsetup.
    4. Look around for the wireless configuration wizard (sorry, I can't access is no longer hdsetup, and I just don't remember where it is)
    5. Enter the SSID (name) of the wireless network and the password
    6. Note: You will see a button to finish, but it has no effect. At this point, the printer is successfully added to the wireless network and access the hdsetup disappears. Therefore, the wizard will no longer work, but the important thing is that the printer is connected. : )

    Thanks again, Sunshyne2005!

    Hello

    Based on its specifications:

    No, it has only:

    Connectivity

There are few options but can be more expensive than buying a new AIO printer and can also get a big headache.

Hello Moor_lady, if you are using Windows 7, you can try to reset your printer wireless.

Go to control panel of configuration, devices, and printer and in the menu bar above, select Add a printer in the lower option, select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

There should be another window that shows all available printers to be added. See if your wireless network printer can be found. If so, select this option and continue the process.

  • HP Deskjet 3050 (J610a) won't scan - printer not found

This fine all worked until I had to get a new router and I can scan after you have reinstalled the HP 3050 wireless printer is no longer on my computer. It is worth noting that on my other computer, there has been properly installed on Vista and I can scan and print normally.

When I click on the scanning software HP on the desktop or in the program menu it shows an error window saying "HP Deskjet 3050 J610 series is not found"

I ran the HP scan diagnostic software and he said just that no scanner are installed. But I installed the software from the CD, I did the first time I got the printer and I did something different this time when I changed the router then why didn't he scan?

    Can anyone help?

    All sorted.

The problem was that I had installed the drivers of BASE and not the FULL software.

    Silly me!

But it could help other users in the future. Uninstall, and then download and install the FULL software and everything should work fine.

  • HP Deskjet 3522 connected wireless but windows 7/8 can't find the printer

First day, I installed and updated the printer and the software and it worked perfectly, I could print wireless and email with eprint and print it out.

The day after the computer could not detect the printer,

    Here is what I tried:

    • I tried to uninstall the printer and install again
    • factory reset
    • connect with WPS
    • installed with usb, and then try again to convert wireless
    • I set up the connection manually and also for the software settings to automatically
    • I tried the scan doctor
    • I tried with another computer
    • reset the router.

and nothing has worked. The printer indicates that it is connected, the only thing I can do, is that it works with the usb and send emails to the printer, then it might print "wireless".

Hi alex-86. A hard reset is accomplished simply by unplugging the printer while it is on and then with 30 - ish and plug again. I'm not sure that this will solve the problem that you are familiar with. If she works initially then stopped, you can consider power cycling your router as well.

It is a fairly comprehensive list of measures you should get back up and running. Let me know how it goes.

  • HP 4500 wireless printer: printer all-in-one cannot scan glass

My hp 4500 wireless printer worked fine until it just stopped printing.  I reintstalled the original installation disk and printing has been repaired.  However, the desktop icon for the hp Solution Center, which allows scanning of computer files, has not been activated, and accordingly, I am unable to scan from glass.

New driver from HP site could not install completely and still have the same problem.  I tried to reinstall the existing drive, and it is still able to print, but still can not sweep.  The desktop icon is always off.  Didn't test the fax.

I have here an updated driver that contains the implementation complete for the 4500 Wireless: G510n-z

My system is Windows 7 64 bit.

    Please answer.

    Hello @rudetom,

I would like to see if I can help you get your Officejet 4500 Wireless software working again.

Looks like pieces of old software is causing the installation to fail. I would like to clean at the far (unisntall) and try again.

When you have uninstalled the printer software, it is possible that pieces of it may remain which could interfere with a reinstall. I recommend referencing the steps described in this document to make sure that you haven't missed anything whatsoever; Uninstalling the printer software. * If you are connected with a USB cable, be sure to unplug it.

You can also delete files using disk cleanup - take care to put check marks in selection boxes when it is available.

Software drivers can hide other places would be in your device manager.

    To open Device Manager:
' 1) click on start (Windows icon) and enter the Device Manager "in the search field.
    2) click on Device Manager.
    (3) you can click on View, in the upper windows and then show hidden devices.
    (4) to develop the types of devices and check for any pilot associated with your printer.
    (5) to remove a device from Device Manager, right click on the device name in the list and then click on uninstall.

For more information, see device for Windows 7 Manager information.

Once you have removed everything, I restart your computer and then try to download the new software again to HP Officejet 4500 Wireless - G510n full feature software and driver.

If you still have problems, please let me know what kind of error you get and how your printer is connected to your computer. What is direct installation USB or wireless?

Please let me know if any of these steps has resolved your problem, or if there is anything else I can do to help.

I look forward to hear from you!

    Thank you

  • HP Deskjet 6310 all in one: Deskjet HP 6310 all in one wireless printing functions

I have a HP Deskjet 6310 printer all-in-one and want to know if this printer has wireless capability (i.e., can this printer receive orders for wireless printing)?   (Note, I have a new MacBook Air wireless with send feature).

    @NickC3

    Your printer:

All-in-one printer, HP Officejet 6310 range

The printer specifications indicate the printer works with 2 USB, a wired Ethernet connection and - with an adapter - with Bluetooth to be printed.

    Thibault system requirements:

    • USB 2.0 full speed, front and back ports
  • HP Deskjet 1010: HP Deskjet 1010 incomplete printing - best example - on Print & Scan Doctor

On the test page for the doctor of printing & scanning HP, the text at the top is not readable, it's so light (a turquoise? color). Below the color test of the band on this page, on the edge of the test of the line, the lines are very light (light turquooise?) at the edge of the left and right margin.  (I'm not surré is something else isn't visible which should be.)  For print-out page alignment, all lines except two (series D and series I) are not printed as well as printed sheet is completely unnecessary to complete the answer to the question sheet.

I had used (same model HP Deskjet 1010) until he developed the problem described above. Thinking it was a printer problem, I replaced the existing printer with a brand new HP Deskjet 1010 (same model), I bought for a long time as a backup replacement printer.  I found out even with the new printer, I had the same problem as the previous printer.

(I also have a HP PSC that prints very well without any problem).

    Welcome @casey-CA,

Thanks to their participation in Forums of HP! I see by your post that the black does not print correctly. Please provide detailed information of all that. I will definitely do my best to help you.

Do you use the same cartridges for the printer on the other?

I would try the steps listed in this document, they should help to solve this problem: the problems of quality Print to the HP Deskjet 1010 and series printer Deskjet Ink Advantage 1010

If you are still having the same problem of printing print Diagnostics page then it would be a hardware problem and not software related. Let me know the results.

  • The HP DeskJet F4480 is set up for wireless printing?

    Hello

When I bought my F4480, I thought it was a wireless printer.  I currently have a desktop Mac Power PC G4 running Tiger (10.4.11) and a computer laptop windows XP Pro running. The printer is connected via USB to a Mac, and I tried to set up printing wireless on the laptop. After several hours of trying, googling and looking for the manual, I finally decided to post here.

Question 1 can we do? (if the answer is no, then "thank you" and I'll be on my way...)

Question 2 in the affirmative and who have already installed the necessary drivers on my laptop, what is the next step?

Sorry to be such a fool. Thanks in advance.

Series F4400 (including your part done F4480) has USB connectivity only.  The series F4500 has USB and wireless.

But, with the printer connected to your Mac, you can share printing works (but not scan) between the computers on your network.  To do this download and install Hello for Windows for your XP from here.  If your XP already has a version of Hello (installed by iTunes), uninstall before installing this version.

Run it and it will find the printer connected to your Mac.  Make sure that your Mac is enabled and that it is set to never sleep (System Preferences > energy saver).
