Is it T410, T410i?

Hello

I would buy T410, because I does not support 16:9 ration in T420. The thing is that I'm confused by marking of portable computers in some stores. Exactly the same configuration, only one shop said it's T410 and another says it's T410i. Furthermore, I have really no idea about the differences, even I've read already about this already. Someone would be able to explain to me what are the major sections of the T410, T410i or possibly say if either T410, T410i. Take a look at this: http://www.h-online.com/priceinsight/eu/a586481.html. It is my favorite.

Thank you very much.

I hope it's not too late to answer here...

the T410i is a base model, no middleman.   the "i" designation is given to models shipped with an Intel Core i3 or i5 low-end processor.   previous generation systems, X201i T410i, T410si and T510i, models that come with i3 or i5 processors lower range rather than the superior i5 or i7 offerings there.

the model that you have linked on h-online has a Core i7 processor and is therefore a standard rather than a T410i T410.   the list of the dealer is correct.

  • New T410 - what happens if I do not get webcam and bluetooth?

I bought a new T410i and I chose to do not to get the webcam and bluetooth. I was wondering:

    (1) if I don't have the webcam, there will now be a useless slit / hole at the top of my LCD screen where the webcam shouldve been?

    (2) I also don't have bluetooth. The middle light will now be useless? Also is there anything that is unnecessary as a result? for example, one of my FN keys (F5?) and is there a bluetooth radio physical switch that is useless?

I'm a design nut, and these things upset me.

    Hi echelon6,

    Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.

Interesting concern you have there. Here is a photo that I took on my T410 with webcam and my colleague who doesn't have a webcam

    Without Webcam

    With Webcam

So basically it looks that the holder of the 'webcam' is replaced by a space 'Council' or of some sort.

Regarding the Bluetooth, I'm not sure that I have not a non Bluetooth T410 at the office. It should be a light indicator. (Not sure)

FN + F5 will continue to operate as it also controls the WLAN and physical switch works just as well cause it also controls the WLAN.

    I hope this helps.

  • Automatic startup on t410 problem

We have recently implemented a citrix VDI in a server of the box and have created several virtual machines. The virtual machine is running without problems.

To connect to the virtual machine, we use hp smart client type t410. These seem to work when "logon" is pressed manually on the citrix receiver well.

Some clients are however, simply lie being "spectators". This means that there is no mouse or keyboard connected. So what I need is the client lightweight hp smart to connect to the virtual machine automatically.

In the hp customer profile, there is an option 'autostart' under the root/ConnectionType/xen/connections / [ID] /. But when I set this option to 1, the client tries to start the virtual machine (he says that the virtual machine load), but shortly after, it seems that citrix receiver is blocked (I see the HP logo and citrix receiver is back on the login page).

I tried a lot of combinations of registry settings, but none seems not to work. Also the autostart parameter accepts values from 0 to 5, but it says anywhere what is the difference between 1 and 5. Could I be on? Should I go home from another angle? Maybe it's a known bug in the hp receiver client or citrix?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Apparently the problems were caused by the autoLaunchSingleApp parameter (although I'm not sure why).

By using the following parameters does autoStart works correctly:

    autoLauncheSingleApp = 0

    autoStartDesktop = 1

    autoStart = 1

Also set the domain and credentials are required.

(all the above mentioned are under the root/ConnectionType/xen/connections / [ID] /)

  • T410 Win7 OEM SLP license invalid after installing a helmet

    Hi people,

After you have installed a Logitech headset on my Win7 T410 (2577 AF8) the machine wanted a surprising reboot.

After this restart, my windows license was declared invalid (error 0xC004F032).

Since this is an OEM SLP, I am quite sure, when I ask Microsoft, they say "ask to Lenovo.

Unfortunately, the box won't install the restore points... :-(

    Tips are greatly appreciated.

    Concerning

    Umbertones

No, they OEM keys are stored in a table in the BIOS and called only for the OEM media installation. If your system has been initially delivered Lenovo with Win 7 then it should also have a Windows COA sticker stuck on the basis or under the battery. If you do not see a COA sticker and then removed or the system was never delivered with a Windows license. In the latter scenario, the BIOS would not be programmed with a SLICE table containing OEM keys. Because you bought used, it is impossible to say why your system is the way it is currently.

Valid licenses almost never fall activation. What you described is logical given that the key entered originally was for a different system. Install a driver must have been enough to trigger a 'home' event to check activation. I'm surprised that it took two years. It's a lot of time!

Assuming that the system you're talking about here is the AF8-2537, you might try to get my hands on the original recovery Lenovo T410 Win 7 Pro's media. It looks like this model in particular originally comes with Win 7 Pro and so should operate using the original media. You will lose all your data and have to start over, however, so don't forget to back up data and important parameters.

  • Incredibly slow T410i

I have a T410i moved so slow that it is unbeleivable.

As I thought that the HARD drive should be the default, I bought a Samsung SSD to replace.

Windows 7 has been installed from scratch, but to no will.

After spending a few days in applying Updtaes Windows to a State perfectly updated, it takes about 30 seconds to open a file browser. When you click on the download library from within File Explorer, it changes of legend to libraries (not responding) and shows the rotating replacement for an hourglass. Then he sits down for 5-10 minutes and then it finally shows the folder that contains a file (!).

It don't crash and ultimately made it work, but instead of 2.2 GHz, it feels more like the processor is synchronizing the same pace as my aging heart.

    Any suggestions?

  • T410 does not connect to the docking station

I have a Lenovo T410 and a docking station 4338. When I tried to join the computer to the docking station last night, he would not go. I don't see any obstruction or something wrong with the plug on each unit; the computer can't accumulate up as before.

I have another station host I can try, which should help to determine which device is the problem, but I won't have access to him until next week.

Have someone has encountered a problem like this? Any suggestions to correct?

I compared the two docking stations and identified the problem. There are two plastic hooks built into the base, one to the right of the connector, one left and below. In a station works correctly these hooks are discarded because the computer is inserted, then spring back, now in place.

On my post of malfunction the hooks were stuck, prevent the computer from insertion.

I was able to fix the problem by pushing hooks with my finger, which take them off. If they stick once again I can try a Lube graphite.

  • When to consider the new battery T410i - CTO

    Hi all

I wonder if you could give me some advice. My T410i battery is about 3 years old and has 702 cycles on it. She still felt up to 96% of the manufacturing capacity and I can get 2 hours of operation on this subject. Power Manager says he is in good condition. When should I consider buying a replacement. Age of batteries or cycle limited?

    Thanks in advance! dr0800.

Your start battery capacity drops significantly, or its state changes to yellow/red, the replacement must be sought.

    Hello, mgomes021

On your laptop network card drivers do not work correctly a reason any, or wired Ethernet or the wireless. It is the main cause of the connection problem. I guess an other laptop drivers needs are not installed.

Launch application ThinkVantage System Update on the support site, it will find the drivers and updates for your laptop, let application to download and install those at least critically.
