issue big white blocks

I looked at some posts that were made at the end of May and July on those infernal white blocks. Some responses referred to a fix coming from Adobe and a likely difficulty of AMD. These corrections have been made? I have a new computer with the processor Skylake, 16 GB of memory and a graphics card than R 390. I'm so happy to have spent that much on a card and then turn it off.

This big white point has just appeared this morning on my 65x850D XBR. TV is only 2 months old. I called Sony support and they will not fix it. They said it must be greater than 100 pixels. So apparently I spent 2 grand on a TV and got a nice white point to go with it. Awesome SONY, good job!

  • Why a big white box appears on my desktop, using Windows 7, after going on the Internet?

I have a brand new PC running Windows 7.  After that all three times I use the Internet, I get a big white box on my desk that simply will not disappear (the white box is visible once IE is closed).  After the computer restarts, it disappears but it always comes back.  One small thing that works is by clicking at the bottom right of the screen.  There's a small rectangle down there, and when I click it, the white box disappears.  If I click on the rectangle, again, white box comes back.  It is not prevent all functions, but its really annoying, especially on a brand new computer. Any info would be great!

    Hi dmbfan,

From what I understand I think it's a page of Internet Explorer (IE) that does not close properly. I suggest you run Internet Explorer mode without modules and see if the problem repeats.

    Follow the steps to do the same;

Step 1: Run Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode

Add-on Internet Explorer, such as ActiveX controls and browser toolbars, are used by some Web sites to provide a better browsing experience. An error may occur if an add-on is damaged or if an add-on conflicts with Internet Explorer. To determine if the error is caused by an add-on, run Internet Explorer in "no Add-ons" mode To do this, follow these steps:

    1) click Start and type Internet Explorer in the box to start the search.
    2) click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). Internet Explorer opens without Add-ons, toolbars, or plug-ins.
    (3) test Internet Explorer to verify that it works correctly.

If the problem does not persist in no add-on mode so you can follow the steps below to use the Manage Add-ons to determine which add-on is causing the problem

Step 2: Use the tool of management of Add-ons in Internet Explorer to individually disable each add-on to determine which add-on is causing errors. To do this, follow these steps:

    Internet explore 8

    1. open Internet Explorer 8.
    2. click on tools and then click on Manage Add-ons.
    3. in the drop-down view menu, select all add-ons to display all the modules that are installed on the computer.
    4. for each element in this list, select the add-on, and then click Disable in the information window.
    5. When you have disabled all the items in this list, click OK.
    6. exit and then restart Internet Explorer.
    7. If the problems do not recur, repeat steps 1 to 3.
    8. click on activate for a simple add-on.
    9. Repeat steps 6 through 8 until you determine which add-on causes errors occur.

After you have used this process to determine which add-on causes errors, you can disable this add-on. Or, you can uninstall the software that installs the add-on. We also recommend that you contact the software vendor that provided the add-on for additional troubleshooting and support.

  • After that I did a lot of renaming all my pictures are a white block! Help, please

I made a batch in bridge renaming and all my photos jpeg, transformed into a white block, pictures are gone, PS, or bridge to recognize the file. That's happened?

I also had a file PSD of each photo that still shows the photo in the bridge, but not open, it says that it does not recognize the file.

I choose the option to keep the original name and the extension.

I tried to rename and change the file. ext, but it does not help.

    Any thoughts?

It seems that you have more then one point or several extensions in the name of the file.

But perhaps a screenshot of your content with names window would clarify a bit more.

In general, you should use only a point in a file name and it's the one at the end of the file name (for a jpeg file that would mean ".jpg").

Just select a file in the window content and with right click of the mouse, choose duplicate. This provides a double with the addition of copy file after the name of the file and before the extension. Just select the full domain and type: test.jpg and then try again.

  • Big black and white blocks (not in the work) cover the document. PS CC 2014 (updated)

This is a glitch that is consistent across all types of files. Reposition blocks (but do not disappear) when you adjust the zoom percentage. Any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a graphics card problem, or a graphics driver issue.   Check the driver for your card is first updated.  If it is day, it is probably a hardware problem.

  • White text "BOLD" on the issues of color block?

    Hello world

This may seem like a simple question, but I have problems creating a PDF document that contains the "BOLD" white text on colored blocks? Surprisingly, plain white text (normal text with paper as a character Style color) print on a block of dark color. But the problem occurs with the bold or bold italic (just character style "BOLD" thing). Really do anything "BOLD". Now, if I save it in jpeg format, then everything prints fine. My document is in mode overlay that lists problems related to the characters of the white text on colored blocks. By default, all white color have overprinting uncheck and grayed out. So, I'm unable to handle it.

Any ideas on how I can get the white text "BOLD" (character Style) to print to a PDF file instead of create JPEGs of each document and then bring them together into a PDF file?

Thanks for any help. Happy holidays.

OK, so he put for overprinting in some way. It is VERY difficult to achieve in the ID, but it is easy to import the white text in Illustrator which is set to overprint. The only way that I know so he can get to text ID native, is however effects or blending modes, self check the effects Panel...

  • White box appears around my boss, big white box?

    Hello

I have a model to simulate a Heath look. It uses some effects. The box itself is selected very well when cut, but when I drag in the color chart, a white box surrounds, so that appears when I try to fill the patters. It is not a small advantage, it's big enough. I tried to develop, pixelation, a box about the size of the initial motif and divide objects below, or use the pathfinder to crop, but nothing works.

Did someone already had this problem, anyone know yet why the white box surrounds?

Here's a preview when I select it with the selection tool. You can see he is going to the correct edge, but look at the shade it creates in the swatch palette, it is white boarder.

You can try the effects of rasterization of the Document settings

But if it's still your problem of pattern: put a rectangle that defines repetition with no filling/no stroking under the ground and then drag in the color chart

  • issue of white macbook

I have about 40 old white MacBook about 5-7 years (not sure).  During Thanksgiving weekend, 2 of them had something to do where an article has increased in size to the point where the pavement jumped out of his position.  I don't know what's under the pavement, but would like to know what could be the cause.  I plan to take off the back to watch.  They were not connected in charge, but just sitting on a table.  Risk of explosion or fire?  Someone else has similar things happen like that?

It would be the battery swells. You should get looked at them immediately before the swelling causes irreparable physical damage.

The defective batteries must be disposed of as soon as possible. The swelling is a very common failure mode. If the MacBook were not so old, the batteries have been replaced under an extended warranty with Apple.

  • Issue of white background

I adjusted inadvertently of my motorcycle G so that the smartphone Office now has a white background, and pictures on the phone without color. I've included a screenshot of the desktop, smartphone and a sample of photography affected as an attachment to the subject of the question.

Thanks for tips on how to address the dark G motorcycle on the smartphone desktop and how to restore the color to the color photographs.

also, look for the settings-> accessibility-> color inversion - that may be the cause.

    Hello

    I have a desktop HP new-1334 - AMD E1 - p2 1200 Vision. Packed with Windows 8 x 64.

I want to install Linux distribution: Ubuntu 13.04 on it.

Problem: [I get a menu of text mode Linux distro who ask me if I want to install, after you have selected for installation, the screen goes black and white and the key NumLock on and finally the PC light crashes, no more stocks or noises]

    The steps I did:

    Changes to the BIOS:

-Boot order (to start from a CD or USB drive)

    -Option of secure boot disabled

    Result [Fail]

    Windows 8

    Consultation: changing PC settings

Selected to restart from a CD or USB drive > advance option settings

    Result [Fail]

I love Windows 8 and I also like Linux distributions.

Is there something on the new machines that have prohibited the Linux operating systems to be installed on them?

Linux distributions are Malware within the new UEFI standard?

How can I fix the vacuum/locking PC screen to install Linux on the PC?

    Thank you.

    Thank you for everything.

I managed to install Ubuntu 13.04 on my new desktop PC.

Very difficult and even rewarding that I did.

Please use an image on the screen of the BIOS on the Secure Boot.

It wasn't the only problem that I needed difficulty. I will try to cover all the steps that I did.

    1. I used a disc external HARD with an old encrypted installation of Ubuntu 13.04

2 - Ran the Ubuntu live cd and then invite them to try a regular install

    3 quit Setup

4 - Ubuntu Live CD to return to one an essay on operating system

5 took the Gparted program (to format HARD drive and partition of creation)

6 deleted all data from this external HARD disk (unmounted partitions encrypted and then erased)

7 created the linux partitions. ext4 - labeled root

8 - start the installation from the live cd

9 chose to install Linux alongside Windows 8 (installation of Ubuntu on the external USB hard drive)

    10. it worked. Jay!

Of course prior to all the steps that I had to intervene with this BIOS configuration:

    Before installing:

    1 - disabled secure boot

    2 - legacy boot: enabled

    3 - fast boot: enabled

    4-boot order (of CD)

    After installation

1 - boot change (from USB HDD) order

Now I get the dual-boot menu.

    Much to inspire but fun!

  • Black and white blocks in PS CC

I thought with the new update, this can be corrected, but it didn't.  I was also told that it is a matter of Adobe because it happens on my IMac and my Mac Book Pro.

    Adobe... any idea?

Currently ACR to PS CC, the latest version.  The blocks to change color depending on whether I'm zoomed in or out and tend to take the image in incredibly small.  Let me know if you need more information.

    Screen Shot 2015-07-19 at 3.02.55 PM.png

Try first uncheck the GPU here and see if you have the same problem when you change the raws in ACR and move in Photoshop.

If this does not work, you can uncheck Photoshop GPU, but try to set the mode of drawing at first base.

  • Get a big white square in the middle of the screen on PS CC

I use PS CC on an old Mac Pro Tower of 9 months. I am getting sporadically the white squares on the screen through images about 100 MB. They disappear when I Zoom in or out, but it is becoming more and more embarrassing. I use totally RAD Plugin and Plugin DXO.

    I've included a screenshot

    Screen Shot 2015-05-30 at 18.44.58 copy.jpg

The last update installed Adobe Camera Raw 9.0 that does not use the GPU acceleration.

    Two ideas.

Go into the camera raw settings and uncheck the option below, or if you do not have a camera covered 9.0, downgrade to 8.8 ACR

Older versions are here: put under Camera Raw for the Mac Look.
