Get a big white square in the middle of the screen on PS CC

I use PS CC on an old Mac Pro Tower of 9 months. I am getting sporadically the white squares on the screen through images about 100 MB. They disappear when I Zoom in or out, but it is becoming more and more embarrassing. I use totally RAD Plugin and Plugin DXO.

I've included a screenshot

Screen Shot 2015-05-30 at 18.44.58 copy.jpg

The last update installed Adobe Camera Raw 9.0 that does not use the GPU acceleration.

Two ideas.

Go into the camera raw settings and uncheck the option below, or if you do not have a camera covered 9.0, downgrade to 8.8 ACR

Older versions are here: put under Camera Raw for the Mac Look.

Try using a regular background with no photo and see if the problem goes away.  There may be a problem with the use of the images on the desktop and I want to exclude.

Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135.  If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article.  Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.

You can get in trouble with your device drivers.  Go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should get updates for your video card and your monitor at least and all the others you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

If the above does not work, there may be a hardware problem with your video card or your monitor (or maybe something else that these two are the most likely suspects) - but let's cross that bridge if we come to it.

I hope this helps. Let me know (and don't forget to tell me what happened when you tried the above in your next reply).

    Good luck!

  • Large white square on the desktop. Help!

Yesterday when I turned on my computer, I have a big white square of white in the middle of my office. I had been updated, clean unused items and uninstall programs is no longer, I use or want.  I did something wrong?

Dell Dimension 3000 Microsoft Windows XP SP3 IE8.

    QH

Start > run > msconfig [Enter]

This will open the System Configuration utility. Look under the Startup tab and find the likely culprit. Uncheck the box next to its name, apply and OK out. You don't need to restart immediately, but next time you do, you will get a dialog box saying that you have used the utility. Just check the box that says in effect, "don't mind to this subject again".

Important - do not use the System Configuration utility to stop the process. Use rather Start > Run > services.msc [Enter] and stop all services unless you really, really know what you're doing.

  • Small white square on the left tab

As you can see in this capture screen http://img543.imageshack.us/i/firefoxo.jpg/ I see a small white square on the right on the left tab and I don't know where it comes from.

You use the FoxTab add-on? If so, disable it. I had the same small white square in the upper right corner of Firefox when I updated to version 4.0 beta, so I disabled my modules one by one to see that it was originally and it turned to be FoxTab. It does not jive well with Firefox 4.0.

Most of them can be fixed with the Checker task tool. The brush can create problems you may need to use the clone tool. If the task is small blur can also be used. Which is kind of how works the filter spot and scratch.

  • Qosmio G30 - white lines on the screen and BSOD

    1. I have a Qosmio G30
2 operating system Windows XP MCE
and I have problem "white lines on the screen ' when windows start to load after that I got the"blue screen of death"and restart the computer.
I try to get back, but unfortunately came with the laptop recovery CD doesn't seem to work...

Whenever I finished to recover I have "windows loading files" and once this is done, it shows me the so-called "blue screen of death"...

    Hello

I m afraid. I have bad news for you ;(
I think you ve you have a problem with the hardware in my eyes, there might be something wrong with the GPU chip.
The white lines on the screen could be related to a faulty graphics card and get the BSOD error due to a hardware malfunction or software serious questions

I m sure that the recovery CD does not contain software problems and therefore only the fault of hardware could be the reason for the lines on the screen and the BSOD.

In my opinion, you should contact the ASP in your country for assistance if all goes well you guarantee is valid.

  • white spots on the screen of the touchpad

I just got a 32 GB touchpad. I noticed that there are some white spots on the screen. One of them near the top left of the screen is very notciable but only on a clear background as white and light gray. The special white spot appears brighter than the background (slightly bluish). It is about 2-3mm in the Center and extends the region approximately 10 mm. Also, anyone notice the same thing?

I would not bother to repair unless the white spots get more over time. I wonder if this is a sign of failure. Thank you.

P.S. shapes of white spots appear similar to these well-known yellow spots on ipad 2.

OK, answered my own question. After some Internet research, I am convinced the white spots (or stains specifically) are "pressure damage. It could have happened during the Assembly process. Some have said that this kind of problem could get worse with time (as one of my LCD monitors). In any case, I discuss with CS and they will repair screen touchpad for me.

It therefore appears as a white light spot when the screen has a light background. On a screen darker it disappears completely. The spot is a few millimetres in size. My system is lenovo Z50-70.

should I have to replace the screen?

as long as you don't have more than three dead pixels, lenovo warranty covers the replacement if they do not change the conditions.

  • Difficulty of the game resolution when its so big to fit on the screen

Original title: How can I fix the game resolution when its so big, it adapts to the screen?
While trying to play games in Windows 8 the resolution of the screen becomes very intense and can see about a quarter of the game screen.  It is not all games, but how do I fix?  I can't even go into the screen resolution options to change because the options option is not visible.  Help, please!

This problem could be related to my other post "Windows 8 read don't no the desktop correctly resolution".

Yes, I'm having a similar problem, but none of my friends are Big Fish games, even if many are games of GOG.  I don't have either all object games hidden...  Some I can fix in...

    1. right click on the game icon
    2. by clicking on the compatibility problems
    3. by clicking on solve program
    4. by clicking on "the program opens, but does not display correctly."
    5. by clicking on "program does not display correctly when selected, the parameters of large-scale police.»

After that it will tell you to test the program... which works usually then.  Unless for some reason, the game remains glitch, same subsequently (e.g. main menu screens do not disappear after you've started a game is something I met.)  The only other issue I have is when the game has a launcher.  As "Magic: The Gathering tactics" or "League of Legends", making it impossible to play these games at all.

If you use photos from your camera and set it as a contact id, it will appear full screen when someone calls you.

Is that where you got your wife photos?

There are no parameters, you just to add the image, and adjust the size, and it will be displayed in full screen.

  • Small white spots on the screen (no pixels dead) of RMB

This week, when I opened my MacBook on the screen, I saw on the white spots screen 12 ". At first, I thought maybe would it be a beat on the screen but a quick wipe down and a thorough inspection of different angles confirmed that it was something else. I closed and turned back RMB. The small bright white spots were persistent, although only perceptible in the middle of a dark background, or when the Sun is reflected on the screen.

Everyone has the same problem or knows what is the best solution for this problem? I don't have a case at Apple yet, because I am in doubt if Apple repair this under warranty on the other I need to get in touch with my insurance company.

It reminds me of all the problems with the Retina on the MacBook Pro screens (you can search "Staingate" in Google). If the MacBook is under warranty, you must make a backup of your data and take it to an Apple Store or dealer, so that you can get your MacBook repaired.
