• Satellite P750 - 02Q 001 - cannot install the Bluetooth and Tuner DVB-T_ATSC Yuan

  I have more than 20 years and the first time ever answer concerning support for the installation of a driver... sheeezz

  Recently bought laptop below and formatting of disk with WIndows 7 ultimate + SP1 (64-bit)

  Australia
  TOSHIBA SATELLITE P750 - PSAY3A - 02Q 001

  Cannot install the latest drivers below (everything worked when bought the laptop):

  -Yuan DVB-T_ATSC Tuner driver (for TV Tuner model only) driver 2.3.3.31 Windows 7 64 - bit 2.9 MB
  -Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba Bluetooth 8.00.06 (T) Windows 7 64-bit 78,08 MB

  * DVB - T Tuner Driver *.
  The EXE file extracted in the temp folder and goes no further.
  The device driver shows "STK7700D" with an exclamation mark against it. See the image below.

  * Bluetooth Driver *.
  First installation install the original driver, then he received close to 50% through the installation (appears to fail to install the components of RF RFBUS).

  Then install attempt fails to go too far (is unable to install the driver at all).

  Third attempt and subsequent attempts to repeat the foregoing in order. Install it just gets to a point and is unable to go any further.

  I tried to disable all Wireless WAN and various other comments and try the install again. Repeats exactly as above!

  Try to extract the exe from another place, not in the temp folder.
  In my case, I created a folder on a second partition (D) and have extracted the exe file in this folder. Can go to the Device Manager, and then can install the driver through the Device Manager.
  Choose the installation procedure advantage and point to the folder that contains the extracted files.

  With regard to the issue of the BT;
  Download the new battery of BT from here:
  http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

  Then clean the registry using the CCleaner.
  This tool is freeware and can be downloaded on several different pages.
  So after cleaning check if you could install new BT of the register stack.

• Qosmio G50 - TV Tuner "not found service.

  I recently bought a model Qosmio G50-420 2 days ago and I tried repeatedly to get the TV up and running, but every time WMC scans for services, there are not found.

  I've updated the drivers from the Toshiba site and I even tried to use MediaPortal but this program is not all 'channels' either... and theres a "indicator signal strength' when trying to put in place channels and it displays nothing with all my devices (tv, fm tuner tuner, etc.).

  I don't live in a rural area... How do I get all services?

  I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit btw.

  Qosmio G50-420 is not known to me are you sure it of a G50-420?
  Check that the labels at the bottom of the unit there are few issues of model.

  As far as I know that some Qosmio G50 models are equipped with the TV tuner, but this isn't the case with all the G50.
  You should check if your G50 has been equipped with TV tuner.

  I bought a g-20 a few weeks ago and from the beginning I had several problems with my laptop. I hope one of you can help me! Moreover, it is the G20 with TV Tuner and things supplied with it...

  (1) I have a pixel on the screen error. As I use the black background its not very nice. does anyone of you have also pixelerrors? or are all your screens ok?

  (2) I would use internal infrared to connect to mobile phone. Unfortunately, there is no driver or whatever installed, so IR does not work?

  (3) I had the problem that when I try to go sleep or hibernation, the system hangs up and stops. I reinstalled the laptop complete with the recovery and understood, that, when the bluetooth driver is installed, this error occurs. Anyone know how to solve the problem that the two works?

  (4) I'm from Switzerland and use cable television. I connected with the laptop and installed MCE channels via the postal code and so on... Well, it scans through all, but actually I have maybe 10 channels work proberly. on about 50 to television. on television, he works all fine, but the same line does not all channels on laptop. is it possible to use other tools to watch television? or scan the frequencies manually, then could I myself check and tune the channels myself? for example, I also use teleclub (identical to the first in Germany) and it should be a signal that is decoded on the wire. but the laptop can't find the channel or its does not work.

I bought this laptop just because of that sort of thing. and it was written anywhere, the tuner can only work with the qosmio player or the IR does not work.

  As Chris said, aren't serious misconduct. You should check the manual which is preinstalled on your laptop exactly. You will find lots of information on IR, Bluetooth, Qosmio Player, etc. I m you will find a description on this issues.

  My question is that, in WINXP PRO, how can I use the TV tuner? Cable antenna and other issues already resolved. When I'm TV button in notebook no reaction. Please help me to use the TV tuner. In the Drivers CD, I installed all the drivers and programs, but still no response.

  Try to set up my computer to watch TV through my internal TV tuner, I managed to set up the image, but never got her.

  I'm afraid that the TV tuner is designed to work with Windows Media Center and I can't imagine that there is a third party applications compatibility issue.

  I'm not an expert but tuner not found message cannot occur without any reason. There seems to be some hardware related issue and has nothing to do with your home.

  If you are 100% sure that everything was ok a few days ago, I recommend you to roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool. Please also check status of TV tuner in Device Manager? Is this all is well?

• FM tuner is missing on my Satellite A300

  I am new to this forum and am stuck on a problem. I bought my Toshiba Satellite A300 laptop about 4 months ago. Its equipped with Windows Vista (32 bit). Its model number is "PSAGCA-0C301N". The specs of this particular model, say it comes with a FM tuner and it came supplied with an antenna of plug-in and it also has a plug on the side RIGHT, where it should be, for this purpose. The specifications of this model are shown on the next page on the Toshiba site:

  Sounds like if you get an ariel, then you should have the fm tuner.

  I have an A300 wile "PSAGCA 09V0N", I see the spec is slightly different, I am not hink toshiba would give you an ariel if you need.

  FM tuner should show on the program the bar just by typing FM in done mine.

  If its conslation if you live in the shadow of the issuer of your property not to miss.

  My question to you all is 'out there', your laptop has come with an antenna/cable intake when you ordered the tuner?  The antenna connector and the cable with my laptop came with circular plugs that look like they would a 'white' circular on the right side of my machine.

  Yes, I have the HDX 18 with tuner and it came with an antenna that plugs into the right hole next to the power connector antenna, and it came with an adapter that you can plug a coaxial cable in also.  I've never heard a computer tv tuner with a built-in antenna.
