Issue of Mic EarPods

Hi guys, this is my first post to any community. Come directly to the question; I just bought all new iPhone 6 64 GB now, during the call when you use EarPods, call receiving party hears all the volume of my voice, the sound transmitted by my microphone EarPods is very low. I also tried the EarPods with other iPhones, but it did not work effectively. It cannot have any dirt or dust like these are new. It is frustrating to buy the new phone and there still some defects. I hope that this issue will have a solution. Waiting for your comments. Thank you very much.

Hi MananMirza,

Looks like you have isolated the problem here to your EarPods supplied with the phone, because the audio from the microphone seems to be choked on multiple devices. Given that info, I would recommend taking them in your local store of have evaluated them:

  • Issue of Mic blackBerry in Z10 Z10

    Hello

For the past 2 years, I Z10, just a few months back, my Z10 mic stop working.  No matter how I used it, be it on speaker or via headphones, the other party can not hear my voice.  Even I tried with Bluetooth problem presist.

I tried to use recorder software just to test my microphone, no no recorded voice.  I did all the other steps as reset, remove the battery and factory reset, nothing works.

I went to a repair shop, they checked and said that it might be the motherboard problem and they cannot fix it.

Long story short, I have just gived upward and the purchased Blackberry break, however, I discovered that it is not as good as my Z10.

In any case one has no solution?

I have to go with the advice of someone who has actually looked at the device on any I could speculate. It seems that the Z10 is reached. Or you can go to another store and get a second opinion.

If you cannot use the jump then you could sell it and get a different model. If you liked the Z10, then you'll love the Z30. I know a lot of people don't like the Z30. My preference now, for what it's worth is the Passport.

But it sounds like the Z10 is done.

  • Siri/Voice SMS/front Mic camera does not

I filed a complaint for this March 12 in an Apple Service Center, but they said mic is stuck can not fix it and already altered sound. I told them the only person use it and no way to alter what I force gave to another authorized service center before. Subsequently called Apple Icarus and filed a complaint it there too, they spoke to the engineer senior service center and said the mic is stuck and it may not cover warranty on hardware. I asked that he be coverable because it is a hardware failure only. They said going to escalate the issue and come back. But force got no response for 3 weeks. Later while I called again they said phone is already altered so that they do not solve the problem and closed the call. The other day itself while talking, I deleted that it is not altered and they spoke to engineer main to the Apple repair center and said will degenerate to issue of Mic only but now they have changed as altered the question and say he used be coverable. And I read many people get this problem and Apple does not give the right solution for this, and many have gotten their phone replaced by a new one (https://discussions.apple.com/message/26903590#26903590, https://discussions.apple.com/message/27685992#27685992, https://discussions.apple.com/message/27734486#27734486,.. .a much more)

Sorry, but since this is a user to user forum, there's nothing we can do on Apple decisions.

I'm afraid, you'll have to pay to get your device fixed by Apple.

    Hello

I want to plug an earpiece/microphone to chat in a Thinkpad T420, but he has a shot.

I read that I can use a splitter to connect two things, but I wonder if it should be a particular type of separator because a normal it will mix just the two signals (right?).

  • CS3 mic - newbie registration issues

    Hello

I have a few questions about the record from a microphone I play a timeline with video in it... like if I do a narrative v.o...

This is the first time I used his Age stuff... and am just setting myself up to start to 'learn' on audio with CS3 re: recording and mixing etc...

so please excuse the simplicity of these questions... I use onboard sound with just stereo spkrs hung and that is a driver for dell 530 realtec

    ---------

    Audio
    Type Realtec ALC888 (7.1 channel)

    -------------

    My notes... the questions and...

When mic on before recording... can hear sound in lft spkr not right...

When the record can be heard in the two spkrs... but with an echo

reading on the two spkrs... ok no echo... sounds good...

about a seconde.5 delay before recording begins actually after hitting the "Play"... How can I synchronize that upward on the timeline with video... just move video far 00.00.00 before registration? maybe move corresponding sequence (if it was a narrative vo for example) to a track separate and far 00.00.00 seconds as its has a chance to become active on record, knock out the microphone with a stick when I go to the 'start of the clip' for synchronization and then make my original?

as you can see I'm making progress for a beginner...

It sounds like (pun intended) you hear a latency, where the echo. Some microphones and more audio cards have latency issues.

    Is mono or stereo microphone?

I always turn off any speaker, when recording through mic and use headphones. There may always be a latency, but it should not intervene.

You y USB mic? Adobe programs often have problems with USB microphones.

If you get a delay of 0.5 seconds, and it's fairly consistent, then maybe add 0.5 sec. Black Video at the beginning of the video, to give you a "rolling start". Once completed, this, simply remove it properly. As I normally start my 02 seconds of Black video footage, I have some time, to do things at speed, before that I even start recording. I do that s 02 for other reasons too - allowing a DVD player lock on my track DD 5.1 Audio SS, so the first few notes is never truncated. You do not DD 5.1 SS, IIRC, so this isn't a necessary review.

    Good luck

  • Satellite L500 - noise Squeak and mic/noise issues

    Hello
I hope you can help with my sound problems!

    I have a Satellite L500 which is 18mth old.

    * Something *.
In March, I had problems with my microphone / sound. If I had my volume of more than 50%, I would get a terrible grinding sound feedback that has been difficult to mute (IE due support on mute a couple of times).

As I got a 2-year warranty, I sent him away and they said they fixed it but is short-lived. The problem came immediately. The only solution I found to have its volume by more than 50% was to completely turn off the microphone.

    * Two problem *.
For the last few weeks I've been to randomly make this top placed, continuous his squealing that occurs usually when I am in public with my laptop in my backpack (annoying!). I have to continue to support on mute for the squeal to stop. Interestingly, my cell phone is cut off when it starts. Sometimes, my phone is hot when it occurs. Is this overheating problem?

All the solutions for both of my sound problems? Should I send it to get my warranty repair? When I argued that it was not fixed the first time, they said Windows is probably corrupt and is not under warranty.

    Thank you!

    Kat

  • Built in mic has stopped working on my Satellite Pro T130

    Dear Forum,

the microphone of my Satellite Pro T130 15F stopped working a couple of days at a time.

    It captures the white noise.
But he responds only to knock on the place where it is located next to the built-in webcam. It does not pick up normal voice or cry out to him...

Can't bring any changes to the software that could influence.

What I've done so far: deleted drivers, installed new, updated all Toshiba Software and downloaded and run all the stuff suggested to this problem.
And of course, it is not set to mute or upgraded to the bottom.

    Still no cure.
    What's next?

    Thanks much adavance.

Hmmm, it makes a static noise? Kinda sounds like hardware related issue
But check the microphone settings in the control panel-> sound-> recording tab
Here, you should see two entries; internal microphone and external microphone port.
The internal microphone must be turned on!

In addition, the internal mic belongs to the webcam. In the assistant webcam-> settings-> audio tab, you can increase the maximum microphone volume.

  • H - 550 d-13 satellite - internal MIC is not installed

    Hello-support team,

I just got this laptop and all (Win7 home 64 bit) has been installed correctly, I would say. But I can't seem to get the active internal mic. I looked online for a solution and reinstalled the latest sounddrivers (ATI and conexant). There is still no sign of the internal microphone. In the specifications (1 × 1.3 Mpix WebCam + mic int.) he is listed with the built-in webcam, so I reinstalled the drivers too. Unsuccessfully :(

Is there some kind of fix for this issue? Thanks in advance...

BTW. I shows "offline and disabled" devices ;)

    > But I can't seem to get the active internal mic.
Can you please explain how do you do this? I mean what application are you using?

You're right about the microphone and web camera. Internal microphone is there, but I put t understand how you want to use. With Skype maybe?

  • My mic has stopped working Windows 7

I have a Sony VAIO VPCCB37FD laptop and have had it for over a year. My microphone worked until about 23:00 last night. After trying to roll back the driver my laptop would not connect me to my account after you start the system and I had to restore to June 5 and which repaired issues microphone for about 10 minutes then mid-sentence he dropped again. There is no update for Realtek High Definition Audio that I don't already have. As much as I want to try to roll back again once I don't want not to restore just to get back on my laptop. The microphone volume it 100, mic is activated, troubleshooting says nothing is wrong, several voice chat services do not recognize my mic and nor will the Windows speech recognition. I have to type in my hands as strong as possible in front of my microphone to get the slightest noise appears. The microphone is integrated with my webcam

    Hello

I apologize for the delay in responding to your request. I think I could provide you with more information on this.

In this issue, the Microphone seems to have some hardware issues. All services needed a microphone are not able to read any input through it. Even after a system restore, the microphone behaves the same. So, at this point, instead of doing another restore on the computer, I suggest you contact your manufacturer support to diagnose hardware problems. It would be more useful.

Here is the link to the Sony Support:

I hope that this information helps you to get the Microphone correctly diagnosed. Write again if you need help with Windows, we will be happy to help!

  • Difficulties internal mic techniques

Ladies and gentlemen I came to you with a problem: my internal microphone work and goes off at times. By which i average is that when I use my mic Skype suddenly stops working.
This problem occurred before and it started to work again temporarily for a short time until recently that I have somehow accidentally bumped or pushed my laptop and it started working, but for some reason when I try to increase the volume to its maximum volume approaching the 60 he starts getting really high fever and I don't really know why. I would like to know if someone could help me with this problem. My laptop is be a Toshiba Satellite C655.
    Thanks for the help.

    Hello

    1. What is the brand and model of the microphone?
    2. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?

    Method 1: Connect a microphone.
I suggest you to connect the external microphone and see if the problem persists.

Method 2: Activation of the Microphone.
    1. connect the microphone to the computer.
2 click Start, all programs, accessories, then tape recorder.
    3. click start recording (the red circle) and speak into the microphone.
4 Recording tab showing a signal detected for the Microphone device

Note: Microphone icon should have checkmark on it.

If there is no checkmark, it means it is disabled. If there is no green mark on micro it never works. To activate the Microphone, right click on Microphone and click Activate. If youdo not not see the Microphone in the list, right click on the white space and select devices see the disabled. Then, you'd see the Microphone. However, if you don't see the green check mark on it, right-click on it and click Activate. Select Microphone and click the Default(If Set as default button is active) value.

If you see the green checkmark on Microphone the Microphone really works.

Method 3: Increase the Microphone sensitivity and non-disabling the Microphone.
    1. Select Microphone and click the properties button.
    Microphone properties: levels tab
    2. adjust the slider to 100% of its range.
If the mute is enabled, click the button mute to reactivate the device. The mute button should show as a blue speaker without any red circle.
    3. If the mute is enabled, click the button mute to reactivate the device. The mute button should show as a blue speaker without any red circle.
    4. If the Microphone Boost is available, set it to + 20.0 dB.
    5. click OK to make the changes.
Now the Microphone should work. To check this open the sound recorder and perform the procedure described in step 1. If the problem persists then it might be a hardware problem with the microphone or a Microphone drivers. Perform the steps below to solve the driver related issues.

Method 4: Use Windows Sound Recorder to test the microphone.

You can use this section to find out if the laptop can record a signal from the

Microphone and play again. Use Windows sound recorder to create an audio file using the following steps:

    1. connect the microphone to the computer.
2 click Start, all programs, accessories, then tape recorder.
    3. click start recording (the red circle) and speak into the microphone.
When you are finished recording, click on stop recording.
    Screen automatically opens.

Type a file name and click Save. A type WAV or WMA file is created in the Documents folder.
If you can record the Audio using the Microphone using the method above then the
Microphone works very well. Now he has to work from any application or Messenger who

Supports the Microphone. If the laptop does not audio using the method above, then it might be a problem with the Microphone settings. Now, check the following settings.

    Method 5: Update sound drivers
    1. connect to the Internet.
    2. click on start and enter the Device Manager in the start search field.
    A Device Manager window opens.
    3. click on the plus sign (+), next to sound, video and game controllers.
    4. right click on the name of the sound material and select software update of the driver...
    5. click on search automatically for a driver updated and wait for Windows to update the driver software.
6 Windows checks a remote Web site to see if the update of the driver software is available.
    ·         If an update is available, let Windows install the update.
    ·         If an update is not available, proceed to the next step.
    7. once the update is successfully installed, test the microphone or line like that was made in step 1.

Come back and let us know the State of the question, I'll be happy to help you. We, at tender Microsoft to excellence.
