My mic has stopped working Windows 7
I have a Sony VAIO VPCCB37FD laptop and have had it for over a year. My microphone worked until about 23:00 last night. After trying to roll back the driver my laptop would not connect me to my account after you start the system and I had to restore to June 5 and which repaired issues microphone for about 10 minutes then mid-sentence he dropped again. There is no update for Realtek High Definition Audio that I don't already have. As much as I want to try to roll back again once I don't want not to restore just to get back on my laptop. The microphone volume it 100, mic is activated, troubleshooting says nothing is wrong, several voice chat services do not recognize my mic and nor will the Windows speech recognition. I have to type in my hands as strong as possible in front of my microphone to get the slightest noise appears. The microphone is integrated with my webcam
Hello
I apologize for the delay in responding to your request. I think I could provide you with more information on this.
In this issue, the Microphone seems to have some hardware issues. All services needed a microphone are not able to read any input through it. Even after a system restore, the microphone behaves the same. So, at this point, instead of doing another restore on the computer, I suggest you contact your manufacturer support to diagnose hardware problems. It would be more useful.
Here is the link to the Sony Support:
I hope that this information helps you to get the Microphone correctly diagnosed. Write again if you need help with Windows, we will be happy to help!

Hello
When I bought this computer (sep-09) everything worked fine. Then in March (I hade it idle for some time), my built in mic has stopped working.
What eles is fina, and I scanned the Web for solutions and tried to install the new drivers, unistall them, all possible boots, disabel and restart, but at most I just get a static sound of my recordings of test.
I use win 7 home pre, but the problems started when I was with Vista. Now, I am of ideas, and my friends on Skype develops enough not to hear me.
Is that what I can do to get the microphone working, or should I buy a headset?
Grateful for help
HugoHi mate
To be honest, I would use a helmet because helmet still provides a better speak of quality.
But the internal MIC is part of the webcam and the microphone is controlled by the software of webcam too.
Please launch the webcam software and go to settings.
Then, choose Audio tab.
Here, you must increase the volume to maximum.Welcome them

Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install

I have "talked" with representatives of both HP and they suggested that I got the virus and viruses were the cause of the problem. One of them made me try "MalWareBytes". Another suggested I use "SUPERspyware. Both services have found a virus/spyware and if all goes well, they're gone. Currently, I am using Verizon Internet Security Suite and do not plan to get rid of him. All I want to know is how can I solve this problem? I don't want to pay to solve this problem, because I am a full time student and the fall semester is in a few days. I use on Windows Vista Edition Home Premium and I have a HP Pavilion a6519fh PC (premium of Intel Dual - Core E2180 Desktop Processor). HELP ME PLEASE! Thanks :)
Hello Carla,.
Try to use the System File Checker to scan your operating system for missing/corrupt files, perform the following steps:
- Click Startand type cmd in the box start the search .
- In the results, right-click on cmd.exearea, and then click run as administrator. You will be asked to type the password for an administrator account. If you are the administrator or type the administrator password, click continue . Then, click continue.
- At the command prompt, type Sfc/scannow, and then press ENTER.
The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista CD.
Hope this helps you. Let us know anyway. Make it a great day!
