Issue of Netflix streaming on ISA550

A newbie here, sorry,

Netflix doesn't stream on android or apple, Apple TV or blu - ray drives tablets, but not stream on computers.  is there a port to open or something?

Netflix support is a joke.  they say it is not broadcast on all ports, it broadcasts on the internet... and my speed must be at least API1.5... really?

Thanks in advance

Hi Brian,.

Could you please uncheck both options in the advanced settings of AV:

(1) disable http resume

(2) turn off the ftp resume

I would like to know if this helps.

Kind regards
Wei

I'm quite frustrated and if I can't get this resolved I'll resume the player and get another brand.  I just bought this drive a few days ago.  I'm not having any problems at all except with netflix streaming.  Vudo youtube and hula and all the rest is fine for streaming.  I can stream netflix on my Wii with no problem at all.   We constant starts and stops, sometimes stuck on the loading and then screen when I return to resume, the movie does not start where he stopped.  What is happening on all the movies that I watch on netflix.

I have a 8.0 Mbps connection optical fiber, which is stable, no problems that I know and the speed tests indicate that it is as it should be, stable and consistent.

Blu Ray is connected through my linksys router wireless.  After moving my router around the signal is now 100% constantly.  I called netflix and they gave me a convenience store that involved the reset of the Blu - Ray and disabling netflix player and I have already reset my router several times.  I removed the security on my router, I fiddled with the settings recommended in your help.  I always have the same question.  Wired is not really an option because that would defeat the purpose of having a wireless router and once again my signal strength is 100%.

I read on this forum and others that sony netflix roads through your servers, is it true?

Please notify until I have this box thing up and send it back.

    Thank you.

Add on... I called my ISP, had them looking for problems with my connection.  They claim that I have a solid connection 8.0 with no losses, no fluctuation in speed at all.  They he followed for more than 2 hours.

    Hi Bonita,

Internet connection speed minimum of 2.5 Mbps or greater is required for streaming of videos from standard definition (SD) and 10 Mbps or higher is required for high definition (HD) videos.

Reset you the player by selecting the reset of settings in the Player menu option?

Update the Firmware from the link below.

  • Netflix streaming stops browsers

I use Netflix streaming ("watch instantly") for years on my Mac, and all of a sudden when I go to play something it stops my browser (as well as all other tabs or windows I opened at the time).  I tried to shut my computer down several times.  I tried to use another browser - normally I use Safari and so I tried using Firefox instead.  It does the same thing regardless of the browser that I use.  I called Netflix who said that I had tried everything they suggest, and they referred me to Microsoft (thinking it was a problem of Silverlight player), who then referred me to this forum.  I don't know why this would start happening all of a sudden because I had no problem with Netflix in streaming/Silverlight ever.

  • Netflix streaming constantly freezes and expires

I bought 2 blu - ray player Sony bdp-s185 about 8 months, for the primary purpose of streaming netflix on my TV.  I wanted to replace my XBox as the primary instrument of streaming.  They worked fine until a month ago.  Now, I can't watch anything on them without constant freezing and waiting times.  After restarting the stream several times, if I'm lucky I can get it to actually play something, but it will not sink anything in HD.  I can't speed of streaming more of 0.3 MB/s on devices.

It is not a problem with my internet connection or netflix.  I have a connection strong 25mbps and have already called my cable company to see if there are problems with the connection.  I can get a stream flawlessly on my computer while at the same time these devices struggle capable of playing anything.  I bought only these actors for netflix, and I'm not interested to watch blu - ray or anything else, so, now, that these devices are useless for me.

Thank you for we do know all this, raven4267!

  • Re: Netflix streaming issues

I have a BDP-BX57 and copy the following code keeps coming back while trying to watch a movie on Netflix. What is the problem? Netflix says that its something wrong with Sony may update their system.
    Is this true?

I have a player Bluray BDP-BX57, KDL-46NX711 LCD TV and screen KDL-32EX308 LCD TV. They are all connected to my wireless network. Until a month or two before, they worked very well when you look at the HD Netflix content. Now almost every time that I try to watch the content on Netflix in HD, the picture freezes. This happens on all of these devices from Sony at any time of the day or night. The strange thing is, I can immediately connect to the content even with my Wii game console, and there is no problem of gel. The Wii isn't HD, so I wonder if the problem is with the video stream in HD quality. Note that I have a fast internet connection and I use a Wireless N simultaneous dual band router. The problem isn't just my internet connection speed or my wireless network connection speed. In addition, this never happened a few months ago. It is a Sony problem and needs to be addressed. If it's because of HD video content, Sony should add a feature via firmware update to be able to select the quality of the streaming video.

  • Netflix streaming without wifi or hotspot?

I just got a new Apple TV 64 G as a gift.  I want to use my new Apple TV and my iPhone 5s then in my RV to stream Netflix (without any WIFI).   However, I am one of those people who is still grandfathered in data unlimited by ATT and so using my phone as an access point is turned off by ATT (so using my phone as a hotspot is not an option).  I have been searching on the Internet and have not seen anything promising...  Before actually, I opened the package of Apple TV (keeping my option to return the gift), I'm trying to determine if there is a confirmed problem "streaming with no wifi/no hotspot"?  It was my reason for wanting to the Apple TV.

I hope for a resolution that will allow me to use only the Apple TV and my iPhome 5s, however, saw any suggestions on using a router to simulate a WIFI that is connected to anything...  Is that a viable solution?  Thank you.

    Welcome to the Apple community.

The Apple TV 4 is very well built around the internet, it needs an internet connection whenever it is turned on (although it may in the case subsequently shut down). It would be extremely difficult to use in your situation, if indeed you could use it at all. I wouldn't take the idea further if I were you.

  • Netflix streaming video running slow on windows xp netbook

Problem: I have connected to Netflix and begins playback of a video film on my netbook - all played perfectly.  After connecting my xp netbook to my TV in 1080i HD, the immediate video changed to IDLE speed.

I then disconnected the TV computer, rebooted the computer, re-connected to Netflixs and their videos are running in slow motion on the netbook.

Anyone know why and how to correct the problem?

    Hi peterdvd,

    · Is the issue with the Netflix app?

You can try to uninstall and reinstall Money bright on your computer and check the results.

  • My computer has problems with Netflix streaming

Movies will load and start playing then stop and try to reload again but is sitting there spinning. What could I do to fix this?

    Hello

    1. This only happens with Netflix?

    2. do you have the latest version of Silverlight installed?

    3. how to access Netflix on the computer?

Method 1: One of the reasons could be the speed of connection that may interfere with the way in which a video stream. Look for the same thing with your Internet service provider.

Method 2: Install the latest version of Microsoft Silverlight and see if it helps.

    Download Silverlight | Microsoft Silverlight

If the problem persists, I suggest you to contact Netflix support for assistance:

  • WMC does not work with Netflix streaming.

    original title: Netflix questions

After the last windows update the Viewer from netflix in WMC will not work whenever I start it it says he struggles to retrieve data and that I should check my internet connection.  You see, the rest of the computer including WMC (internet tv) works very well.  How can I fix it?

    Hi LaughingJ0k3r,

I suggest check with Netflix and make sure that they are not experiencing any issue on their end.

  • Netflix streaming interrupted by my Photosmart 6510 installation

I just purchased and installed a printer Photosmart HP 6510. It is connected to my wireless computer.

It seems to work perfectly to scan, print and copy. However, since installation, when children are trying to disseminate a Netflick, they get an error pop up Netflix. I called Netflix tech support and they suggested to reboot the router, I did.

Restart the router did not work. What has worked is to turn off my printer PS 6510. Netflix flow fine when the printer is turned off. Netflix error stream when the printer is on (even if in standby mode). Very curious.

Someone knows this, or have an idea of what is the "solution"?

The details of my situation are

MacBook 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

    OS X version 10.5.8

    Router 633 GR TRENDnet TEW

I couldn't tell you exactly what my internet connection is. My inventor/neighbor beams down from the mountain to a small receiver he placed on my roof.

    Thank you!

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you do not know the range, change the last set of numbers (those after the last '.') 250
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Enter the IP of your router (on the Page of the Network Config) for the gateway.
-Enter for the first DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for second DNS.
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Netflix error message. & Apple TV can search 2016 and Netflix - Netflix streaming?

I'm sorry to ask such a basic question, but trying to figure this out I see a lot of conflicting opinions and problems.

The Big One is that Netflix wouldn't even play on my Apple computer. I get this error message all the time.

Re: Error Message: I have no Airplay (just Time Capsule). Don't know why my iMac to 2013 could not be HDCP. Run the iMac to resolution 2048 x 1152.

  • Issue of netflix Android TV KDL-43w800c.

Recently bought this tv, specifically for netflix features. At the opening of the app, it brings me to the login screen. I go into the details, it goes back to loop connection, but returns just me at the first login screen. Already checked the connection information is correct, and I am running the most recent version. Have also stopped at the wall and rebooted tv several times.

Well, after the silent treatment here and an hour on the phone to Sony, the problem is resolved. For future users with the same problem, perform a factory reset on the tv, but when it comes to choosing area only select Oceania, instead select "area off above '. It is a known problem and possibly a patch released to fix.

  • Issue of Netflix yoga 8 in section 4.4.2

Anyone having problems watching on Netflix after update to 4.4.2 on 8 of Yoga? I get messed up pixels and green/purple pixels on the screen now, everytime I watch a video since the update, which makes it very bad.

Oh, and the volume buttons are confusing when the Tablet is placed upside down, it looks like someone messed up badly in the QA service for this update

  • Issue of Netflix with Silverlight on Mac: error 2104

The problem: when you try to watch ANY movie on Netflix, I get an error message 2104.  Possible solutions (see below) to this problem do not work.

The system: Macintosh, OS Lion, Safari or Chrome

The solutions proposed, but unsuccessfully implemented:
    1. follow the resolution of problems provided by Microsoft to Netflix online: uninstall Silverlight, quit the browser, empty the trash, restart Netflix.
    2. to 1., supra:
    -Remove plug-ins internet
    -Remove PlayReady
    -Remove the recipes
    -Repair permissions
    -Restart the computer
-Try all this using Google Chrome
Nothing works!  I bounced around Microsoft technical support to different people in the technical assistance that eventually gave up and suggested that I contact M/S Customer Support, the organization who suggested that I should post this question on the forum b/c they do not have a solution that worked.
If anyone has any ideas beyond those I've tried higher on the resolution of this problem and don't mind sharing ideas, I would be very grateful!

    Hello

I suggest you to ask your question in the Silverlight forums.
  • If known, what are the main components, or variables that make unnecessary Netflix streaming when Silverlight is to work on other Web sites?

I uninstalled it, reinstalled, reset all default values, bought new equipment, contacted Netflix, Microsoft, sampled through Silverlight video other sites sampled through my laptop and pc turn to my roommate, but to enjoy.

What are the other options to get Silverlight to work on my Tower, despite the fact that the application works well on it and for a long time before the current state?
