Issue of the wireless feature

Specifically, my only pressing question is: the wireless antenna on the HP OfficeJet 6000 wireless model convertible turned off/disabled if the wireless feature is not necessary/no desired?  I am aware of the existence of the standard model HP 6000 of JO, which does not include the wireless feature.

I also need to know the functionality typically wireless on HP wireless printers.  Most of them share a common wireless card, or are they all different essentially?

I want to just familiarize myself with the brand, I manage a store that carries some HP printers.

Thank you very much!

Throe

The wireless card can be disabled through the network portion of the front panel of the printer menu.

I'm not sure that the wireless cards are widespread, but almost all of them are 802.11 g (not n).

  • Track issues with the Wireless Mouse 5000 bought with Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000...

Just bought a Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse (Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000). For some reason any mouse is pointing upwards and is not followed correctly. What seems to be the case after a few minutes of use tracking becomes unstable and it feels like the mouse pointer is delayed and begins to jump around the screen. It is even more evident when I start trying to drag windows around the office and if I drag too fast it starts to "hiccup" (best I can describe it) and it seems to miss a few frames per second that I am dragging to the desktop. I noticed in games, especially the FPS, quick turns because of the mouse to lose track, and a second, I'm facing forward and the other second I'm back, with no apparent transition between the two. I tried to disable the accuracy monitoring, but to no avail... For any help or suggestion would be appreciated...

I use Windows 7 Professional and have no such problems with 8 year old Logitech wireless mouse, this keyboard is replacement.

I know this is an old thread, but I can see nowear where the problem has been resolved.  I have a Logitech wireless mouse on my laptop and a thread on my desk, both had the same problem. The problem has been solved for me using just a mouse pad, no problem since! This answer may be there somewhere but I didn't fall on it even from Microsoft (surprise). Incidentally, my mousepad is often a sheet of A4 paper on a clip board. If someone actually reads this please let me know if it was any help.

  • HP Officeject 4500: Analysis of issues on the Officeject HP 4500

    Hi all

I had recent trouble with the HP Officeject 4500 (Wired). I have had it for quite a few years and have been happy with it. It prints the fines and scanned/copied fine as well. Unfortunately, my scanner has had some problems. It seems that the scanning light is stuck on the right side of the printer. The first time it has produced, I been in the printer and moved it side just a bit and that seemed to have the little guy on the rails. Unfortunately, this issue has increased, and my previous solution seems to not work. I moved to the back of the lamp a little and allowed the printer to remember and send the lamp back, however, the lamp comes back to the right side, it gets stuck again. I tried to fix two times tonight and two attempts ended in failure.

Someone at - it an entry on what can help me?

    Edit:

I also understand that I contact before HP about this problem and I'm not kidding when I say that they had completely no idea of what was going on at all. They told me that I would need to bring repair and asked me if it was under warranty. They did not even address my question or are trying to help. When I invited my question more thoroughly, they said 'I'm sorry Sir, I can't help you,' and hung up. So the point of my writing, all this is I would appreciate comments from any HP customer, Beceause my faith in the HP support has been sprayed.

I solved the problem. Yet once, I entered the printer and adjust the positioning of the lamp which the printer recgonized its location and was able to remember the lamp with success.

Thanks for your help X-23, I will no longer need advice on your part.

I turn now to the customers of HP and the HP Officejet 4500 owners:

As you can see, X - 23 was not able to help me. I am grateful for his time and fast delivery of his answers, but he could not fix my problem. If you have read earlier, you can see that X-23 has sent me a PM. In this monograph, it includes a bit on the function on the HP Officejet 4500 wireless even if I mentioned to him that I own the model this is not the wireless feature. He doesn't have to remember. I encourage all HP customers to use your common sense and see if you can logically solve your problem. If this is not the case, do a quick search on Google. The only advice I can give you is to not accept responses from HP that go like "I'm sorry Sir, but your printer, you need to replace/repair/return. In my years as an HP customer, I never found the need to communicate with them on any problem I had, because I could figure it out myself. And I knew that HP customer care is more distraught than any of their customers. I came to the conclusion that HP creates products designed to break after their period officers and hiring of guarantee that copy and paste solutions for them in a manual of customer support.

With respect to the correction for the Officejet 4500, find the steps below:

    (1) find a screwdriver that supports Allen key sizes. You will need an Allen head moderately small key.

    (2) unscrew the screws located on the printer in these places: 4 on top near the scanner, 2 by the hinges of the scanner cover and 1 when you open the cartridge access door.

    (3) with all these screws removed, lift the printer gently pulling him in the back, then the front.

    (4) open the printer so you can see the glass of the scanner and prop them open so that you can fit your hand inside.

    5) gently move the lamp to scan out of his position. You will need to move it a little if the printer is to remind successfully. The printer is programmed to move back some distance to ensure that it works, if place you it too close to where he was trapped, it will get stuck again.

Follow these steps, and I hope you get an all-in-one printer to work again. If this isn't the case, then see if you can find a replacement through your warranty. If your warranty has run out, find another brand of printer that has good printers for cheaper price and ink at price and normal price (unlike HP). I wish you good luck.

  • How to connect to the internet via the wireless?

I just bought my first laptop Toshiba L10, and I'm unable to start, how do I connect to the internet using the wireless feature and no track? More frustrating is how can I connect to the internet in the first place, wireless.
    Help, please.

    Hi Phil,

To answer your questions in full, it would be quite a task but here is my simple guide: -.

    1. connect to the internet

1.1 choose an ISP (provider of Internet Sertvice) and get a CD with the software and the connection information.

1.2 load the CD and follow the onscreen instructions to set up your login information.

1.3 If you use dial-up connect your cable modem to your laptop and the other end to your telephone line.

1.4 If you are using broadband services to connect your CODEC to your USB port and the other cable to your microfilter attached to your telephone line.

1.5 DO NOT START YOUR INTERNET CONNECTION UNLESS YOU HAVE ANTIVIRUS RUNNING ON YOUR LAPTOP.

1.6 Click START-> CONNECT TO-> the connection created in 1.2 above

For the wireless connection, the procedure is similar braodly but you need a router or wireless modem connected to your telephone line and properly configured in Notepad you.

Follow step 1.5 with a lot of attention. If you connect to the internet without anit-virus software and firewall appropriate, it will be only a few seconds before your laptop computer will be infected with a form of virus. Please be careful.

  • Equium L40: Cannot depend on the wireless Lan card

I tried to turn on my abilities wirelesss using FN + F8 as shown in my manual, however when I run a search for wireless connections to repeatedly get a message saying that the wireless features are not lit and it fails to correct the problem.
    I use an Equium L40.

    Hello

I don't really know what you're doing wrong. The fact is that WLAN card must be turned on in the same way on all Toshiba laptops.

At the first switcher WLAN to on the situation and after doing this light WLAN must be turned on. After you do this using FN + F8 key combination and make sure that the WIFI is enabled.

So now you should be able to use the wireless network on your laptop card. Open ConfigFree application and choose RADAR to locate the WLAN in your area.
I do the same on several laptops at home (old and new models).

I understand that you want to disable the SSID wireless with your printer HP Envy 5660. I'm happy to help you!

If the wireless function is set to off, the only other function I can think. Is to disable direct wireless as well. According to this guide, printing with a Wi-Fi Direct, she says: most HP printers wireless released in late 2014 and later support Wi - Fi Direct. Printers compatible with touchscreen control panels have a Wi - Fi Direct icon (). If your printer control panel does not have the icon, go to the menu of the Network Configuration or the wireless settings and confirm if an item of menu Wi - Fi Direct is displayed.

I hope that solves your problem!
