• How to change the default line width in Ultiboard?

  I was recently working on my Board and somehow (for screen printing lines) default line width has been set to 0.00004 mils.

  How can I change this default width?

  Hi Nick,

  You should be able to set the width of the default drawing for the layers of the toolbar settings to draw that is above the Board default workspace. Select the top layer of the screen and enter a value, it shouldn't forget for the subsequent designs.

  I use Adobe Acrobat X Standard. When I sent my file PDF (architectural drawing) Engineer, I can see all my line width that are corresponding to the width of the pen of my cad program setting.

  When the engineer I returned the (secure) PDF with stamp, setting the width of my pen is everything disappeared.

  Where is the problem?

• How to create an oval and thicken the line width?

  I need to create the half oval, but I can't seem to make the width of the line thicker? As you can see on the properties box on the right, where it says details of form, I can't click the color or type to change the line width. Why is this?

  I'm fairly certain that you may have about the comment tools.

  To highlight the tool, there is no option to change the line width (thickness).  But you can change the color and opacity.  In addition, you can change the style in the desktop application.

  For the Pencil tools or drawing freehand, you pouvez change the width of the line (thickness) in addition to the color and opacity.

  The key here is to change the properties of an existing comment, once it is added to a page.

  Acrobat Reader DC (desktop application) on your MacBook

  1. Right click on the brand of underscore or existing pencil.
  2. Select properties from the context menu.
  3. Select appearance (if not already displayed).
  4. Specify the value of a property (color, opacity, Style or thickness).

  

  

  Acrobat Reader for iOS (mobile application) on your iPad

  1. Tap the existing underlining or drawing freehand.
  2. Select a property (color, opacity, thickness) in the menu that appears.
  3. Specify the value of the property.

  

  

  Once you change a property (for example, thickness, color, opacity), the mobile app will remember the new value of type specific comment for next time.

  Hi, I am looking to buy a color laser printer so that I can print my work - I create very detailed art that is designed to be fully seen under a magnifying glass works.

  Printers in my budget tend to have resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. does anyone know what the thinnest line/dot (expressed in points), it's that can be printed with precision to the resolution of the printer size? I found with my other printers if the printing line is thinner than the printer can handle, he just prints it thicker.

  Here are some results of the OKI 9600 toner printer test.

  PostScript, 1200 dpi, 121Lpi, based on test models in this doc:

  All results by interpreting the prints.

  Page 9:

  Zero width of stripe, 0Y 0 M 0C 100K

  PostScript converts zero printable the smallest line width

  Width: line 1 pair and gap for each raster cell, approx. 121 pairs

  per inch (means: always recognizable about 120).

  The width of each line is 0.5· (1/121) inches = 0.5·25.4mm/121 = 0.1 mm approx.

  50 levels.

  256 levels can be achieved by the image - or chemicals, but the

  actual number of levels will be smaller.

  I currently have problems with my width line (stroke) in Illustrator CS6.

  I checked and double checked to make sure "Snap to grid of pixels" is DISABLED.

  What else could be what allows me do not adjust my LOWER widths to 1 px? I need options px.25 et.5

• problems of line width

• Default line width

  I hope I can explain it properly.

  I had this problem before and it doesn't happen only occasionally. It is however very frustrating because I don't know what the cause and why it happens sometimes and not others.

  I've got CS6 (using the cloud so much more up to date version).

  I want to draw a line segment. I select .5pt to the width of the outline. I draw the line while holding down the SHIFT key, so it's all right. It is default width 1 pt. I select and try to change the width by using the appearance Panel and the toolbar. Automatically default back.

  I draw the line on an angle and it remains a.5pt. But I don't want an oblique line. I want a straight line.

  I draw with the tool pen and applies by default to 1 pt.

  WHY?

  Number to align it on the pixel grid, perhaps?

  You work in RGB and began with the new Document profile from the Web? Turn off align it on the pixel grid in the transformation Panel. It is enabled by default in AICS5.

  I know this will be a stupid question but here goes.  Just updated to CS5 in CS2 and I can't get the basics to work more.

  Set the width of the line to 10 points.

  Profile of uniform width.

  Set the brush to ink art - conical race

  Well, now draw with the pencil tool and I get a 10pt line but none related conical.

  Drawing with the brush and I get a tapered to 10 points.

  Now define the profile of width to "width profile 1'.  Everything else unchanged.

  Pencil tool give me a line 1 pt uniform.

  Brush tool gives me a line of 10 points with the profile.

  I'm so confused. How can I get these values by default to work with the pencil tool?

  Apply the stroke tapered to a path and then deselect "New Art has basic appearance" in the appearance Panel menu. Now you can draw such a line as long as you do not change the appearance.

• Line width will not go below 1 pt.

  I have a problem with illustrator. The width of the line will not go below 1 pt. It makes no difference if I choose a lower weight of the race in the drop-down menu, or if I type in. I tried the solution of two comma and dashed, even even.

  Specifications:

  Illustrator CS5 English

  Any ideas?

  You will need to uncheck snap to grid of pixels in the transformation Panel.
