It's what I have whenever I try to use the box of departure/Chantal search failed to initialize. The research won't do anything except say failure to initialize. I tried to "msconfig", but nothing happens. Is there another way to get around this?

My computer was infested with viruses, Trojans and so had all digitized and clean, but all my programs listed in the start menu there are the EMPTY list.

Follow these methods in the order and see if the problem is resolved.
Method 1: Follow the steps and check out them.
a. open an Admin command prompt window. To open an administrator (high) prompt, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right click Guest and then click Run as administrator.
b. in the command prompt window, type the following command and press ENTER:
regsvr32 msxml3.dll
c. closing session and you connect again to your user account and see if the menu items are displaying correctly.

How can I get the accessories in the start menu?
I tried to make a shortcut to Accessories on my desktop by dragging the icon in the start menu on the desktop. An Accessories folder appears, containing none of the accessories like a painting. In addition, the accessories tab no longer exists in the start menu.

Assuming that I get a new computer and I just installed Windows 7 and nothing else. What are the programs will then be in the start menu?
As the current state of things, my computer starts very slowly, so I don't want to uninstall something if it is vital to start Windows 7.

Upgrade in Windows 7 Home Premium to professional
I have Windows 7 Home Premium (OEM Version) installed in Australia and bought a Windows 7 Professional upgrade key in the United States. When you try to upgrade using the Windows Anytime Upgrade feature, it tells me to use a different key, yet my upgrade pack tells me to use the Windows Anytime Upgrade feature! I bought the upgrade from a reputable store in San Francisco. Any ideas why it does not work?What is a retail upgrade or full version or an Express upgrade?
If its OEM license, it will not work.
If at any time the upgrade fails, Windows Anytime Upgrade Fail:
Shut down and restart your computer.
Make sure that the Windows updates have been installed.
