Original title: Dynamics CRM 2011 Extension of reporting facility.
Nice day
Asked me to install this program called Extension Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 report Authoring on one of our PC network operations. The computer is a Dell OptiPlex 960 under Windows XP SP3. When attempting to install the program, you get the following error message:
The computer is running an operating system Microsoft Dynamics CRM does not support. To install this product, you need to upgrade your computer to an operating system supported. For a complete list of supported operating systems, see the documentation for Microsoft Dynamics CRM (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=181018)
For additional detals see logfile C:\Documents and Settings\bcodom\Application Data\Microsoft\MSCRM\Logs\BIDSExtensionsSetup.logNow, normally, I just coordinates with the end-user to him upgrade to Windows 7, however, after watching on the download page of this application (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=13818), I noticed that Windows XP is one of the supported operating systems that can be installed on. In addition, after looking around on the Technet documentation, I was not given a definitive answer on whether or not this application is not supported on Windows XP.
So, my question is creation of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 report Extension works on Windows XP SP3, or do we let us upgrade this computer to Windows 7? Thank you!
Hi Bcodom,
In dealing with the problem to install the Extension of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 report creation, I would recommend you to post your question in the help link.

Error message: Microsoft HD-5000 is not in need. INF installation Webcam
Webcam installation problems
Hello
I am trying to install a webcam on my Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. I think I should also mention that I bought this laptop from a friend, a year or two ago, and I decided to reformat it for Windows Vista Home Premium a month ago. Back to the problem. I load the installation disc and everything installs until the time of the pilot. When it starts to install the driver, it encounters an error. He said to me (as for example Microsoft HD-5000 webcam) "Microsoft HD-5000 is not in need. INF' or something in that sense. This message has jumped to 3 different webcams I tried to install. I even went further and purchased the HD-6000 for notebooks and still does not work.
-J' have tried going to the manufacturer's website and install the latest version of the software and still the same problem.
-J' also tried to go to Device Manager and trying to update the driver. and still the same message.
-J' even tried to find the driver I install and same thing.
Someone help me please install this webcam! I try to webcam friend which is 800 miles!
Please someone HELP!
Hi Kosh Vorlon,
1. What is the version of the operating system installed on your computer (32 or 64 bit)?
2. have you checked the webcam on another Windows Vista computer?
3. you get error codes?
Step 1: First of all, try to check the webcam on another computer and check if it works.
Step 2: You can also try a create a new user account and check if you can connect:

Original title: problem connecting to USB external drive
I tried to install a 30 GB drive to Fireball over using a disk enclosure external hard Octigen SATA-USB 2.0 on an Acer Aspire T671 under Vista Premium computer. The system recorded new material, installs drivers and registers an entry on the massive safe removal as a "USB storage device" icon However, the computer does not allocate a drive designation letter and does not show the opening of windows Explorer.
The hard disk is configured as a master, as described in the user manual.
How can I make the computer recognize the drive and assign a drive letter?
Thank you for the help
Frank Hughes
Hi FAH300,
If you are not able to format the drive, there may be a hardware problem.
I suggest formatting the disk using the instructions linked by wb2001.

Acer computer - wx7, version premium - AMD Athlon 64 processor family. I click on my icon espeak - the program happens - but microsoft speech engine does not appear on the desktop - error message indicates that the engine is not properly installed - Help - thank you
Hello
Thanks for posting this question in the Microsoft Community.
I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing. I'll certainly try and help you in the matter of fixing.
To help you to propose measures to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:
1. When was the last time espeaking worked?
2. do you have an anti-virus installed on the computer program?
3. What is the brand and model of the computer?
4 have you done any recent software or the hardware changes in the computer?
Windows comes with a screen reader called Narrator, which reads text on the screen aloud and describes some events (such as displaying an error message) that happen while you're using the computer.
Espeaking is a third-party voice recognition application.
You may need to contact the manufacturer of the program or reinstall the application.
Hope this helps and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.

I have a pregnant House Sonos and iTunes game on my computer, but my husband can't use it unless my device is turned on and the House. If I also get the family plan of Apple's music that will solve the problem? Also it can download new music in its iTunes which both, we can share or must all be on my computer? Thank you
I can't promise I can help you Janice but I want to just make sure that I understand your question before trying to help:
1: Sonos is a configuration of wireless speakers, so I'm not sure why your computer must be in the same room unless you have very low WiFi - could you please clarify?
2: music Apple (Please be aware, it's different and separate iTunes Match) family membership allows up to six persons to access their own individual Apple music account on their own devices for a slightly longer price so I'm not sure that would solve your problem that your husband does not really benefit if it didn't have its own device (s)?
3: where would be the husband you download this music to? If it was for a local computer in iTunes then only he would have access without set up sharing. If it was his own iCloud, which could be shared easily. If it was on your computer, that would be accessible by both you regardless of Apple Id.
I feel a bit woolly, but hopefully a little more information, I can help you further.
