iTunes player responding to outside noise

I have problems with iTunes Player (and Sonos Player too for that matter) on my iPhone 6 and MacBook Pro.

I live in NYC and it is impossible to avoid the noise of the city. But I find that high pitch screams and the sound of high tone sustained as brakes squeaking or beeps backup will cause iTunes suddenly start or stop playback. Or to skip to the next song. How to disable this behavior?

Thank you.

Please open the sound preferences window and select the input tab move the slider in the volume all the way to the left. Audio input will be deleted. Any change?

    Hello

Click with the right button on the speaker near the clock on the tongue - recorders - just below levels that you can
lower level and the boost - also on the development tab, you can check the Noise Suppression. No doubt
you will need to experiment with these settings.

The microphone settings are also available in the control panel - sounds

And there may be an Audio Manager appears in the Panel that has parameters.

    I hope this helps.

  • Apple support has been unable to solve my problem with iTunes not responding do not. He started all of a sudden. A few weeks after I've upgraded to Windows 10. Reinstalles/uninstalled iTunes and nothing. Now, I can't even Apple support for help.

All the sudden, iTunes has stopped responding. I click top and nothing. I spent over an hour with a Senior Engineer at Apple's Support, which does not give me a ticket number so now Apple can't even find the person I talked to. This person had to remember and it's been 2 weeks. I called Apple back Support and since they can't find a ticket number they told me that I have to wait until this person reminds me. This engineer had me remove and reinstall iTunes with all the other components that go with it, I run it as administrator, pretty much did all the troubleshooting I had done on my own. I have now to sit and wait, hoping that this senior engineer at Apple called me back. It's poor and poor support for iTunes. If anyone has any advice, please share.

    Thank you

These can be things that you've already tried. Despite this, it might be interesting to try again. As another poster has said recently, though for another problem, "20th try was the charm.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

  • what media (zune, windows media player or itunes) Player is easier to move the music from?

Well, I'll get an Ipod for myself and give my dad my old Zune.  It also has an mp3 player that works with Windows Media Player.

I'm not talking to music that is bought from Itunes or Microsoft.  I'm talking about music that was taken from the CDs.

Before you start to tear up, I would like to know what software makes it easier to move or copy music to others or if it will be difficult no matter what happens.

Thanks and sorry if this post makes no sense complete, I was in a hurry.

It is usually unnecessary to transfer or copy anything when you use several media players. If you stick to MP3 format and point all media on the same folder of music players (in most cases, this will be your personal music folder), then the media player should automatically pick each other ripped songs. • Player Windows media play is not Itunes specific

I recently bought and downloaded music from the store of Tunes on my ipad and then sync my ipad to my PC. Music files have been successfully transferred to my PC. The album I bought appears in iTunes on my PC with 10 songs visible and works properly, however, when I went to play in Windows Media Player, a songs is not present, the other 9 were visible and works correctly. It happened to be the most popular song on the album that does not work. I had 5 months a similar problem when I bought a single on the iTunes store and it worked in iTunes but not WMP... I am aware that Microsoft says that the m4a files do not work in WMP, but I almost 100 m4a iTunes store songs which work fine in WMP and have been for more than a year. I made sure there is no restriction on the song and apple no longer uses DRM...

If anyone is wondering what songs I downloaded, the single I bought 5 months ago: hope in front of me, by Danny Gokey and the album I bought was by Chasen, the name of the album is that was then, this is now. The song which DOES NOT work in WMP and in iTunes is track 3: On And On. The most popular song on the album...

I just want to know what is the question, especially because 9 of the 10 songs on this album DO not work, because I like to use WMP while I'm at work and I'd love to hear my new songs as well as my 'old'.

    Thank you

Sorry - my fault - I missed a step! You must first change your rip settings in iTunes (it uses the rip parameter to create new versions too)

Open iTunes player..., albums lh corner select edition - preferences and on the 'general' tab, you will see (cd) import settings - select then in the menu drop-down superior encoder mp3... you must then define the quality in the next drop - I go to/128mono-256 (stereo) custom which is the equivalent of many downloads, as shown highlighted in the snip. Select and click OK... You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect and then you will get the option "create mp3 version". I hope that now you can go! -CIR

  • iTunes does not, to play or to import CDs

I use Windows 7 64 bit and the last v9.0.1.8 to iTunes

When I insert a CD in my drive, iTunes starts but will not display the CD nor can I play or rip tracks. If I run the diagnostics it says that it can find and read the CD, but still I can't see or play. Oddly, I can burn audio CDs in iTunes without any problems at all. I gave all of its permissions to iTunes, I tried it in administrator mode, I also tried to reinstall it. Windows can see the end CD, such as Windows Media Player and any other noise but not iTunes.

I always had this problem on this computer for a reason, even when I had Vista installed. Help, please!

Hi Meghmala, thanks for your response.

I followed your steps but unfortunately there was no registry entry low filters, so I rebooted the PC in any case and iTunes says the registry entry that he used to read CDs is missing and to reinstall iTunes, so I completely uninstalled and reinstalled. I did another check of diagnosis of in iTunes and then he said that he had no CD, so I've merged back also the backup.reg in the registry. Also makes no difference, and in the end I had to use system restore. Unfortunately, it seems that I have to live with the problem.

    Thanks for your help anyway.

  • List of complete podcast in iTunes, but not Web Preview

    Hello, our podcast is https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/breastfeeding-medicine-podcast/id417009927

We have 54 episodes.  They all appear in iTunes Player, but only 27 show upwards in the list at the iTunes Store.

I tested several podcasts that are missing from the list at the iTunes Store and they play.  Feed Validator reports no problem with food: www.anneeglash.com/bfpodcast.xml.

    Any suggestions will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

You have probably fallen on an intermittent bug in the store where some episodes do not appear, even if all episodes appear when you subscribe. Go to http://podcastsconnect.apple.com , sign in, choose your podcast and click on "Refresh Feed '. Give it time - the store can take a day or two to update. If that does not work, contact support and ask for a re-indexing: who can solve it. • delete songs duplicate in iTunes 12.4.1?

    Hello

With the recent update to the iTunes player, version 12.4.0, I was unable to remove duplicate songs and can't find a way to do it. If Apple hid this feature, can someone update me with this information.

    Thank you

    Chris

Some menus have been reorganized in the latest iTunes.  I do not use the new iTunes, but since yours is the first post I've seen on this subject I think that to find duplicates feature is still there.

  • iTunes Gets the focus at the opening of the song from the Explorer

Hi all! I hope you can help me with my little problem. Recently I decided to spend my old iTunes audio player software, but I still prefer to open songs directly from the Solution Explorer, without using iTunes playlists or search system. Whenever I click on the song to play, it brings iTunes in short which is a bit annoying. I know it's ridiculous to sounds, but this old player I just 'received' selected song that has been reduced to a minimum at Lac, so I would not even paid attention to it. Since the iTunes player seems to have a sandbox, when I click on my song it brings iTunes in short window. I'm multitasking a lot and for iTunes, I would play in environments without "remind me" he's here. Thank you for you time!

  • My iTunes Store movies do not play in iTunes 12.3.3

After you have installed the latest version of iTunes (12.3.3) and OSX 2016-002 (v. 10.10.5) security update I can no longer

play my movies purchased (from the iTunes Store) in my MacBookPro (mid-2012) machine.

I see the key symbol next to the key play of the iTunes player and I get a black screen when I try

to see one of my purchased movies.

Unfortunately, it did not help the upgrade to Yosemite to El Capitan (v. 10.11.4) yesterday.

    The problem persists.

I tried to install El Capitan in 'safe mode' and re-install again using OSX recovery but

has not solved the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Problem solved, but I don't know how.

After re-installation of El Capitan now everything works.

At the same time, it could have been a problem with my Apple store

who blocked my access to my iTunes temporarily movies for some reason any.
