Junk e-mail filter

I am expereincing a rash of spam for the last week or two. I tried marking them all as spam and deleting them and yet they keep coming back day after day. I tried to look for the file with the addresses of spam, but not able to find the file or any reference in your help pages.

This leaves me several questions.

Is there a problem with the progeam junk in your latest version of Thunderbird?

Where are the unwanted definitions, stored e-mail addresses and how can I get the file to edit?

I continue to find the emails that have message filters in my junk e-mail folder.

Then your filters do not work properly. The filters are executed before the junk mail controls. At least this is the default setting. Make sure it is the case for you.

  • How to hide all the future updates to the Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter?

Is it possible to automatically hide or ignore all future updates for Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter?

I don't have, and never plan to use Windows Mail, and I'm not sure that I could never be convinced that I should, someday.

Therefore, all the updates of Windows for this are very very little, but the update system keeps their important marking - so I have to hide them every time.

Is there a technique to automatically remove this update until it is important to my system?

I use Windows Vista Home Basic SP2.

No, you can not hide all the future updates Windows Mail Junk Email Filter. But here is a workaround:

1 configure automatic updates for the 'updates but let me choose... '. "setting.

    2. when an update of the Windows Mail Junk e-mail filter is available for your approval, thereafter, hide it.

  • KB905866 junk e-mail filter [February 2010] - error 80070643

With the help of MS Vista.  For several months, any update for the junk e-mail filter will fail constantly.  The icon "new updates are available" remains in my bar tasks until I manually hide the update.  All other updates install normally on the automatic cycle.  It's just spam those who fail.  Since I do not use Windows Mail, it is what worry?  I use Outlook Mail, and I was wondering if it pulled out of the same set of filter?

Is it possible to fix either where it will download correctly - or-stop Windows Update of that need as new version of each month is available?

    Hello

Because you have tried all the steps of troubleshooting and still faces questions, I suggest you do an InPlace upgrade using the Installation of Windows Vista disc.

Note Run a repair installation will not damage files and applications that are currently installed on your computer. However, before you perform an Inplace upgrade, you can take a backup of important data. In case of a worst case scenario, you may have to reinstall all the programs. Make sure that you back up personal data to disks or other external storage devices before performing an upgrade on the spot. To perform an upgrade in-place, follow these steps.
    a. close all running applications.

    b. Insert the Windows Vista DVD into the DVD drive of the computer.

    c. in the settings window, click install now.

Note If Windows does not automatically detect the DVD, follow these steps:

Click on start and type Drive: \setup.exe in the box to start the search.

Note The placeholder drive is the drive letter of the computer's DVD.

    List programs, click Setup.exe.

In the settings window, click install now.

    a. click go online to get the latest updates for installation (recommended).

    b. type the CD key if you are prompted to do so.

    c. in the "Windows Installer" page select the operating system you want to update or Inplace.

    d. click Yes to accept the Microsoft software license agreement.

    e. on the which type of installation you want? of the screen, click upgrade.

    f. when the installation is complete, restart your computer.

For more information, please see the link:

How to perform an upgrade on the spot on Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 & Windows Server 2008 R2

Once the upgrade has completed, you must activate your copy of Windows Vista.

What color are the messages? Spam in Mail filter will color Brown messages when they are sent to the Junk mailbox. It can be your supplier by marking them as spam.

Open Mail preferences and the Junk tab. Do you have contacts exempt from spam filtering? Uncheck trust junk mail headers.

If all of your settings are correct, hit the reset button to reset the junk mail filtering.

  • Why junk e-mail filter works when I 'junk mail adaptive controls' extinct?

I restore emails from a backup to a local folder. However, when I do, TB grab many of them and puts them in a junk folder (most which are * not * spam). I have the "junk mail adaptive controls" turned off. How he stop doing that.

  • Junk e-mail filter does not work

For two months, a lot of messages ended up in junk e-mail that are not useless. Here are the messages from senders that I received already very well. People in my contacts. Messages are not marked as spam by the Mail app. I tried a lot of things:

    1. I chose "mark as junk mail, but leave in my Inbox.
    2. I checked the Contacts, past winners and display name boxes.
    3. I unchecked "trust junk mail headers in messages.

    No difference.

I checked with my email provider (who is also my host) they assured me that I have no spam filtering or marking allowed their end.

So I decided to turn the spam, filtering. Guess what. There was a message in the junk e-mail folder. It has not been marked as junk e-mail. How is that even possible with disabled filtering? I looked for the focus groups and do not find the answer. Any help will be appreciated.

Mac Mini (mid2011) OS X El Capitan, 10.11.3

Messages are not marked as spam by the Mail app.

Tthat is the key to understanding this issue.

There are two kinds of designations of junk e-mail. A type is based on what you thought Mail to recognize as undesirable. The ones that appear in Brown. The other type is that those who are designated as junk by the e-mail provider. These can be found in the junk e-mail folder, but are not highlighted in Brown and co not show icon only Junk.

The only way to solve this last is to log into the web mail provider portal and check your junk/spam mail settings there. Often local addressbook updTing ok is very useful.

  • Mail goes in the junk e-mail folder, even if the junk e-mail filter is off

    Yosemite.

    Junk e-mail is disabled.

Mail goes in the junk e-mail folder.

It is not labeled as junk so I can't value it not Junk.

    There are no rules anywhere.

There are no rules in the iCloud.com field.

How can I stop this madness?

Your question seems really maddening if all your e-mail goes to junk e-mail for no apparent reason.  My only suggestion would be to join Apple/iCloud support- https://www.apple.com/emea/support/icloud/contact/
