After that we updated our windows machine 7 (KB3175024). users are unable to change the password

Error: The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security. Please make sure you can contact the server which you authenticated.

That looks like the month latest Patch August: KB3167679

I would like to know any work around or fix to this

Samba 3.x seems to be the cause of these patch for not working for change of password. If you are in Samba 3?

I've recently updated the basic software on my 9800.  The version is now 6.0.0.668, bundle 2949.  When I go into the configuration of email, since the update I have received no email, I'm presented with a list of e-mail addresses that I used in the past on the device and asks me to check the passwords for the accounts.  However, when I put a password for one of the accounts I always get the same answer "I'm sorry, impossible to continue your session.  Please log in again "."  It's always the answer be an account POP3, IMAP or webmail.

I checked the help file and suggests it would add and remove options from the menu, but all that is available are App Switch, help and Close.  I have also reviewed a number of backups, but have not any possibility to restore the e-mail settings.

Can anyone suggest a short action plan to restore to the factory settings?

    Hi all

Currently, I am having trouble starting my 12 c ODI after that I updated a bunch of kernel and rebooted the machine.

The work formerly configuration was as follows:

I already tried to reinstall ODI 12 c 12.1.3, but the error message is always the same. However, ODI-Studio run as superuser (known) does not work, even if the entire configuration is lost, for example repository connections.

Sorry for the wall of text, I thought that some details could be useful. Someone at - it never have a similar problem? Is this a known issue? How can this problem be solved? I have found no information about it until now.

    Thanks in advance and greetings
    Thomas

Remove the following the user-home directory:

    and try again.

You will lose some preferences. But this shouuld not to be a problem.

I found this in another forum and solved the problem:

The version.h file is missing in /lib/modules/3.7.2-201.fc18.x86_64/build/include/linux/ therefore, the manuscript is not able to get the right path to fetch the other header files.

The following will fix the problem by copying the version.h in the folder:

    CP /usr/include/linux/version.h /lib/modules/3.7.2-201.fc18.x86_64/build/include/linux/

    Any suggestions please?

(the only thing I've done is to rename the Catroot2 folder and restart the system according to the instructions in MS for about 2 years for another machine)

Original title: KB 2393802 will not install and keeps back__

Let me take you, you are under Windows XP SP3. If true, and only if it is true, the following might help you resolve the issue (which is common for all updates kernel on Windows XP computers):

KB2393802 (MS11-011) is an update of the kernel, and since these are released for Windows XP, MS is not those to install properly for years as soon as it is an OEM System (with OEM drivers) installed on which these kind of updates must be installed on.

To get these updates for Windows XP is installed correctly on these systems, you will need to download the update from download area:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=a511d33a-9ae0-46EE-A225-9d97390de7d1
    * Save * the file in a folder and run the EXE file with the parameter "/ o" (like "/ overwriteOEM"-seehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/262841/en-us for more details on that and other parameters) subsequently.

Suppose you downloaded the English version of KB2393802 in a "Downloads" folder that is located on your C: drive. In this case, please restart Windows Mode safe mode (hit the [F8] key after the BIOS screen occurred while starting your machine). Then enter the following information * including * all blanks and the signs of the quote in "Run" in the start menu and press [Enter] or click OK, then:

    'C:\Downloads\WindowsXP-KB2393802-x86-ENU.exe' / o

After restarting Windows, the update should not be reaffirmed by WU/AU once again - at least after you visited Windows Update via IE and looked for new updates once more.

Hi, I faced the same problem, and now I have corrected this issue.

He was vmnet.ko, at least for me.

    Here's how to solve,

You can find the latest vmnet.ko of /lib/modules/~previous_kernel_version~/misc/vmnet.ko

Copy vmnet.ko into your current/lib/modules/your_current_version/misc folder.

And then run vmware, if you fail at the first, please run again.

If so, you can run vmwre!

I hope this will help you.

    Good day.

  • vmblock compilation fails silently in the 64-bit Fedora 17 comments

I can't compile vmblock for a 64-bit Fedora 17 running guest in version 9.0.1 workstation on a Windows 7 host. I created the guest, installed Fedora inside, updated all the packages to their latest stable versions and installed perl, gcc and kernel-devel. Then I installed VMware Tools and run vmware-config - tools.pl to configure.

The Setup process found CCG my headers of the core (in lib/modules/3.6.6-1.fc17.x86_64/build/include), and it compiles other modules (vmci, vsock, vmhgfs, vmxnet); but when I told him to 'activate' vmblock, he immediately asked the next question of configuration:

    ...

The vmblock allows to drag or copy files between the host and guest in one
Virtual merger or post work.  You want to enable this feature?
    [Yes]

    !!! [EXPERIMENTAL]!
Automatic VMware kernel modules allows automatic construction and installation of
    ...

Then user vmware does not start automatically, and when I try to start it manually, it complains: "can't open/proc/fs/vmblock/dev". Nor the user or X session-cycling (logging out and back in; and restart the session X) makes a difference.

What could be the problem and how can I solve it?

Well, I took a guest of 64-bit Fedora 17 who had been fully updated and then started to stock kernel and issued the following command to cover all the bases before installing VMware Tools:

yum install gcc make binutils perl kernel-devel-`uname -r`

Long story short-everything went very well and without errors and finished with extract following end:

Creating a new boot initrd for the kernel image.
Starting to feel like virtual daemon: fact
    From vmware-tools (via systemctl): [OK]
The configuration of VMware Tools 9.2.2 build-893683 for Linux for this race
    kernel completed successfully.

Then I rebooted (return to stock kernel) and tested copy/paste, shared folders and Drag n Drop and everything worked as expected.

Looking at messages in the viewer of the journal, each entry with "vmware-tools" that he had "[OK]" after her.

So everything worked for me, as expected.  I don't have time tonight to test with the updated kernel and 3rd party however patch I'll try as soon as I can.

Did you find everything about the error message you received?

  • Update the operating system of Sierra blocks Kernel panic

    Hello

IM OS update el capitan in sierra on rMBP 2013. It crashes at the end of the progress bar - panic error of the kernel.

I tried to install the system from the recovery console. The same error occurred.

do you know how to fix it?

    Best regards

    Pawel

You can start in safe mode

    <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1564>

If you can post the report whole kernel panic you can find at:

Reports of kernel panic: Finder-> go-> go to folder->/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

    <http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2546>

    <http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT200553>

The panic report should have "panic" in the name of the file.

And in another reply after the release of EtreCheck

  • Kernel Panic 10.11.4 updated not SUIDGuardNG.kext

    Hello

I'm getting kernel panic errors that occur after I have my Macbook 15 "walk or have closed up to sleep.  When I come back, it is said it is restarted or I have to hard reboot with the power button.  This seems to have started after the update.

I ran the test posted in this discussion two iMacs does not start after the 10.11.4 update.

    Results here: http://pastebin.com/e7b7mzx5

I do not seem SUIDGuardNG.kext on my computer.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

You turn off your AV software before you do the upgrade? I suggest that to get rid of because you do not really need. Here are a few things you can try:

    1. Reset the PRAM
    2. Reset the controller (SMC) system management
    3. Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart your computer again normally. It's slower than a standard home.
    4. Restart the computer. After the chime hold COMMAND and R until the Utility Menu appears. Disk utility and click on the button continue. Disk utility charges and select layouts withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry of the list to one side.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait for the done button to appear. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu.
    5. Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
    6. Download OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 Combo update. Reinstall Combo update.
  • Kernel Panic after put 10.11.4 updated

After the El Capitan 10.11.4 day on App Store, my MacBook Pro 13 "Retina Display fails to restart and gets repeated the kernel panics.

I did the following steps to resolve this problem, and all have failed so far:

    1. launch of the recovery disc and run disk utility check/repair - found no errors. Restart - the kernel panics.

    2. launch disk recovery - run OSX reinstall 10.11.4 - Restart - Kernel Panics again.

I am currently restoring from Time Machine and have the feeling that this fails also to restart.

    Someone at - it suggestions?

  • Panic the kernel constant after the SSD update, what do I do?

I have a Mid 2012 Macbook Pro 13 inch El Capitan running. I updated to the memory of 4 GB to 8 GB last year and recently updated to a Sandisk 240 GB SSD HARD drive. Now whenever my computer goes into a deep sleep, and I have to wake him up, he resets and says the shutdown because of a problem. The ratio is lower. All advice is appreciated!

  • Satellite A660 - driver nVidia kernel crash - even after the update

    Hello

Can anyone help? For the past two weeks, the screen goes black, momentarily, and I get a message that the nVidia kernel driver crashed and recovered.

I've updated the driver located on the Toshiba download page and the problem persists. Any useful suggestions?

Have you tested the common graphics card driver that is part of the Win7?
Uninstall the graphics driver in Device Manager.
Restart the unit. Now go to Device Manager and mark the graphic card.
Then update the driver using the automatic option.
Usually the Win 7 should automatically find the most recent driver available and certified.
