Key to Windows 7 Enterprise?

On my pc I havr windows 7 Enterprise n, I had to reinstall because of a bad update, the person who built my pc has the key, but it says that I have. Anyway is to get a new key cheep?

Windows 7 Enterprise is for organizations only and not available for individual use. If you use a computer that is given to you by your organization, please contact your organization, team IT support for further assistance.

If Windows 7 Enterprise was installed by a person on your personal PC, chances are you could use counterfeit software. In this case, you can either pay for a license of the same software or you can opt for a more recent version (Windows 8.1). Even in this case, you will need to pay for a license to use Microsoft support.

If you have a genuine version of Windows 7 on your computer, you can find a label certificate of authenticity (COA) on the chassis of the PC that has the product key and the edition of Windows being installed. A COA looks like this:

    Hello

Can you please give me a key for Windows 8 Enterprise to try it for 90 days
    I can't install it without a key
    Thank you

It does not require a product key.

Things to know before you start

    • The evaluation version will expire and cannot be upgraded.
    • To upgrade, the assessment must be uninstalled and a retail version of Windows must be reinstalled from your original installation media.
    • Consider running evaluation edition in a virtual environment or install on a partition or separate hard disk. Allow you to upgrade your original Windows installation to Windows 8.
    • Your registration (required) you need to connect with a Microsoft account and provide your name, email address and country.
    • You must activate the product online in 10 days after installation.
    • Once the assessment is installed, you can not pass. To return to an earlier version of Windows, you must do a clean install of your original installation media.

    Activation and operating instructions

    • Back up your files and settings before installing this assessment and again before the expiry of the 90 days.
    • During installation, you will have 10 days to activate this online assessment. Windows prompts you to activate. A product key is not required for this software.
    • You must complete activation before August 15, 2013, to use this assessment.
    • Once you enable it, you have up to 90 days to use the software. You can track the amount of time you have left by referring to the 'watermark' in the lower right corner of the Windows desktop.
    • If you are unable to activate this assessment within the 10-day grace period, or if your trial period expires, the desktop wallpaper becomes black, you'll see a persistent desktop notification that the system is not authentic, and the PC stops every hour of unsaved work lost.
    • After the evaluation period, you will need to replace the operating system on your test computer and reinstall all your programs and data. It is not possible to update the assessment to a licensed version of Windows 8 work. A new installation is required.

    Hello

A manufacturer of recovery disc is designed for a particular brand and computer model; they are not interchangeable.

Here is the link to order the Acer recovery disks:

    http://us-store.Acer.com/RCD/

And if the Acer never included a drive to purchase, you should have a recovery Partition on your hard disk to reinstall Vista to how it was when new.

With an Acer, you press Alt + F10 at startup to start the process of recovery back to new condition.

    See you soon.

  • Latiatude E5570 Windows 7 Enterprise x 64: wireless market / shutdown shortcut key does not work do not

    Hallo,

I have a Latitude E5570, I have installed with Windows 7 Enterprise x 64. The system has an Intel Dual Band Wireless AC8260 card as well as a Bluetooth Intel adapter. I installed the drivers for these network cards (I used the drivers from the Intel site). Adapters work.

My problem is that pressing on FN + print (the wireless keyboard shortcut) only turns on and the Bluetooth adapter, but not the card WiFi. I installed the latest version of the "Dell WLAN Driver HotKey".

I have to install any other software to do this job? If I reinstall the Dell Windows 7 Pro factory-installed, I am able to enable and disable the wireless card using the shortcut key.

Thanks for any help and suggestions,

    OLAF

I could solve this problem by uninstalling the "Dell WLAN Driver HotKey" v1.0.0.5 and installing the previous version v1.0.0.4.

  • Windows 7 Enterprise Serial Key suddenly not valid

    Hi all

I had my W7 Enterprise key for more than 5 years with no problems, making a certain re installs due to various problems (HARD & Mo disk failures).

A few days ago (after battling a virus naughty (and eventually won), my Windows 7 Enterprise tells me now that I am the victim of counterfeit software, my desktop background is black, a message at the bottom right says "Windows 7, Build7601, this copy of windows is not genuine" I am also square box pop ups reminding me this fact regularly.)

I tried to re entry and re activate my legitimate copy of windows nothing helped.

My key is legitimate, I've been through the online help of regular MS who have told me that they have validated the serial key, but can't help me because it's a company that issued my key for me.

Can a MS teach, please advise how I can re entry and re activate my windows, to return to normal as soon as possible.

    Thank you very much.

You certainly have a MAK (Multiple Activation Key) key.

If an organization exceeds the MAK activation limit, then its TI
Professional can contact the activation call center to request
    other activations.

You can try also reactivate by calling Microsoft Volume License Activation Center:

I'm not trying to run either on the USB key, I just need to know how to install from a USB key. I tried Multiboot, grub for DOS and other, but they do not seem to work :/

I am going through a book that uses these two to form Microsoft MCITP: Server 2008 Administrator and if I could install these Via USB, this would save my records and a lot of hassle... basically just for convenience, as everything that I need will be on a stick * lol *.

  • Windows 7 Enterprise to my college for personal computer - bad idea? Activation key?

If I get Windows 7 Enterprise to my college for a personal computer, do need me an activation key? Also, is there reason it would bad get this version of Windows-like when I'm no longer the college, there are problems with my computer?

Thanks in advance for the help!

The way that some colleges set up is, when you graduate you can continue running the license, but if you lose it by formatting the machine or otherwise, you will need to buy a license or reinstall the original license that you ran before the upgrade of the company.

Some colleges use KMS license that requires that the license be reactivated in 180 days. Thus, you need to remove after you graduate, because you will not be able to connect to the school network and turn it back on, which is required by KMS activation.

Where did you get your computer?

Is there a COA sticker that is attached to the system unit? If there is, it should have Windows 7 Professional on this topic. If so, you probably try restore the status of the plant.

    COA certificate of authenticity:

    ??

What is the certificate of authenticity for Windows?

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/what-is-the-Windows-certificate-of-authenticity

New computers that come pre-installed with Windows often have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab. See the manual that came with your PC for instructions on how to reinstall Windows.

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling.

    ------------------------------------

For 5 years, Microsoft made it fairly easy for users of the Windows 7 operating system to get reinstall media. If you have lost your support disc or installation retail collection; either it has been damaged or defective; You can download a copy of the edition that you have licensed from a membership site called Digital River. More recently, Microsoft ended the availability to reinstall media that you can download as a. File ISO in Digital River, which is a digital reproduction of an optical disc.

It was particularly convenient for people who could not easily get the manufacturer's recovery media, did not want to pay the fees required to get or preferred a clean configuration without the software packaged manufacturers or even a recovery partition does not work. It's easy to use, all you had to do was reinstall and reactivate using the product key located on the certificate of authenticity and download all the drivers on the manufacturers website.

Given that this option is no longer available, what are your options? See the article for more details:

How to: What are my options for Windows 7 reinstall media?

Make sure you scroll down and read the section:

What to do if you cannot get your manufacturer recovery media, refuse to use or to buy it or the Microsoft Software Recovery Website does not work?

This is how the recovery partition is accessible to most popular brands...

For Dell, press CTRL + F11 directly after switching on the device

For HP, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For LG, press F11 directly after switching on the device

For Toshiba, press and hold "0" BEFORE and during the power upward

For Acer, press and hold ALT + F10, as soon as you see the logo

For Asus, press F9, as soon as you see the Asus logo.

For Samsung, press F4 to the power upward...

For Fujitsu, press the F8 key directly after the power

Advent, restart your computer. Then, press F10 repeatedly until the message "Starting system recovery"

Sony VAIO, reboot and press "F8" or "F10" repeatedly until the screen "Advanced Boot Options".

If the factory recovery partition is not functional, but the COA sticker is there with the appropriate version and edition of Windows 7, you can try to download and then reinstall Windows 7:

If there is no COA sticker at all, then you best option is to purchase a license of Windows 7:

You can find software OEM System Builder of dozens of online merchants. The current price for OEM Windows 7 Professional Newegg, for example, is $ 140. When I checked a few minutes ago, Amazon offered packages OEM Windows 7 Professional from several vendors at prices ranging from $ 101 to $ 150. When I checked earlier, a package specifically designed for reconditioned PCs cost only $ 50 for a 64-bit copy.

There is no technical limitation to prevent you from using OEM software on your computer, although this software only works for a clean install, not an upgrade. In the past, Microsoft has been remarkably inconsistent in his advice to clients on the question of whether this practice is allowed. (See "is allowed to use Windows OEM on your own PC? • Error activate Windows 7 Enterprise 0xC004C020

Recently, I demanded a restoration of a backup of my Win 7 Enterprise install.

Windows told me that I needed to activate it. During the attempt, I got an error of activation 0xC004C020

I realize that it is a code of volume and the number of activations has been exceeded. However, the problem is that this error code occurs after a restoration that seems to me to be a problem. I don't understand why this should happen in this case. I can't have a new code for this computer as the financial support of our group is limited. Is there something that can be done?

  • Windows 7 Enterprise does not start successfully after re - install

I have just reinstalled Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit with SP1 on my laptop HP 6715 b. (I use 32 bits for any software that I develop is always compatible 32-bit.)

After you have re-installed however, it does not start correctly. What came with windows announce "Starting Windows", but the following animation never - start the four lights that turn and turn into the "Flying Windows Icon.  It then crashes right there - do nothing, no matter how long wait.

If I can put the machine power off and re - start, we are at the "Windows Recovery screen" - because it has not started correctly the last time.  From there, I can choose to make a recovery and return to the last Point of good restoration, i.e. on a freshly installed system before the update of Windows, of course.

If I select "Start Windows normally", it starts however. But it is not 'Normal '. For example I can't finish my "Windows Easy Transfer".  It says that it cannot connect to my domain name - even if I am connected to my area and have been using it to install other software.

Or I can do a Windows Update "normally". The last time I tried, it is gone for hours without finding what be - so I left it overnight. In the morning he had apparently found nothing yet.  However when I turned off the machine and then turn it again - he told me there are 211 updates installed.  WHO has literally all day.

I'm not happy to come back to the last good Restore Point.  I did once.  He has NOT fixed the problem.

    I also tried:

    • Using MSCONFIG to disable all the startup and Services, apart from Microsoft and Kaspersky - no improvement.
    • Do a CHKDSK - revealed nothing.
    • Start in Safe Mode, did change his behavior.  This time I do not have the Herald "Starting Windows".  But turn the machine works again once, return me the 'Windows Recovery screen '.

Ideas anyone? I'm at my wits end.

It's OK guys.  I have it sussed.

He was objecting to the fact that I had my USB with my "Windows Easy Transfer" files on it, plugged during the initialization of the system.

Also, I was wrong in my thinking on how "Windows Error Recovery".  I assumed that he would do all that it checks before proposing to do a system restore.  It is not, it suggests a restore of the system first.  If you say NO to that, then he makes his audit.

What is finally here, is that I finally chose an option before he went into the system recovery.  Then, I waited until he was asked to do a system restore.  I said NO, so he went in it checks.  He went through his analysis and finally concluded it was some "system unspecified device" recently added.

Well I haven't nothing added to my machine for years.  So, I was puzzled.  Then I thought ' well, I don't normally have my key USB is plugged. "  I wonder... ».  I therefore disconnected the USB drive and rebooted the machine.  The rest they say is history.

Hope this sorry tale helps someone else.  It just cost me four days!

  • Windows 7 enterprise - wireless network does not work at the office

I'm a remote worker for a company.  I travel offices across the United States and hit this problem before, but thought it was just a transitory problem.  However, now I am in our headquarters and the problem has resurfaced.  Essentially, networks under Windows 7 Enterprise associates for wireless access points but cannot obtain a DHCP address.  I tried the usual: enough and ipconfig ipconfig / renew, I took it to our support people who confirmed that the configuration is correct, we have tried uninstalling the driver and put back in place, all in vain.  The configuration of the machine is:

    Dell Latitude E6400

    Windows 7 Enterprise x 64

    Wireless: Intel 5300 AGN

    Driver:

    Vendor: Intel

    Version: 12.4.1.4

    Digital signer: Microsoft

The wireless works now in my office at home (I have a Windows 2003, Cisco 1200 AP domain and use WPA2 with PEAP to authenticate).  Please note that the configuration has NOT changed since the last time I was in this office (about 3 weeks ago).  We are a Windows 2008 R2 using NPS area (AFAIK).  Help desk support people are completely baffled.  The good news is that the cable works fine.

I have included the following diagnostic report (with the suppressed SSID):

That's about all.  If anyone can provide any indication as to why it would suddenly stop working, I would appreciate the help to solve this problem.
