Keynote fast time interactive

Hello

I need to export a keynote presentation in quicktime that can be presented with clicks instead of itself as a video. I remember in keynote 09. I see now when I export the self cheek option already clicked in the export options window and nothing else. I need to share my presentation with a team that uses windows. My presenetaioton has a lot of entertainment and that's why I need them to click and experience. I don't want to use the HTML option.

Please help me.

Thank you.

I need to export a keynote presentation in quicktime that can be presented with clicks instead of itself as a video.

Series of version 6 of speech cannot create a QuickTime with manual advance.

Keynote version 5.3 is still able to do it when installed in El Capitan, if you still have access to it on your Mac.

My presentation has a lot of entertainment and that's why I need them to click and experience. I don't want to use the HTML option.

You can export to PowerPoint, if your clients have PowerPoint or PowerPoint player installed on windows machines there.

  • Two MacBooks, 10.11.4, a fast Time Machine backup and a very slow

In our office at home, connected to a Gigabit ethernet on the same switch network, we have two MacBooks.  One is a 2011 MBP with a 1 TB SSD (third party), and is an MBA in 2015 with a 512 GB SSD (Apple).  A Linux server on the same network running Netatalk 3 providing the backup network drives, one for each laptop. The two TImeMachine network drives are on the same physical server drive.  Two laptops running 10.11.4 and darn are configured almost identically.  Neither laptop has no trouble finding the network backup drives, and they begin to run backups without problem.

The old MBP was a workaholic and functioning flawlessly for years, including the fast and regular Time Machine backups. File unique restorations are done with some regularity, and they always worked (I don't think that once done, we use a complete restore of the system from scratch, and it worked).

The new MBA, in contrast, had endless questions from and complementing the backups.  Last night, for example, I decided to simply reformat the drive on the server where there is a material error affecting the MBA (I ran Linux fsck to check the file system before you wipe it off and he's found no errors) and resumed full backups on two laptops.  The MBP has about 600 GB for the first backup, and complete the backup in about 5 hours.

MBA, with about 350 Go back up, was still underway this morning and had less than half the backup is finished. In the console log, he showed he was backing about 5 GB/hour.  Not only that, but the incremental backups took a lot of hours (more than overnight), making it impossible to never complete because it must be packed and taken to work at some point in the morning.  I.e. backups are all simple broken on this MBA.

The MBA connects to the network with a third USB3 (Anker) hub that has a Gigabit Ethernet port on this subject.  I downloaded iperf for Mac and Linux server and found that this is right about 900 Mbps throughput, so I expect an optimal bandwidth is achieved in this regard.

Any ideas what might be happening here?  Diagnosis between the two to see what could be such a radical difference? Tried to change taps the network wiring/switch problems, without change. Reset, no change.

We have two other Macs also running backups in this way, under 10.11.4,, and they were also without problem. Also is it just that an MBA, the most recent of the bunch, problems.

A third-party file server is unsuitable for use with Time Machine, especially if it's your only backup. I know that's not what you want to hear. I know that Time Machine accepts the device as a backup destination. I know that the developer says the device will work with Time Machine, and I also know that it usually seems to work. Except when you are trying to restore and find that you can't.

Apple has published a specification for network devices that works with Time Machine. No third party provider, AFAIK, does meet this specification. They all use the application of Netatalk incomplete, obsolete Apple Filing Protocol.

Apple does not endorse any device third-party network for use with Time Machine. See this support article.

Network backup, use as destination an Apple Time Capsule or an external storage device connected to another Mac or a 802.11ac AirPort base station. Only 802.11ac base stations support time Machine, not older model.

Otherwise, use Time Machine at all. There are other ways to save, although none of them are nowhere near as effective or as well integrated with OS X. I don't have a specific recommendation.

If you are determined to continue to use the device with Time Machine, your only remedy for any problems that result is for the developer (who will blame Apple, neither you nor anyone else but herself.)

  • Captivate 7 timer Interactions advance to slide after timeout

    Hi guys,.

I have a quiz that has a limit of 20 minutes and after 20 minutes I want just to direct the user to a slide with a message. I tried the interaction of the clock and the hourglass and none of them don't advance the user to once expired blade... I missed something? I use a pool of the question, would that cause a problem?

    Thanks in advance

Oh, actually it is perhaps the cause! Especially update question slides often cause of upgrade issues.

  • Backups Time Machine very slow on 2015 MacBook Air

Associated with a topic of discussion between a few days ago (two MacBooks, 10.11.4, a fast Time Machine backup and a very slow), I start a new topic with new information that seem to show it is a problem more general and not related to Time Machine networks.

    Here's the situation:

    • A 2015 MacBook Air, 10.11.4, 8 GB / 512 GB, has extremely slow performance of backup Time Machine, taking 40 hours for the first 300 GB backup and incremental backups for a long time as well
    • TM performance is essentially the same whether on the network (wired Ethernet) or a USB3 external disk
    • When you back up to disk USB3, I confirmed that the information system shows that the port is configured as USB3, not USB2 (nothing else is plugged into the USB port)
    • Tests of bandwidth I/O gross (using dd and iperf) show no problem; the network reached 110 MB/s bandwidth, written network managed at 50 Mbps, external USB3 HD written work at 40-50 MB/s (write hard drive speed limit)
    • 3 other Macs of various ages from 2009-2014 on the same network have no problem at all do backups Time Machine Network; a backup complete first on a 2011 MacBook Pro 500 GB takes 5 hours or more than 10 x faster than the MBA problem
    • Time machine network uses a Linux server running the latest Debian and Netatalk 3.1.8 and the connection is via a USB3/Gigabit adapter, no WiFi, and iperf tests with this arrangement shows 900 MB/s of throughput of the server.  In all cases, the Time Machine and external time Machine Network USB HD have the same symptoms.
    • The problem with MacBook Air is configured the same as the MacBook Pro 2011, which she replaced "daily driver", possible
    • This problem was shown by the MBA since his unboxing conversion, taking 20 hours for his first backup once Setup initially.  Incremental backups now take several hours, leading to interrupted incremental backups and, I believe, databases corrupted backup triggers new full backups that take today the 40 hours.

Using Terminal Server and iostat, Console, etc, I see that there is significant activity e/s for the backup drive on the order of 20 to 40 MB/s for long periods on the MBA during the TM backup, but during that time the average declared backup size as shown in the window in the console and TM is growing by only 5 GB/hour.  This occur even if the backup will the external drive or a network drive. This seems to mean that the I/O bandwidth to and from the disk hard external, only 1/600 contributes to the progress of the backup.  I am sure that there is overload of certain checks and other tasks, but not to a 600-to-1 ratio.

I tried to disable the limitation of the I/O of low priority as shown here: http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/212537/time-machine-ridiculously-slow-a close-el-capitan-upgrade, that helps a bit (maybe 20-30%), but not by a factor of 10 for others.

I have gone through a number of the Time Machine of Pondini troubleshooting steps, but he found nothing corresponding to these symptoms.

The only thing I can conclude is that Time Machine, the application or configuration, on this specific MBA, is down. (A single thought that I wrote this to the top that I have not tried: the MBA and the time MBP running VMware Fusion and have a file of 50 + GB VM; on the MBA that is not excluded from TM backups while on the MBP is)

Does anyone have advice on what to watch next?  In all cases, only one key would be why it seems that only 0.16% of all the bandwidth I/O to the backup drive seems to be actual data backup.

Once again, three other Macs, all running the same 10.11.4, back to the Time Machine Server perfectly and have for years.  Only this new MBA glue as broken out, either to a network drive or an external hard drive USB3.

(A single thought that I wrote this to the top that I have not tried: the MBA and the time MBP running VMware Fusion and have a file of 50 + GB VM; on the MBA that is not excluded from TM backups while on the MBP is)

What happens when you exclude it as the MBP?

  • Measure the time of the rising edges of a digital stream using a USB-6341

    I have a DAQ USB-6341 map.

I use Measurement Studio (writing code in c#) on a Windows 7 computer.

I'm relatively new to the DAQ cards, programming, so I could ask something that is obvious (sorry if this is the case).

I went out a stream of digital pulses to an analog output channel.  I wired this channel to one input of the meter channel.  I am able to measure the number of edges upward to the inlet of the meter channel (since the digial flow is continuous, the number of rising edges increases with time).

I would like a time stamp of each rising transition and I like to keep these timestamps in a table without ever growing (or maybe bin these timestamps in a histogram).

Set up the meter channel to provide the timestamp data? (rather than just count)

    Thank you for your help.

    WRB,

The meter must be able to measure the relative time between the different edges of your signal.  To do this, you will take care to set the meter to measure time.  It will measure how long a full period of your signal takes.  You can configure edge that you want to start with.  You'll want to set up your timed 'implied' measure.  This sets up the meter to automatically take action whenever a period is over.  While it's not exactly a timestamp, you can find the distance between two edges by adding the time periods between the banks in question.

I see another technique that you can use.  This would put the counter to edges of County one of the basics of time of your device (it has 100 KHz, 20 MHz and 100 MHz bases long).  Then configure the task to use your signal as a sample (configuration to use rising edge) clock.  Whenever the song occurs, you will get the number of ticks ticks selected timebase that took place at that time.  One thing to note here, however, is that the counters are 32-bit wide, so your code will have to manage the overthrow of this charge if you are using a fast time and base running for long periods of time.

    Hope that helps,

    Dan

  • Case held (not gel) for some time

So I got 2 analog input via NiMyrio and I got a deal of true/false because if the two signals larger than the trigger point as I put, it will enter in the case of true.

The problem because both signals is put in correspondence with the comparison to very fast time, this means that the real case will happen after this date that is too fast. After that it will change to cuz case misstep signals of time corresponding to the comparison more.

If the case don't give me enough time to fulfill the function inside the housing. (example I want number 5 decremented to number 1 in 5 sec but it could not be done because of the case will turn to false cases like the true case happening very quickly)

There is nothing to do with signals, their charesteristics who behave so

I wonder is anyway I can hold the case for time to complete the function inside as the true case happening too quickly according to the signal.

"I tried" delay "and" wait until the next multiple. They can hold, but at the same time to freeze the program as well which is meaningless cuz she also only freeze function inside I want to perform.

IN summary, I want to keep (no gel) the true case and don't function inside at the time of the operation, as described in the pictures

    Thanks for your help

    Here's what happens:

-Once the case is entered, the delay time say you keep of 100ms

-If the remaining part of the code runs at scenario1:50ms and scenario2: 150ms

-In scenario 1: because of the delay, the case held for 100 ms-50ms = 50ms

-In scenario 2, the code moves after completing its code.

-Until the delay time provides is the case will take minimum of 100 ms.

-Timer is just pointer to the clock and during this time also code runs.

  • Schedule my EI Code returning same time value

So I'm running a VI that communicates with a VISA system that we have built to take action. We strive to obtain the temporal measures for how long it takes the device to run his program and communicate in return. I created an Action CheckTime.vi engine for it but for some reason some get the same results with the measures. Once the unit can enjoy 1 time, sometimes the unit will enjoy 5 times based on what we say to do. I would like to return a measure for each measure 1 sample or 5.

This is where the model is checked to determine if, to take another measure, it is when the timer is initialized.

Once reading the data back from the device VISA, we will look at the time as many times as the number of samples taken. For each sample, a new set of data is read and a new time must be pulled out, but data resulting shows several times the same measure.

Here are the results with 5 samples. I think I should get a different measure for each iteration of the loop for.

Maybe my AE is not correct? Or a weird conversion is in fact somewhere?

I suppose you loop For are an iteration if fast time windows has no time for up. Try to use the timer high resolution instead of duration in seconds.

  • Timer display for a number of slides

Hey once again. Here's the scenario: students take a test in which there are about 5 slides where they write answers. To complete this article, they have 10 minutes. I placed a slide for each question, so I inserted the clock widget on the first slide in the group. However, I have not found a way to change the name of the variable of the widget, or an action that can have the widget shown for these 5 slides. I've upgraded Cp 7 to the newere Cp 8 64-bit

Have you used a real widget or a timer interactions? Name can be changed in the properties panel, on top. And so the clock widget and timing/hourglass interactions may be time for the rest of the project. This blog has been for the widget, but perhaps he can clarify something:

  • Concerns qualities in Photoshop + retina Mac?

I have the edges cut around the created characters and icons on the toolbar. Is the fuse retina ready or have I missed something?

    Allan

Ah, well the user interface looks like it could be a thing of resolution.  Are you on a 4 k monitor/laptop?  Fuse is not only a large part of a dynamic nationwide so just be downressed it seems.

The jaggednes in Photoshop is different, it's because you're basically a preview rendering mode.  It is rendered in 3D graphics real time (fast and interactive, you can move things around and and preview quickly) and ray traced rendering (slow, but calculated lights/shadows/prettiness).  When you move things in Photoshop, you are in live mode is not as pretty.  Once you're composition is further along, you would want to do a ray traced rendering.  To make the press the small render cube icon at the bottom of the properties panel so that you have a 3D layer selected.  To get the best look, you can set the properties of light and even add some lights second for retro-lighting/rimlights, etc.

  • HP AIO printers: "add pages to Scan" for the resolution up to 300 DPI only

    Hello

Want to share some information about "Pages of Scan Add' greater than 300 dpi of resolution.

HP devices will allow, adding a page to ADF documents (CAD) scans at 300 dpi or greater, but not flat scans (which allows you to add a page only up to 300 dpi, anything greater than 300 dpi will not the option 'Add the page analysis').

Flat scans we do not allow adding a page of resolution 600 and one more great given the re-reading of these resolutions.

Because flat scans with > 600 resolutions, we decided to provide the user a faster time to preview and select capacity and area from which scan at high resolution, rather than the entire page.

After that the user has an area forecast and analysis established, then a full analysis of the resolution is performed.  You cannot add a page AND provide these capabilities because you would have to place each of the pages that proofreading is carried out and they will have to be placed exactly where the page was put first for previewing.

Therefore, if you want to have multiple pages to scan, you can set the the Max resolution 300 dpi (which is sufficient for most documents/photos) and use the ADF or Scan glass.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi @AccraBob

    Hello

I'm glad to hear that your problem is solved and everything works fine now.

    Good day!

  • Reboot to slow down or stop on my Satellite L40 - 18R

I have a Toshiba Satellite L40 - 18R laptop I am happy with it, except for a few things, my laptop is the version with a 1.6 GHz - CPU Pentium dual-core, 2 GB of RAM and I bought a 200 GB 7200 RPM Hitachi travelstar (internal). I use Vista Home premium 32-bit (significantly the same as on my other non-Toshiba laptop).

The problem I have is that my other laptop restarts and stops as fast, but my Toshiba is always very slow, sometimes nothing happens before, after about 20 sek, after I clicked on stop or restart and sometimes my Toshiba responds instantly, but takes time before it actually stops or starts to reboot, it is not faster from my other laptop (CPU is faster) , time to start even with my non-Toshiba is faster (it has also 2 GB ram 7200 RPM Hitachi travelstar but only 1.5 GHz Intel Celeron mobile processor). Both have the same software, firewalls and zonealarm and avast 4.8 antivirus (free versions). My Toshiba has only gotten more music, videos and software (that Toshiba has put on the DVD of vista).

What can I do to get my Toshiba to restart, shut down much faster than it doing now? I asked in other Danish forums, but no one could help me!

I used a vista Home premium 32 bit DVD (original, Microsoft) for my laptop Toshiba-no and the Toshiba Vista DVD for my Toshiba.

PS: My vista is a Danish version because my native language is Danish

I think it's the software relatede because with ubuntu (live DVD) I Don t I have this problem.

  • Sound level LAFMax

We strive to get LAFMax (the level of measured weighted maximum noise with a fast time weighting) of recorded sound intensimetrie.  We sampled in two different ways. A game took in a second blocks to 25.6KS / s and the other method is to get a single 20 second block at the same sample rate.

My thought was to run a loop that takes out time to 3200 samples each, gets Leq and keeps track of the maximum value found until the entire block has been analyzed.  For the sample blocks a second, I would have to use up all the blocks of 20.

My problem is that I am very new to LabVIEW programming and I have very little time to devote to learning until I need these results.  If pointers would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi arathbun,

Just to make sure I understand, you are or have already all your data. Now, you want to implement a simple program that will go through all that and follow the max value found of this. Ultimately, this will give the max value of all data, including all the twenty blocks correct?

Also, I believe that it is in fact going to all be developed in LabVIEW? SignalExpress does not provide a lot of data control, it is ideal for simple signals but more complex applications, that's a bit beyond its capabilities.

If you are new to LabVIEW, it would be worth some time by reading some of the simple tutorials to familiarize yourself with the environment and tools.

    http://www.NI.com/academic/students/learnlabview/

From a high-level perspective, looks like you need a loop for to browse your data sets and use a shift register to store an integer value for the max. Your inner loop would take a numeric value and compare it to the current maximum, then select whichever is greater than the new max. You can also store your information in an array and use the min/max properties to get similar information and faster results.

I hope you'll get pointed in the right direction. If you are indeed using LabVIEW, I would recommend that you post in the forums of LabVIEW you will get better more applicable to your questions support.

    Kind regards

  • How low is low wrt LowFrequencyOneCounter

We want to measure the period using CIChannel.CreatePeriodChannel (). The pulses to measure are to about ~ 220 Hz. What is a frequency too high? Obviously, we would like to avoid using two counters for this, if we can avoid.

    Nathan

    Hi Nathan,

The method of low-frequency account database internal time of known frequency for a period of your input signal.  We can then say the period of your signal input with a resolution of ± 1 period of the time base.  This result is reversed to get the frequency of the signal.

The reason that the method is called "low-frequency", is that it is not suitable for frequency signals higher where 1 graduation of the internal time base would represent a significant percentage of the period of the signal.

Depending on your hardware, you would have a different basis of time available.  For example:

    E series: 20 MHz, 100 kHz

    M series: 80 MHz, 20 MHz, 100 kHz

    X sereis: 100 MHz, 20 MHz, 100 kHz

Assume that a map of the E series using the time base of 20 MHz.

    Input signal: 220 Hz

Period of the input signal: 4.5454545... Ms (1 / 220 Hz)

    Base period of time E series: 50 ns (1 / 20 MHz)

So, for each period of your input signal, you will have about 90 k timebase ticks (4.5 ms / 50 LV).  Given that the resolution of the measurement is 1 timebase tick, it gives about 11 ppm the measurement error (1/90 k) at frequencies around 220 Hz.  For most applications 11 ppm should not be a problem (for example instead of 220 Hz 219,9978 Hz).  Many new DAQ (M or X Series) cards have a faster time base that would give an even smaller error.

Given that the accuracy of the time base of the multifunction DAQ cards more is of the order of 50 to 100 ppm, the 11 ppm of resolution of the measure will be probably adapted.

For more information, the X series user manual has a section describing the accuracy of the different methods of starting on page 7-18.  The "Quick sample" method applies only to new equipment as the X series, but other information should focus on most of the other DAQ cards.

In short, 220 Hz is generally not a frequency high enough to justify the use of one of the other methods.  The exception is if you use a Board with a very accurate oscillator (e.g. 6608) and are looking for more specific as possible (e.g. for calibration purposes).

    Best regards
