I have an error message but no clue as to why. The printer made a copy but doesn't my lap top even though it used to be. Why it has stopped working?

Once you have installed the new drivers, the printer should work just fine on the new computer. When you download the drivers, you will want to pay special attention to two things. Cannot install Kodak printer getting error 0 x 00000002
I've been back with computer Kodak and HP - technical support HP laptop with Windows 7 installed. They blame each other and are unable to resolve it without restoring my laptop to original settings (losing all my installed programs). The Kodak printer is an ESP 6150 and it seems all the software and install updates, but when I try to set up the printer, it recognizes the printer is there and immediately I get the error message 0 x 00000002
FINALLY... THE REAL SOLUTION!
Here's the real solution directly from Kodak:
The problem is with Windows 7 64-bit architecture. You will need this MS XML missing from here:
Click on the first download link: msxml.msi (2.0 MB). Download to your desktop or where you can find it easily.
IF (IF) you've already tried installing Kodak with failure, uninstall the printer by clicking Start > Control Panel > programs > uninstall a program and choose all the Kodak software.
Then click START, type RUN. Type services.msc. From there, you can see the list of current services. Find print spooler and select Restart in the upper left corner. If you see Hello or associations with Kodak, restart them. Click on exit.
Return to your MS XML download and double-click it to run it. It will close automatically after installation.
Now go to: http://support.en.kodak.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/17138/selected/true
Download it on your desktop or where you can find it easily.
Double-click it to run it and follow the instructions.
It will work for Kodak EasyShare 5500 AiO as well as other Kodak printers.

I suggest you to status of print spooler service and clear all print queues. Please follow these steps:
a. press Windows + R keys, type services.msc in the run window and press ENTER.
b. double click on "Printer Spooler" in the services list.
c. click on "stop", then click on ok.
d. press Windows + R key, type %WINDIR%\system32\spool\printers in the immediate window and press ENTER.
e. in the window that opens, remove all files in the folder.
f. you can again to get the list of services and double-click "Printer Spooler".
g. make sure that the startup type is automatic.
h. If the service does not, under "Service status", click on "Start" and then click ok.

I contacted Kodak... their support, said this problem is a problem of Firefox because there is no problem with printing of the documents/email using IE... only with Firefox.

Go to your printer manufacturer's Web site > key in your printer model number and operating system.
Uninstall/reinstall your printer using the latest drivers from here your operating system.
Most of the manufacturer will also have troubleshooting steps for you to take registered there, too.
