  (2) type services.msc and press ENTER.

  Try to run defrag again and see what happens. If it does not, or you find, keep it stop

  (1) search for cmd in the start menu.

  (2) right click the command prompt box and choose "Run as Administrator" at the bottom of the screen.

  (3) in the type sfc/scannow in cmd window

  This runs the System File Checker that checks all the problems with the Windows system files. It may take a long time to run.
