L3T34AV #ABA: sound

I'm trying to connect a cassette player to my desire through the headphone jack to listen through the speakers and copy them on laptop Envy but no sound. The headphone jack works because I can hear the music through the headset.

Look... you are basically asking me to teach you how to use audacity. Yes, you must configure the its entry to use the correct port.

All kinds of support on youtube and audacity help sites.

http://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tutorial_selecting_your_recording_device.html

I showed you how to configure the equipment, which is just about everything this Forum is set up to do. The rest is up to you and your ability to learn how to use the audacity software.

  • HP Pavilion x 360-P1F10UA #ABA: short Popping noise through headphones before playing them all the sounds (brand new HP 13-s128nr with Realtek)

    Hello

I hear a sound of pop via helmet whenever I play music or even he plays Windows system sounds.

The noise is short, it is as if once you plug in your headphones.

I believe that it has something to do with power management, because it seems that the sound system goes offline when nothing is done and once it turns to play something it makes noise.

I found similar questions that people have had to face, but none of the worked for me.

    For example:

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-PC-sound-and-audio/HP-Pavilion-G6-2240sq-strange-sound-speaker...

    and

I did the online conversations with HP Media, but they were not able to find a solution. What they were doing was to uninstall/reinstall the drivers who did not work for me.

In my view, that it is a software problem.

I didn't expect that from HP, but I feel a little disappointed in my choice. I hope I can fix and not return.

I would be grateful any suggesion.

Hi, I have been looking for a solution to this problem and found that not using the Realtek HD Audio Manager/B & O stop audio popping. The problem with this driver is that it makes the card its close after 10-20 seconds of no audio output in order to save battery power and to our advantage, there is no way to disable this "feature". What you mean, its break-up, is similar to the helmet being handed over to since the restart of the sound card. I see that the audio is not as great after this fix. To do a choice so audio sacraficing a little quality to not burst or better audio quality and popping. I found these steps of the forums hp here, thanks to SteveCT99.

    1. Go to the Windows Device Manager > sound, video and game controllers section.
    2. In the list of the audio device drivers, look for Realtek High Definition Audio.
    3. Right-click and select disable. Down arrow on this driver, indicating it is disabled. (NOTE: at this point, you will not be able to play music files.)
    4. Right click and select Update driver software.
    5. Select Browse my computer for driver software.
    6. Select Let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
    7. You should see a window that says Select the driver to install for this hardware device. NOTE: If you see a window that says something like This is the best driver for this device, close the window and repeat steps 4, 5 and 6.
    8. In the scheme box, select Audio device high definition (this is the device driver audio substitute) and click Next.
    9. In the Update driver warning window, click Yes. You should see a confirmation with thehigh definition Audio Device display window. Click on Close.
    10. In the list of drivers of audio device in the section audio, video and game controllers, you will notice that the high definition Audio device now displays instead ofHigh Definition Audio Realtek.
    11. When prompted to restart, click Yes

    I hope this helps!

My office is a HP Media Center m1050y (PJ697AV-ABA) CTO of desktop PC. It runs Windows XP. I have a card Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio sound [E480]. The sound is set by default to this card.

One day, I listen and watch a video stream on the Internet and the next day I had no sound. I booted up and I don't think I had sound at first, and then I removed my advertising program. I went to point restaurant the day before but that does not restore the sound.

I reinstalled the drivers and looked at the BIOS splash screen and have tried automatic, enabled and disabled.

I worked through the support HP on the list page:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/bph07154

The speaker system is supplied with the PC. It's a Klipsch loudspeakers and a subwoofer. I had checked the fuse on the box and it was ok. The computer goes into the right speaker which has a small green light. The resisdes pre - amp with the subwoofer. I know power going to the subwoofer because it was hot, and the fuse is ok. Also the green light was carried out.

I could hear also some clicks and pops in time outside so it appeared to work.

Pretext to check hypotheses twice, I pulled an old speaker system and hung. I had sound.

My guess is that the missed preamplifier that has been powered speakers. Also the green light did not shine. What I saw, that was my office of light reflecting on the little green bulb.

  • IDT Audio Codec time Sound speakers but not with headphones on ENVY DV7 series laptop

I bought my laptop not more than two months ago. Its perfectly played through my helmet literally the day before yesterday.

Only two changes have occurred since then, first of all I accidentally plugged my headphones into the external microphone jack, then I updated the 'Music' for Windows 8 PC application.

After my sound stopped working. I restored my PC to a restore point dated before its no longer works in my helmet, however resonates once again that in my speakers (when my headphones are disconnected). When I plug my headphones, sound no longer plays in my speakers but no sound from my headphones either.

  • the sound card for the Pavilion Slimline S3300T will allow me to record audio from the internet?

I have a Pavilion Slimline S3300T. KC833AV prod # #ABA. OS vista Home Premium 32 bit.  The sound card will allow me to record audio directly from the internet?

The sound card is not big thing to do with it, but there are third party software out there that will allow you to do.

    WaveTap is recommended by LifeHacker.

Here is an article on their website explaining how to use it:

WavTap Audio recordings of your computer by pressing a keyboard shortcut

  • Nothing new sound card

I just installed a map his (DX PCI Express 7.1, driver version 6.12.8.1730, which says that my system is up to date) and now have no sound.

I suspect a lack of connecting the power supply, even if I plugged in the power connector (the indicator light on the map shows red).

Are there jumpers on the motherboard, or the other switches that must be moved to power the card? If Yes, where are they, and how they should be configured?

    Here are my computer details:

(1.) the Version number and operating system: Microsoft Windows 7 Edition Home Premium - Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601.
    • Manufacturer: HP-Pavilion
    • Model: VT637AAR-ABA HPE-112Y
    • Type: PC x 64

    Details of system 2.)
    • Processor: AMD Athlon (TM) II X 4 logical processors, 4 Lossnay, 2800 Mhz, processor 4 925
    • Installed RAM: 8.00 GB (16.0 GB of virtual memory available)

He gave me the courage of my convictions, that was enough to pass me.

Map of the D2 is different from the map of the DX, but the procedure at least convinced me that there is not all the switches on any of the cables, and tracing cables and the dissolution has confirmed.

Lesson learned: do not use a power adapter cable unless you absolutely must. The cable adapter supplied with the card turned out to be faulty, but I totally didn't need. I just had to work in a tighter space around the wires.

  • Adding (not replace) sound card

Each computer previously owned included extra slots for expansion cards - not if my Pavilion HPE-112Y, product #VT637AAR-ABA. What's worse, the sound Manager is not a separate card but is integrated into the motherboard - and this device is upward. I still can't play audio files via Windows Media Player, Quicktime, or other programs, but the audio device apparently incorrectly reports the type of file to other programs. This sabotaged my ability to load sound in Poser 8 that I could do otherwise.

With the help of support staff to ask, I ruled out all other possibilities (I just downloaded and installed the latest codec for Windows 7 pack, which excluded the last alternative cause. "I'm NOT lack of codecs).

Replace the welded sound device is out of the question, so how can I add a sound card?

    Madmilt, welcome to the forum.

This is the page for Specifications of the motherboard of the computer.  Look at the section called "Expansion Slots.  It shows that you have 3 each PCI Express x 1 slots for a sound card.  These locations are faster than the former PCI ports.   The map in the link I provided has hundreds of good reviews and is rated at 4 eggs with an excellent price. Read the reviews to see what users have to say about it. They will give you the straight scoop without exaggeration of the manufacturer.

You can try to completely uninstall the audio device driver and put it back in place before buying a card.
