• How to clear the lack of ringtones on iPhone 6s?

  When I go to general-> Storage-> sounds, he says I have 480ko worth of tones downloaded, but I can't find them anywhere. Even on iTunes, it says I have 4 songs (480ko) on my iPhone. I tried to look for them under on my camera, but my music, audio books, tones, etc. are all empty. It doesn't make sense, because I never even downloaded all the songs or tones in the first place. This has been bothering me for awhile now since I've had this problem with my old iPhone, also. I guess that when I restored my iPhone backups, these "songs" also transferred. Is it possible to get rid of them?

  I see that you have some missing tones, that you are looking to get rid of it on your iPhone. The first step would be to restore the missing ringtones, once you have done, you can then keep or delete them. The following article should help you with the first step.

  I recently updated to the new OS via the Desktop Manager.  Shortly after, I noticed missing calls and messages.  Works of alert vibrate & the light flashes but no sound.  I expeirienced something similar but different on the last day, where all of the ringtones and sounds were ereased from the phone, the resolution was to return to the previous update and re apply update.

  After a number of reboots battery I unfortunately had no success to correct the fault.  I note that the beeps keys also disappear when you try to make a call.  I tried to play audio files and have no sound unless I move to the speaker considered that perhaps the speaker has failed or the question has disabled the main speaker, guessing the ringtone it would use... the phone works fine IE the speaker beside the ear works OK but no evidence of any audio of the one on the back.  In my hours of exploration and proding the unit, I discovered that the mute button seems to do nothing...

  Can anyone offer some advice or suggest a solution.  I have searched a little on the forum and found similar, but not the same descriptions, explored all the suggestions but came short

  Would be grateful for any ideas!

  Have found the problem and solved.

  I disassembled the phone thinking I could have damage from the water to the speaker or maybe just dislodged it.

  and found... metal fillings/s & tiny pieces of swarth, I worked around a lot of heavy & engineering maritime sites last year, completely blocking and the speaker on the back.  I gently wiped the debris away with compressed air... re editing and it worked!

  Phone seems fine now and I can go back to enjoy the new update, which, in my opinion, is streets ahead in its functionality and presentation...  In this case I have to admit I took the lead from the start and thought RIM update was the problem, unfortunately, this has apparently been the case a few times to me in the past but not this time.

  In any case thank you for your help and maybe this will solve some other lack of people too.

• Ringtones

  I recently updated my iPhone iOS 10 and then again 10.0.2 6Plus - but I encounter the same problem.

  The ringtones that I attributed to specific contacts do not play, the phone only plays the default ringtone. All ringtones work when I press them, and if I put these default ringtones they also work.

  I did have this problem before the update to ios 10.

  I just bought a new 7plus of iPhone and have the same problem. I tried to install it as a new phone and also restore the backup and reset all settings, but have the same problem.

  Any advice?

• Make a ringtone on new iTunes - Help!

  I'm doing a song I recently bought into a ringtone for my iPhone 6 s, and each unique tutorial directs turn you into an AAC file, but with the new iTunes, when you right click on the song there no option to turn it into an AAC file. In fact, when I checked the file type of the song, its listed as a "purchased AAC audio file", then, what do you do for a song is already an AAC? Also, I chose a section of the song, which is less than thirty seconds, he saved and still even if he doesn't play that this article, still lists the song duration as full 6 min, not the new article 28 sec, so I even when I duplicate and turn it into a .m4r and do all the other steps , it will not transfer because it is too long.

  I do not use the new iTunes so I can't test anything.  You've always been able to convert AAC AAC; for example, when wanting a lower bitrate copy.

  Everyone comes to a point of putting a particular to a particular contact ringtone, when actually, this contact name, and the ringtone is all along with the default tone? This, for me started when I updated my iPhone 6 s more iOS 10...

  The following steps can solve device erratic behavior assuming that it isn't really a hardware problem. They assume that all the content you want on the device in your lending library for the restoration. If not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device first. I would also recommend you copy everything off of the camera, if you have not already.

  1. Backup device.
  2. Restoration as a new device.
  3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

  Use a backup encrypted if you want to keep passwords, wi - fi settings, history and health web data as appropriate.

  I used the same approach when Siri has ceased to be able to call my contacts and none the less drastic reset would fix it.

  Before we get too far, it's always a good idea to check that your 'secret' button just above your volume controls is not engaged. If you see that the yellow indicator go ahead and switch to the other position to turn it off.

  Alternatively, you can drag up from the bottom of the screen and make sure that the control of "do not disturb" is disabled.

  Since the update iPhone 6s and later (Sierra for iMac) iMac and iOS10 for the iPhone 6 s, I lost all my ringtones bought/on measure.  I see them on my iMac in my iTunes under tones library, but they do not appear in contacts (iMac or iPhone), sounds, or Contacts on my iPhone; If they aren't in my clock application.  How can I get back them?

  What about custom ringtones does not work? Are you talking about ringtones purchased from iTunes, or ringtones you created yourself? I have a long list of self-made custom ringtones on my 6 iPhone with iOS 10, and they work fine. Have what troubleshooting you tried?
