  Hi team,

  I have a question about the customer approval task. In the workflow, there are two approval tasks: customer approval task (shown available for common to approve client portal) and the task (see sm9 for officer to approve). We wonder when opening a session a request and attach an object, the object could be shown on the customer approval task in the Web page of the portal? And how?

  Then you should be able to display the list of attachments of application in the customer portal approval form.

  Is a little more difficult for the approver to open the attachment - it must have permissions to view the query. You can do this by configuring the roles system (preferred method) or by changing the query .

• Received an Error Message using the Widget featured in publication of news about the locations are too large to rasterize.  Cannot preview page.

  I get an Error Message when previewing a page that contains the Widget for Composition of new functionality.  The Message says that the locations are too large to rasterize and I need to make it smaller in size.  I tried all this burt, nothing worked.

  This error occurs generally if/when there is a block of text high who happens to use a system font (and so must be output as an image). If that is the question, go to a Web font (always the first choice when you select a font to use on the web) or a 'web safe' font for all the text in the frame will prevent the error.

  If that doesn't seem to be the issue, we will need more information about the specific page which generates the error.

• Where can I learn about the new features in iOS 9.3?

  I saw two different articles about the new features in the latest iPhone OS... but nowhere explained how to find and use these features.

  I get a lot more information using my Google friend than what Apple provides when I find myself in your situation. Enter it in Google (or Bing or Yahoo or whatever you use) search and you will come up with a bunch of informative articles.

• Complaining about the delivery of the software/drivers in a new computer.

  About 2 weeks ago, I bought a Satellite A660.
  After you open the box and all first from this computer, it was cluttered with tons of useless software.
  Each restart of usually take far too long for such a powerful computer.
  Take a look at the list of processes, there was a huge amount of current process.
  What is all this! ??? What are you doing in my computer! ??
  After some research, I discovered that a few of them what they made, and the rest are still unknown to me.
  And those that I discovered was absolutely unnecessary and superfluous.
  After each start up, the HARD drive makes a frantic scratching to treat all the softwareit is charged.
  Despite the huge amount of ongoing process, the remote was not working.

  Why Toshiba offers a computer brand new powerful and enjoyable in this condition! ???

  I decided to install a new OWN Windows 7 Ultimate.
  I spent the last 2 weeks trying to do.
  The drivers and the software trick is to be a NIGHTMARE.
  I spent last week by train to get things to work again... and I'm about to give up.

  The drivers are a mess... some are undocumented, others do not work, others do nothing.
  There is no way of knowing what is REALLY necessary and which do not.
  There are unknown tasks / undocumented (this is a brand new 800 euros; computer... Why should I undocumented patches inside)
  Drivers Toshiba page there are 57 thingies to download the Toshiba... you just may not INCLUDE adjustments to the installation of the drivers.

  When I asked for the support that they gave me a "Toshiba Software install" program.
  An automated tool that will make my work computer! Finally!
  After you downloaded and installed all the stuff she needed, this is the result:
  * The Panel buttons not working do not.
  * No ECO feature
  * Stil remote control does not
  * Hardware acceleration with the version of the incorrect driver, makes the games run at a very low speed.
  * Port Ethernet does not exist.
  * Webcam does not

  I use computers for more than 17 years and NEVER had such troubles, the confussion and the refectory with the drivers.
  I'm a systems engineer and software developer, so I know a little about the software and drivers.
  And never had so much trouble to make a system work fully.
  I spent hours reading forums and vague or incomplete information everywhere on web of Toshiba.
  I just want a computer that works simply, effectively, according to the price I paid for it.
  Do not have a PROBLEM of 2 weeks.

  Despite the material is excellent, the part of the drivers/software is a mess.
  I'm just tired and will return it and ask for a refund.

  In general I put t read long assignments, but the topic of this thread was interesting and I made the decision to read what you have to say about software pre-installed.

  I put t know what do you want now. Did you just searched for a place where you can write about it or you need assistance?

  In any case, I can understand you if you think that there are a bunch of useless stuff but as experienced system engineer, you know very well how this works and what the laptop manufacturers are offering. We are here on the Toshiba forum and write about Toshiba, but there is not much difference if you check the other laptop manufacturers.

  Optimization of the operating system is not so complicated and in 30 minutes, you can have perfect OS pre-installed (the recovery image optimization). Okay, your decision was clean installation of the OS. It's OK, but you know very well you have to install a lot of drivers and Toshiba specific stuff in addition one by one and this must be done in the proper installation order.

  In general I think you didn't raise enough information on your new machine. In s manuals you will find a description of each tool of Toshiba and utility with exact explanation that you can do with it.
  On the one hand you want to have only necessary things, but later complain of missing features. Problem is that buttons face, utility eco, remote control, webcam and all other hardware components are controlled with different Toshiba tools and utilities so they must be active in the background and it's certainly not useless.
  I put t know what else to say.
  I just hope that you created the recovery DVDs until you started the clean install of the OS.

  If you have made the decision to return to your laptop back any further discussion will probably not help you much.

  A few questions about the new Yoga 10 HD + that I hope you can answer.

  I bought the former model, last year. Love the design and long battery life, but a few major questions made me return.

  • Somewhere that I've read that it can not read NTFS on USB so I guess that's the same thing with a NTFS formatted microSD card?
  • Can it read exFAT formatted microSD cards?
  • Anyone who has questions about the audio via bluetooth?
    (I know that BT is not exactly High End HiFi but the old 10 Yoga for some obscure reason - most likely a driver problem which nobody cared to fix - rang * very * worst with visibly distortion while both my phone and a Tablet noname cheap I have zero about fidelity - any of my devices bluetooth audio) I tried aptX or not)

  So to avoid buying it back it also I really I would like to see if I can get my questions answered before buy you.

  While I love the form factor and long term issues above are only two Mayor dealbreakers for me. Bad audio quality = no joy listen to spotify, local etc. MP3s. not of NTFS or exFAT = some great movies.

  My old noname android Tablet really could use an upgrade so I'm really curious it may be, or I should watch the competition and will be form factor and battery LIFE.

  I mean with Linux Android root, it should be a no-brainer to support at least when it comes to royalties unlike NTFS or exFAT where it * might * have some trouble with Microsoft.

  I used a USB through a USB OTG cable. NTFS or exFAT have been recognized by the Tablet PC. FAT32 is seems to be the preference.

But my laptop is 4 GB of RAM, 1920 x 1080 HD display, 300 GB HARD drive at 5400 RPM (cost me a lot - it's a SONY) and have been works very well even with vista, the operating system highly complainted by many others. I think it would be a waste to buy a new computer, including the so-called net-books and i - PAD, I know, they are beautiful and sexy, but looking at their record, I was speechless. Yet knowing 32bits was maximum and MS has already announced that they stopped support for Vista SP1, consider that SP2 is expected online.

  3. how long do you 32-bit based can last? Should I increase the RAM of 4 GB to 6 GB and upgrade to Windows 8?

  Yes it will work to buy a copy upgrade of Windows 8.   This is a custom installation rather than an upgrade in place once you switch between 32-bit and 64-bit.  However you can still save money by buying the upgrade license.

  More important is that all the drivers you need will be available.  Your computer manufacturer will not write drivers for Windows 8 because the computer has been out of production far too long.

  Windows 8 is a significant departure from previous versions and I suggest that you upgrade to Windows 7 If you are tired of Vista or wait until you buy a new computer before Windows 8.  You read the discussions on the forums of Windows 8 CP.  At this point, there are many critics of Windows 8 due to the removal of the Start button and Start Menu.  Many people dislike having to rely on style Metro Screen start for many things.  It is becoming a major concern.

  To navigate to the Windows 8 CP forums use in the middle of the dropdown at the top of this forum page.

  Note:  Microsoft has not announced that there will be copies upgrade for Windows 8.  Microsoft has already stopped providing copies of upgrade of Office is not yet clear what will be available for 8.

• Confused about the capacity of the HARD drive on my new Equium L350

  I'm rather confused (normal state) about the capacity of my hard disk. This is supposed to be 120 GB but... On 'My computer', it shows that I have 23 GB of 55.7 left GB on Vista C and 49.8 54.5 on E of data that is delivered to about 110 GB.

  I'm already about 10 GB missing but maybe that is taken up with hidden files. More worrying is that I have so little space on Vista C. Can I save files on the data partition, or is that a no-no? So far, everything I've loaded on it goes into Vista C.

  I agree with InvaderZim.

  But there should also be another reason why the two partitions of HARD drive are smaller than the whole HARD disk.

  I assume you are using the Vista operating system.
  Vista uses hidden for some files from recovery partition.
  If you check the Disk Manager, and you should see all available on your HARD disk partitions.

  Adobe are largely correct that no matter how you set the screen resolution in Photoshop-except when you want to use the display 'size print'. Photoshop only cares about pixels and dots per inch review applies only when you print an image, but sometimes you don't want to see on the screen shows a picture with precision the size in inches or in centimeters and to do that you need to know the number of pixels per inch of your screen. Its not true 72 dpi is very outdated. If you are running 1920 x 1080 on a big flat screen figure will be around 80ppi (pixels/inch). It is only when the retina and other screens ultra high definition are used 72 dpi will start to look at the lowest.

  There are formulas to calculate the density of the screen, but an easy way is a screen like this calculator

  You just put to the screen size and resolution that you use and it displays a result

  

  As you can see a pretty big screen with an ordinary resolution is not special as density of screens is concerned. Once you have this number you put in the screen resolution box in preferences

  

  Now, when you want to see your image on the screen to size, it will print all you need to do is call the view "print size". The 81ppi parameter should not make a difference in another mode.

  

• How to make a formal complaint about the low level of support?

  Recently, Adobe has cancelled my account because of no payment, it's because I've lost my credit card linked to my subscription. I spent a lot of time trying to update my account payment settings online, but it does not work. I tried to contact someone via the support portal to help me update my payment method by using my new card. They sent me a link to update my card details as I did. During my next payment is due I always charged to my old card and receive an invoice by e-mail (this is not usual). Then I get another email telling me that my account was cancelled. When I check my bank account I was accused $76,13 by adobe (a strange amount). I contacted someone through the portal of support and asked why I had been charged this total and why my subscription has been cancelled. After providing all the payment information for him I had, he said that he had no record of it in his system. He said while "in this case I have to escalate the case to the next level, he will get back to you in 2-3 days by e-mail. I have not received email for more than a week. When I received an email in East of "support non-response' who said ' I have asked the team concerned to study in what respect $76,13 billed and will come back to you once we hear from the team." I answered twice and provided for my bank information confirming the money deducted from my account by adobe and have had no response in 3 days.

  I think that this level of support is not entirely satisfactory and that a problem like mine should be treated with a higher level of care by the support team. It shouldn't take more than a week to send me an email telling me that they had someone looking into it. I asked my membership be reactivated with no response.

  Does anyone know of a number of direct contact or email so that I can reach out to someone who may be able to solve my problem at a faster rate? and also to make a formal complaint about the abuse by management.

• Question about the Introduction of the video in After Effects

  Hey guys, I'm new to the Forum!

  I want to keep it's short enough for you guys so I'll try to make it as brief as possible. Here's my question/problem:

  In Adobe After Effects CS6, I created an intro for my videos on YouTube using a Premium battlefield model I found on YouTube and made it in a file format video 1080 p H.264 (.mp4) rendered by default "best settings". The introductory video lasts not more than 5 seconds. Having little knowledge of Adobe After Effects, I intend to learn more of the program using it as my default video editing (from Sony Vegas Pro 12) software and I seem to have a little drama.

  For those who regularly put introductions in their videos, I have a question for you.

  When I did a video today with my introduction in place (I had taken the introduction already made and placed in my composition and worked around it), but I noticed that the model I used was only a 1280 x 720 one. Making the resolution a bit distorted and 'big' than usual. My question is, should I render it again the introduction as well as the introductory model or continue to do what I did today is the introduction already rendered and move around?

  What do guys do generally?

  Imagine a movement that is only 30 minutes long. Now imagine that the time between the cups about 6 seconds. It's 30 minutes multiplied by 60 seconds divided by 6 seconds. This means that your AE comp, excluding the effects, titles or other things going to have 300 layers staggered on the time line for 30 minutes. Now, imagine that you want to change shooting 244 6 seconds 9 seconds. Which leaves you only 56 layers to slide around.

  Add to restore each preview and preview of the deadline for the memory live available and you'll see why AE is a program that I recently used to create a second shot 9 of 64 layers for a commercial, but I used first Pro is what I used to cut only 9 seconds to 30 seconds of spot.

• LR4 - book Module - none of the custom formats?  Automatic layout works only on odd pages?  Bug reports.  Thoughts.

  I'm a photographer wedding and Portrait Professional & thought it may be useful to others & Adobe to share some thoughts and questions.

  I just ordered LR4 yesterday 3/7, as soon as I saw he is out =) I'll have the software delivered to me, but in the meantime, I downloaded the trial version of the LR4 which I started to play with today.  BTW is identical to the full version trial version but active only for 30 days?  Or some of its limited features?

  I had a few questions about the book module.  Some of them I think that are bugs.

  • Is it possible to enter in custom formats?  I don't see that see there is an option for 5 sizes and impossible to find another option.
  • I tested the automatic layout function.  It automatically layout, but only on odd pages, even pages are left in white.  Could not find a way to settle this.  (Updated, I like the white page feature, it gives extra room for manoeuvre to change the page layouts and for me it's easier to delete a page that Add.)
  • When you add favorite layouts I can't add page spreads to my favorites.
  • When I press tab to get rid of the side windows, I can't scroll further down in the book.
  • The navigation on the left and right arrow buttons do not directly work in the main screen.

  It would be nice to have more control over preferences in the book such as the particular custom formats Module.  As it is, it feels unusually restrictive.  That said I am very excited by the possibilities that this may cause.  From now on I'd still certainly the final layout in PS, but I hope I do the initial design approximate layout using this new book module.  Looks like it could save a lot of time and be much easier to do this step in PS.

  Let me first, I'm not an expert on ledger. Yes, I used it for a while, but many components of the module are much too dark for my taste. In fact, you have identified certain aspects that left me scratching my head for the months, not hours or days.

  1. Custom formats is not directly supported at the present time, but I understand that users will be able to create their own page/models using Adobe Illustrator. I can't say when this facility will be available well.
  2. To change a page layout (left/right pages, etc.), you need open the Preset automatic page layout editor. To do this, choose the form Edit Auto Preset layout from the menu editor drop-down preset (directly under the header Panel automatic layout)
  3. Have noticed this myslef, I don't remember if it is a bug or a design limit.
  4. Not seeing this problem, it works very well on Mac OS X. try clicking on the scroll bar to make it active, it may help.
  5. Yet once again, not seeing this problem, the left and right buttons in the main window of content move from one page to another.

  It is also interesting to note, in case you have not discovered yet, preferences located under the menu book book. This is where you define what metadata are used to auto fill in the areas of text (for example, title or legend).

  I expect that one or more of the other pre release testers who spent more time than me in this module will probably be able to fill the gaps.

• Why finder hide Documents and office files in the home directory of the user by activating iCloud drive? What about the behavior of Time Machine backup or third-party applications?

  I'm under MacOS Sierra. I am connected to my iCloud account. I activated the option Desktop and Documents, but I did NOT activate the option optimize Mac storage, because I wanted to make sure that all my files would be available locally, just in case, I would need to work without an internet connection.

  -J' noticed there now a menu iCloud in my sidebar in the Finder, with links to Documents and desktop.

  -J' also noticed that Documents is no longer presented in my favorites in my side bar of the Finder.

  -This last suggests that files saved in 'Documents' are not saved more on my HD... but only in iCloud, which isn't what I want.

  -Then, sailing in the Finder Macintosh HD/users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are more visible, as if these files are not saved in my home folder most. Which raises the question: where are My Documents and files on my HD, so they are still?

  -Using a shell session in the terminal and again navigate to/Users / 'My account' /, I noticed that my Documents and desktop folders are still there. Which suggest that records and records of office reside actually still in my home folder under users, but Finder actually hide it and present them as being stored in iCloud only disc. It's very confusing.

  This raises several questions:

  -In the first place, why Apple hide Documents and office files in the directory? Why not view these folders in iCloud and directory?

  -Whence the iCloud folder or drive, reside actually on my hard drive?

  -What time Machine. Is it still back up my document files and folders?

  -What games third-party app mirroring backup of My Documents files and folders? They still work properly? (I use Livedrive backup and Sugarsync for files mirrored across several macs).

  -How can I understand that Apple is doing with my folders and files? Some users might be happy with the iCloud drive concept, without worrying about how it works, but I don't take chances, and I want to keep a good understanding about the functioning of my system.

  Could someone explain what is exactly happening?

  With office and selected Documents, access to these files are now in the iCloud Drive, not in your home folder.

  My guess would be that they do not appear in your file because it would be confusing for many people to make them in two places.

  If you want in the Favorites, open iCloud Drive and drag them in the sidebar here.

  All about iCloud drive has been saved on your Mac. With the exception of the office and the Documents, they are in ~/Library/Mobile Documents. However, if you choose optimized storage, older documents are removed from your Mac. I don't know what is "old".

  ~/Documents and ~/desktop have new metadata indicating probably Finder does not display them in a Finder window, only in iCloud drive. They are not hidden in one of the normal methods of unix.

  I have not tested Time Machine or any other backup program. The folder still exist in your directory home, and they still have all the files, I don't think that changes anything.
