LAP1522 antenna extension cable

Hello

I need to install LAP1522 inside and outside ANT5180V-R. Can I use the AIR-CAB010LL-N cable for this purpose for a 3mts extension? Wanted to confirm if this cable in fact has N-type connector and can be used with LAP1522.

Joe

Joe,

That should work fine.  According to http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/wireless/ps7183/ps469/product_data_sheet09186a008022b11b.html , this cable has a "N" of 90 degrees and a right type connector "N".

See you soon,.

  • Effect on correction of the CJC to use copper instead of type thermocouple extension cables

Hello people. It is is a kind of "phenomenological" question, lumping together a bunch of real problems. Type of hope that someone had experience try this and can give me an advice.

I'm looking to make measurements of temperature relatively high speed with very fine wire of type K or N thermocouples.

I will be very many TC - about 75 in quantity and therefore will be, if it works well enough, wire the asymmetrical (I trading accuracy for amount in light of the SCB-two 68).

My complete data acquisition system is:

    Computer PXI

    PXI-6225

    (Qty 2) SCB-68

QUESTION 1: Any recommendations in the configuration of these two NRSE or GRSE? The device, I am close to (but not electrically in contact with) is completely without merit (experience of combustion). TC fine wire is indeed very thin, and their not armoured lengths will be about 12 ". There is no significant EMF/EMI around my experience. I will experiment but just wanted to know if anyone can rule something here...

    QUESTION 2:

    Important points:

    • I want to use type N for additional above K to my temperature range and also because that N-type are available in smaller caliber (0.003 ") and stability welded end to end.
    • Unfortunately, I n ' t has a bunch of N type connectors - if I have to use/buy the N type connectors this is a significant cost (see the stop).
    • My Setup has the TC in the physical location of 'groups' of 7. Given the asymmetric configuration, I have 7 anodes and 1 single "reason" for each "group" - for a set of 8 wires out of each "group".
    • I need to connect on the order of 80-wire in both SCB-68. I try to minimize the number of threads that I have to deal with.
    • Omega does not sell single conductor wire anode and cathode for the N-type as they do for K-type. They sell only duplex son.
    • Omega is also not sell armored bundles of type N, as they do in K-type
    • If I use type N TC and I use the real N type extension wire, it will have to be duplex (because of two previous points) - it's something like 80 PAIRS of wiring, with one of the sons of the cathode on most of the wires not used (because of the asymmetrical configuration).

It seems that I must consider the following compromise:

Use the TC type desired N and treat approximately 80 pairs of duplex wire extension of type N OR less desired TC type K and purchase grouped, shielded wiring to minimize the mess of wiring GOLD copper use extension (WHAT?)...

Yes! Why can't I use the copper wire extension to the fine N TC of the cable type and connect to the TC with a kind of nonmetallic connector (like screws nylon) or solder? The attraction here is that I could use the signal wire 8 drivers together, to each of my TC 'groups '. This would reduce and clean my wiring and not need to buy all type N connectors (TC would be wired, no connector involved).

It seems to me that I could simply set up the cold welding (CSF) on board the SCB-68 fixed to work on N-type. Copper wire would result of the SCB-68 the TC type N. No metal connectors would participate. Thusly, being only one junctions P/OMEGA-copper and copper/OMEGA-N to deal with the CCM. This sounds like it would be exactly the same as a N-type wiring directly into the SCB-68, except that there may be error between the temperature reading to the CJCS and the junction of alloy copper/OMEGA real. This won't be a significant error because the two locations will be very close in temperature.

If this "mistake" of temperature becomes a concern I can mount a TC that is unique to the copper/TC junction and make my own corrections (I think...)

Here is a little schematic text (without taking into account all shunt connections in the CSR circuits...):

Any circuit anode/channel: SCB-68 Terminal-> extension copper-> (direct connection via the non-metallic connector) OMEGA-P of the N type TC

Common ground circuit/channel: SCB-68 Terminal-> extension copper-> (direct connection via the non-metallic connector) OMEGA-N to the N type TC

This idea implies that the circuit board within the SCB-68 has copper conductors, such as the addition of copper extension wire would not create an additional junction.

Anyone tried this? Can someone offer me some ideas?

    THANK YOU in advance!

Thanks for the very useful reply. Yes, I forgot to mention that the lengths of wire extension will be the order of 1 m, then resistance extension must be low, even if common ground is used as part of an arrangement of asymmetrical circuit.

    ...

    Here's my last logic!

    • If my experience shows that the single-ended NRSE GRSE arrangement response or "match" the differential response conservative, I will choose asymmetric for more sampling points.
    • Since I know the extension wire / TC to the ASE will be nearly isothermal with the CBS itself, I would like to use the extensions of copper and accept (and possibly correct?) the error based on the temperature. I would like to use threads, as this I need 7 + and 1 ground by grouping of 7 TC to my DUT (Recalling)-> http://www.newark.com/jsp/content/printCatalog.jsp?cat=c127&page=1199&display=zoom
    • If during the examination of the previous point, I find that copper extensions are NOT practical and I need to use tank extensions of TC-metal all the way, then I choose a TC type K on an N-type. The reason is that there are many more options for tanks, bundled extension cable type K (N-type is apparently a sort of new and not very popular). However if copper extensions are possible, then I'll use the TC type N, motivated by their superior high temperature oxidizing atmosphere stability and the fact that I can get them in a configuration welded end to end to 0.003 "caliber!

If none of this logic seems faulty or unrealistic, I would appreciate it really more input! I don't know that it will be a lot of work!

    Thank you once again,

    -Dan

    Dan,

I've marked the important phrase what you're actually doing is moving the CCM of the CBS for the TC/copper connection. Any difference in temperature will directly add to the error.

However, don't try to save the copper with your approach to 7 + 1, ask IT for another 12 m Ethernetcable guys more and go with 7 * 2 + 1 pair of reserve and make the summary at or near the CBS. IF you need a differntial measument system later, you need to rebuild all connections. (And not just add a new cable for all conical fittings, it is the twisted pair that makes the magic Yes, same vor 1 m!) Remember that you are dealing with µV! And since you want to quick reads without filter a lot of way, do not try to save $10 to about 12 m of cable. Somehow I have the feeling that you try you anyway

  • Microphone C20 length Max extension cable

    Nice day

I would like to know if it will be possible to extend the standard microphone C20 cable last 15 m...

    Thank you!

    Hey Martin

We can use the extension for the microphones to C20. Even its listed in the parts and components Guide:

    CTS-QSC20-MIC =

20 and 7.5 m of performance Mic cable attached

    CAB-MIC20-EXT =

    Extension cable 10 m for CTS-QSC20-MIC, 3.5 mm F 3.5 mm M

So we can say that you can use the microphone with 2 extension = 37.5 meters, a little more of 90 feet.

    Thank you

  • Installation of the USB 2.0 extension cable failure, and I am on Windows 7.

    I recently bought a foot 6 ' Male/female' USB extension cable, and it's USB 2.0.
I bought it because my headphones would not properly work because of a problem in my computer and I thought that an extension can help to stop this problem.
So, I try to install, but it never does.
Does anyone know why there are installation problems?
Also, Yes, the helmet works if I plug it directly on the computer, but with some errors.

    Hi guy,

I understand that the USB 2.0 extension cable does not work on your computer.

    1. What is Gets the error message when you connect the headphones to the computer?
2 have you tried plugging the USB cable into another computer?
    3. have you tried it with different USB ports?
    4. What is the brand and model of the computer and a USB headset?
    5. did you of recent changes to the computer?

Extension cable does not need a driver, this is just a thread. USB cables come in varying degrees of quality. The length of the cable can also be important, because the voltage of the equipment can be reduced by the resistance of the cable. Some devices specify 6 feet or less while others may work correctly with 12 people or more.

I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I suggest to run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

I suggest to open a session on the helmet manufacturer's Web site and install the latest drivers for the headset, if the problem persists.

You can also check the USB device drivers updated using windows update. See below the help link

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

If the edge of the question persists I'll ask allows you to check the chipset driver updates you find on the manufacturer's website. The chipset drivers normally integrate USB controller drivers as well.

  • C20 QuickSet camera Extension Cable

Hi - did someone knows if it is possible to extend the length of the camera on a quick set C20 cable please?

I wonder if it is possible in a manner similar to the MXP used solution of extension cables 3 x 6, 5 m more power... as well as a HDMI cable block extended, so maybe?

    Kind regards
    Richard

I do not know the length, but the PrecisionHDMC camera Guide may contain requirements.  I know that HDMI has a maximum length, although I don't know if the cable has a VISCA since it's just power/control.  You could also connect to independent power of the camera, so all you have to focus on command.  The guide also contains the pinout you are looking for as well.

Hi, I used accidentally American extension (instead of the European duckhead) cable with the brick european power... my MacBook (retina, early 2015) not load with everything first, but after having used the correct duckhead, it worked... could I have damaged something? I see one is 120V and that European is estimated at 240 v or something

As long as the mixture was before the MagSafe connects to the computer , you should be fine

I used my American MBP in European and Asian countries with just a plug suitable for the wall socket

The MagSafe supports the current / voltage conversion problems

  • Extension cable VGA resolution problems

Pavilion 6507c with a monitor HP 2010, Windows 7 64 bit.  I'm trying to separate the CPU and the monitor by a few feet more that allows the original VGA cable 6 '.  Have tried a more original extension and also one long cable. With something else that the short original cable, the computer no longer recognizes the monitor - it shows as generic non - PnP and will not 1600:900, so the image is stretched. Re-installed 2010 drivers - happens always generic.

Is it possible to extend the monitor distance without sacrificing the correct resolution?

I wouldn't be too concerned getting message no signal when the PC is shut down down.  With a longer cable, the signal can degrade more quickly causing the no signal message during the shutdown process.

Displays work by the monitor by sending EDID for the PC and this information is part of how the PC identifies what resolutions are available for this monitor.  The original cable allows this information to be sent from the monitor to the PC.  The PC then keeps this information which is what allows to operate with the longer cable after swap cable VGA 6' for a longer or extended.  Once the system is shut down, the EDID information is lost.  That is why it does not work once the system is stopped and started with a prolonged or long cable.

You mentioned a significant difference between cables: the absence of a ferrite core.  This entry from Wikipedia explains ferrites (aka: ferrite core) and what use they have.  Essentially, it reduces the level of interference which could cause the loss before reaching the PC of the EDID information.  This is more noticeable when you use a long cable, so this could be due to the lack of nucleus of ferrite.  However, the adapter indicated in my previous post should correct the problem of resolution (However, it would still be listed as a generic PnP monitor).

I would weigh the cost of a cable with core of ferrite against the cost of obtaining an EDID emulator and select the cheapest option.  I know an EDID emulator will rectify this issue, but I can't say that making a cable with ferrite core will fix this problem with 100% certainty.  I do not know have a ferrite core may cause problems of signal quality.  If you can still exchange the cables, then that may be the least expensive option.

    Let me know what happens.

Please fix asap Canon and don't blame someone else cause this is without a doubt you do!

You are right. After trying new camera on pc and mac, we tried a friends 5 d mkiii with the extension and it works. So, after spending several hours on it, I think it's the camera itself.

    Hello team,

I own a LINKSYS WUSB100 usb adapter I used for my wifes desktop... I can connect to my home network to surf the net, but the signal is weak...  I decided to buy a 25' EXTNESION USB CABLE, which comes with a MALE AND FEMALE ends... I simply PLUGGED the cable on my DESK and PLUG the other end of the USB cable from the LINKSYS WUSB100 card and waiting for the COMPUTER TO RECOGNIZE the card without any problems... To MY SURPRISE, the computer would not have hired the LINKSYS CARD... He said "the search for new deivce, peripheral found but not hired"(Something like that)... in any case the desktype sees the device, but willl not hired there as a LINKSYS and I cannot search FRO all networks... As soon as I unplug the LINKSYS of the cable and plug it into the USB port of the computer - BAM my network comes up with a weak signal... Can anyone understand this? My cable is too long?

Thanks a lot for all inpiut!

There is a standard length for the cable. It will not work with 20 foot extension... Try the cable up to 3-4 feet short and check.

  • External antenna extension

    Hello!

I was wondering if the port on the back of the Droid 2 was for the cellular network or Wifi. (The port that I am curious about is circled on the included photo).

And in addition to that, what type of connector RF is?

    Thanks in advance.

    -DavidLinSuperstar

    Just an update on this:

I asked one of my co-workers more technical and discovered that there are actually two connectors on the Droid 2.

One that I circled is actually to the cellular network.

There is another connector which is located under the back cover where is the logo "with Google", and that the connector is for testing of wifi.

Thank you both for your help.

  • Wireless kit PA3298U-1MPC and Satellite A30 - where is the antenna cable?

    Hello
    I have Toshiba Satellite A30 (part No. PSA33A - 87 M 34) which was bought in Australia.
I just bought the PA3298U-1MPC wireless connection kit a couple of days. The installation guide says I should connect two cables. But I can't find them. There are no cables in the compartment. There are no antennas in both wireless kit.
So the first question is if I should have antennas in wireless kit (I'm not sure that he has not lost the seller).
If these cables must be in Notepad then I need help to find them.
I thank very you much for any help.

    Hello

If the unit has a wireless antenna, the cables are usually there and visible immediately when the lid of the WLAN card is removed. From your description, I assume that your device is not ready WLAN.

  • The Pavilion Elite HPE475 need an external antenna to a wireless connection?

I just bought this machine and have had problems with a poor quality since the wireless signal. HP technical team came up with all sorts of different explanations, and I even had to send for the "repair" because one of them think that the wireless card was defective. The last time it's because he needs an antenna.

Can someone confirm if this machine wireless card requires an antenna to be connected to the two screws Golden at the back of the computer? What is the answer, or just another diversion?

I was not sent an antenna with the computer, it may be a mistake the part of HP. I can connect to the internet, but usually get that two bars on the signal, while my old computer has always had five bars, as do other computers on the network. The connection keeps dropping out and is extremely slow to load at times.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello

I suggest that you take a look at what came in the box.

The low-profile wireless network card should have with an antenna and two cables with connectors from red and blue to differentiate the connection to the wireless card.

The service center may be assuming that you already know that... All the wireless cards that come with desktop computers have a connected external antenna with cable to the wireless card.

This image is an example. Some cards equipped with antennas that screw directly on the gold screws. Most 802.11 b/g/n card look like this.

Please report anything that is on the label with bar code on the back of your PC, except the serial number. The HPE475 is not a complete description of a PC.
