LAPTOP DOES NOT NOT WITH THE PRINTER
I HAVE A HP LAPTOP AND A WIRELESS HP C309 PRINTER. I CHANGED MY INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER AND COMPUTER AND PRINTER AS WELL TO RECOGNIZE MY NEW WIFI BUT STILL PRINTS NO LAPTOP ORDERS.
The printer & laptop may have a different IP address with the old wireless router and the laptop is still looking for this printer /IP address. Remove the printer from the laptop and restart the installation as if you were doing it for the first time.

HP officejet 6600 my laptop does not recognize the printer
My laptop does not recognize the printer any longer. It will recognize the fax on the printer but not the printer itself. Can you help me? I have two currencies on my laptop. HP officejet 6600 and hp officejet 6600 network. Even printing for both. One network is the fax. I'm not clear what is the question. I can't even download drivers or updates for it.
There are two 6600's in the list, a fax and a printer, because the full feature software and drivers have drivers for both. If you do not use the fax, you can remove devices and printers.

My laptop does not recognize my printer as a scanner
ORIGINAL TITLE: scanning
Can I scan a document to my laptop via a wireless connection?
My laptop does not recognize my printer as a scanner!Hello
Most wireless with ability to scan printers also offer a scan wireless.
The features of the printer and Scanner are designed by the manufacturer of the OEM printer so
You must check with their support, their drivers and documentation online and ask for their
Forums about known issues (if any). OEM for the printer manufacturer is solely responsible for the
functioning of the printer and their drivers. Not really a Windows problem.
I hope this helps.

My laptop is Pressario V2000. My laptop does not read the dvd, but another laptop reads the same dvd. PL is the solution. Thank you
Try another DVD to verify that your laptop can read at least the other DVD. If he can't play other DVD's then you need to replace the DVD - CD ROM drive supplied with your Pressario.
Another thing you can try is to check fingerprints or scratches on the DVD, some DVD players are more sensitive than others.

4380 all-in-one printer does not detect the print cartridge
My all-in-one printer (model 4380 vivera, bought in Switzerland) does not detect the print cartridges. I traded the color cartridge with that of another, older than I was and now everything is fine. I don't know when, this problem will arise again. The last time I was so frustrated that I bought another printer (HP 2050) which seems to work without problems. I have unplugged, replugged and clean the cartridges with filtered water. The problem may arise at any time. Help, please. Thank you.
I'm sorry you have a problem with your ink not detected.
The problem may be because the printer is of the Switzerland and the ink cartridges are NOT. The printer will only accept cartridges of the same region/country.
For example, if you are in the United States and buy a printer and the cartridges come from GERMANY, he cannot read. Will suit most, but some of the contacts are different causing not well read the cartridge from the printer.

My laptop does not recognize the DVD / CD player or D drive more. It is built in and included with the computer is a Dell. Can't use it because the computer can't find it. All ideas

If it just happened all of a sudden, you can restore the registry files of the system in working order by following option n ° 1 on this page. If this does not work, you can be reasonably sure that the configuration of the system is not the problem and start looking into other possibilities as a broken drive or a bad connection inside the cable.

Laptop does not recognize the usb mouse or the internal speakers.
The laptop does not recognize the USB mouse. I have re installed the drivers from the site of the constructor (HP), but it still does not work.
In addition, the internal Laptop speakers no longer work. There is no sound coming out of the laptop and it does not recognize the external headphones plugged into the headphone jack.
I ran several troubleshooting utilities (audio playback, FixIt) and they are no help.

Put HP1012 in place. The installation process does not recognize the printer.
I've made sure the device is on and the usb cable is connected. Printer worked fine until I needed to reinstall the windows xp operating system. Now reinstall the printer set up the software does not recognize the printer. Before reinstalling the operating system, the printer worked great even if it is quite old. I use the original CD game in the installation process.
Problem solved. I plugged the printer into different usb port cable and the computer immediately recognized the printer. Previously, I had ports different usb, but not the one where he worked. I have 7 usb ports on this computer, and it seems that one does not work.

HP Envy 27: Printer does not finish the print job
Computer is HP Envy 27. Have a for printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 wireless connection. Have old ACER desktop also wireless to the same printer. Print jobs larger than 3 pages, the old ACER works very well, but envy does not. The printer stops after only 3 or 4 or 5 printed pages. Sometimes I hear a small beep in the printer when the printer stops printing. Also the desire does not eliminate the queue when the print job is finished. Entered in the configuration advanced on the computer for printing options and checked to see if that option (not playoff jobs in queue) has been verified. It was not the case. So I don't know why it is keeping the job in the queue. When we first got the urge last year, he had the printing problem, although she probably had the problem of the queue.

my touch pad on my laptop does not move the pointer, but when I have my mouse wireless pluged in it will work I was told I could have disabled the touch pad which I have to do to activate it again?
Hi dove2k,
Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.
You will need to enable the touchpad on the laptop itself.
Find the area of the touch pad, you will find a button to enable or disable the touchpad.
If the step above doesn't, try this step.
Go to control panel > mouse > device settings tab
Click(or to disable) Notes:
On some models, there is a keyboard shortcut to enable or disable the touchpad. For example, ACER, just do Fn + F7.
You can click on Reset device if none of these solutions work.If you still can't touch pad to work, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer for more information.
