If it just happened all of a sudden, you can restore the registry files of the system in working order by following option n ° 1 on this page. If this does not work, you can be reasonably sure that the configuration of the system is not the problem and start looking into other possibilities as a broken drive or a bad connection inside the cable.

Laptop does not recognize the usb mouse or the internal speakers.
The laptop does not recognize the USB mouse. I have re installed the drivers from the site of the constructor (HP), but it still does not work.
In addition, the internal Laptop speakers no longer work. There is no sound coming out of the laptop and it does not recognize the external headphones plugged into the headphone jack.
I ran several troubleshooting utilities (audio playback, FixIt) and they are no help.

HP officejet 6600 my laptop does not recognize the printer
My laptop does not recognize the printer any longer. It will recognize the fax on the printer but not the printer itself. Can you help me? I have two currencies on my laptop. HP officejet 6600 and hp officejet 6600 network. Even printing for both. One network is the fax. I'm not clear what is the question. I can't even download drivers or updates for it.
There are two 6600's in the list, a fax and a printer, because the full feature software and drivers have drivers for both. If you do not use the fax, you can remove devices and printers.

Satellite 1900 (PS192E) - does not recognize the CD/DVD
Hey all,.
I just bought a Toshiba Satellite 1900 (PS192E) and place an old 20 GB HDD from an old laptop.
When I boot, the screen is in VGA 16 color mode, it recognizes the DVD player, but does not recognize the CD/DVD when inserted. I tried to install and run the utility "driver robot" Toshibas, but the display is such that I see all of the screen to start the search.
If there is someone out there who could give me some advice, I would be extremely grateful.
Thank you very much
