laptop for PC connection
Hi, I had a windows XP 8000Tecra, I know that you can connect with each other, I have a 5M Cat 5 Cable (network cable - RJ45) UPT, is the right cable for the job, can you give me the correct sequence to put this system in place. Thank you best regards Allan
Hi Allan,
your 5 M Cat 5 cable UPT is false! you need a crossover cable to connect two PC without a hub or switch.
To set up a new connection, you must go to START - settings - WIRELESS card - create a new connection
Then an assistant that you follow began. On the second screen, you will need to choose the Advanced connections and then connect directly to another computer. Then choose PC is the host and the other is the Client!
You must do this wizard for each 2 PCs!
A crossover cable can be purchased in electronic shops with the Department of PC!
Rudi
PS: Why post you this question several tims?

I try to connect my Acer Vista laptop for HP Officejet 7310 printer using a wireless connection. The printer is connected to a Dell XPS running Windows 7. Is there a way to do this?
Hello
Printers use a built-in wireless card and plug it into a power source, not your network or computer. After turning on the printer, you must refer to the documentation that came with the printer to set up a wireless connection for each computer.
I suggest you to download and install drivers from the link below

I recently changed the laptops on my old laptop I downloaded after payment of the annual fee for her photoshop and lightroom. Since the evolution of the laptop when I connect it it says my trial has expired, but I paid and it won't let me download. Lightroom opens just enough to add a watermark and photoshop, not at all. I need to know how to download both I paid and that they were working on my other laptop

Hall 13: HP pavilion laptop does not connect to the printer HP envy range 7640
My laptop does not connect to my HP envy printer. It keeps saying the driver is not available or is it ready, but does not connect. I know the printer is working because I can print from my phone. Anyone know the driver I need to download or what to do?
Hello;
Let me welcome you on the HP forums!
I read your post about the problems with your Envy 7640 in Win10 printer and wanted to help. The problem is that by default HP print drivers installed by the upgrade of Win10 often do not work. I have two HP printers and neither one worked after the Win10 upgrade. We also receive a lot of messages of other people with the same problems.
I linked the page drivers and software for the Win10 drivers for your printer: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-7640-e-all-in-one-printer-series/6617267/model/6617268#Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930C7You must download and install the full feature software and drivers for the printer.
Then unplug the printer and install the software.
Do reconnect the printer until the installation program invited to do so.
Once the installation is complete, restart.
You should then be able to use your printer in Win10.
Good luck

I am trying to download the drivers customized laptops, connected to a xerox business center. My question is what I have to install them directly on laptops, or could I use a centralized machine and just let laptops are access pilots it or do I need to install drivers on each individual computer?
The central machine is XP, laptops are all machines in W7.
Hello
The computer is connected to a domain network?
You must install individual drivers for computers connected to the Xerox business center.
If it's on a domain network, I suggest you to contact the TechNet Forums for any other help.

Laptop will not connect to my home wireless network
I've had my laptop for a few months and my home network wireless also. My laptop has always worked perfectly until last night, I was in the living room and my phone cut because it ran out of battery. I went to restart, and when I did, NO network could be found, and several others usually appear outside my home network. The wireless switch is turned on and I rebooted the computer several times, I ran the wizards and shooters of boredom, I started the wireless zero configuration, but nothing happens. everything he says is "wireless networks could not be found", and when I click on the message, a black box appears with a message saying "windows has encountered an illegal instruction. I don't know what to do. my laptop model is a Sony Vaio, but that's what I know. My ipod connects to the wireless perfectly, so I know its my laptop that needs fixing.

Hi all.
I'm really sorry to post this question, I must have read 100 other threads on this topic, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.
I have a home set wireless network in place, which may not have a lot of problems with it that I have a laptop W7 which has a perfect wireless connection, and also our TV connect when you want, as do our phones and Xbox.
We bought a second hand Acer aspire laptop for our daughter. It is running Vista Edition family Basic. Even if she had the factory reset done on this, because we can connect to the router with an ethernet cable and it works very well, we managed to ensure that all updates of Windows etc are all complete.
When trying to connect wirelessly, it says connection successful, but it is to a Public unidentified network, and there is no Internet. Also, even if it says Local access, we cannot connect to the router settings page is.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the built-in wireless adapter and updated the driver to do this, he says that he is as up-to-date as possible.
I checked that DHCP is enabled, we tried dynamic and static IP addresses, we have disabled and re ipv6 enabled, we used the command prompt to reset winsock and stack ip, I looked into msconfig services for service # Id_String1.6844f930_1628_4223_b5cc_5bb94b879762 # Apple off but it isn't here.
I have a real dislike for Norton / products McAfee and there is none of these on the laptop. We will install Comodo Internet Security, Eusing Registry Cleaner, Spybot S & D and Spyware Blaster as soon as the wireless is configured and that the Windows Firewall is disabled.
We also have many turns of the spin off the coast and laptops, etc. and deactivation and activation of the adapter.
It seems that all the usual solutions for the lack of connection are not the culprits this time.

Norton or McAfee pre-mstalled of recovery of the manufacturer media?
If so, did you uninstall it AND run the tool to remove the appropriate product manufacturer?
Download the Norton removal by https://www-secure.symantec.com/norton-support/jsp/help-solutions.jsp?lg=english&ct=united+states&docid=20080710133834EN&product=home&version=1&pvid=f-home
Close all other programs, and then run the tool. When it is complete, reboot the machine if she wants it or not.
