  I have a 2000 HP (HP 2000 - 329WM Notebook PC) with the AMD Radeon HD 6310 graphics and only a VGA connector out. Someone please tell me what it is EXACTLY that I need to connect it to my input HDMI 1 (PC) on my TV. Manual of the TV shows that I need a headphone to RCA cable for audio input on the TV, and I know that works (and great at that) but what don't I need for the vidio part of the madia. I read a lot of posts (not only in this forum) and it seems there are idiots who do not know from outside. I just want to know EXACTLY what WILL make this conversion. Tired of watching Netflix on the laptop when I this largest big screen that I should be able to use.

  I am facing the same problem of typical like many others on this forum, I bought the new laptop Hp 15A 103tx and installed windows 7 64-bit... but I am not able to connect with any device bluetooth through my laptop. Not able to find drivers for my bluetooth 4.0 I went through a lot of similar position, but unfortunately they are not specific to the model of my own laptop so I had to register and make a post.

  whenever I try downoad driver using windows update, it always leaves some components without a driver... with my current setup, I'm stuck with a loop infintite seeking for any bluetooth device to connect to. In addition, no device can search for my laptop as well. I don't know how to solve this problem. any help would be appreciated.

  I understand that because of someone hacking your computer, you need to do a recovery, but they have deleted your recovery manager and you have not created a recovery media. You have checked the HP site but could not find the option to buy the recovery disk. Whether you use Windows 10 previously it will be registered with Microsoft. You can download the tool for creating Windows 10 media to load Windows 10 on a USB key. You can then use to install Windows 10. Tool for creating Windows Media 10 . Once this was accomplished, make all your Windows updates and download and install the HP Support Assistant . Now run the HP Support Assistant to facilitate updates of HP.

• Tecra M5: Need support USB2 for SATA HDD

  My beautiful new Tecra M5 uses a SATA drive, but most USB enclosures still accept only IDE drives. My question is: does anyone know of a door-USB2 for a SATA drive?

  I would like a similar disk box USB2 to backup my Tecra laptop by cloning the full hard drive (using Casper XP). If/when the primary drive fails, or some other calamity, all strikes do I have to do is to replace the internal drive with USB support. (It is not so common, but my hard drive failed once, and the cloned drive saved the day).

  Until I can find a SATA support I use Acronis True Image to backup on an IDE drive images in a USB support. Even if it seems effective, I'd rather have a cloned drive because it is easier to make a recovery dummy to prove that the procedure works without risking to damage the data on the primary disk simultaneously.

  As far as I know the external uses the IDE interface.
  I have not seen cases of HARD drive external for a SATA HDD.
  But you can also use the external USB case with an IDE interface for backups. But you need a new HARD drive. But the HARD drive are not very expensive (depends on the size of the HARD disk)
  You can save the backup image to a file and then you can place the file on the external HARD drive.
  If something goes wrong with your OS, so you can use the backup file to restore your operating system.

  What will work restores your computer to its original factory state using HP recovery media.  It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

  I recently bought a computer acer laptop, e1-531 22/05/2013. just after a week of purchase, I found that the driver for the WiFi was not provided with the machine. After expiry of the period of one month the antivirus software installed. To make it worse, I started getting a message that says that the installed version of windows 7 ultimate is not authentic. the product id is - *. I contacted the dealer and was shameless and flatly acknowledged that it is a pirated copy that has been installed. I contacted the seller, and as expected, they refused to help or replace the unit or software. I contacted acer support without successful outcome now. I'm really surprised that acer would distribute and sell software counterfeit unbeknownst to customers.

  So, apparently, I need help solving this issueand get the original soundcards I had right to.

  There are a number of trails open for you.  If it were me, I'd Sue actions are the following.

  First of all maybe you should discover Acer if the retailer is a retailer of Acer "official."

  Second, you could go to the retailer and insist on an exchange for a virgin machine IE without mods/repairs by the retailer.

  Third, you could make the Acer OB and with force to discuss with them what is possible to satisfy you. Threaten to report consumption of Government if necessary.

  My best guess is that the machine that you got is a statement that the retailer 'fixed upwards' and sold as a new machine.

  Regardless, I would avoid certainly dealing with this retailer ever again.

  I didn't use a drive Caddy to install 2nd HD as my laptop has a built-in space to install a 2nd HD. All I need is a hard drive carrier. This support is no longer available because I contacted all online sources recommended to me and was infomed that the part is no longer available.

  So, I used the original media as a copy and one on the metal plate shaped in the same configuration as the original.

  I bought a laptop HP Pavilion G6 just a couple of months, and I had this problem since the beginning. I looked at some other forums and it seems that many people have had the same problem with the laptop is plugged in, but does not support.

  This problem is really frustrating, as the laptop is connected to the power source and in the laptop, but half the time it is not yet registered as being connected. The battery is discharged. Once or twice the battery completely exhausted (while it's plugged in) and then was charged 100% next time, it was shot on(???!!!).

  Could you tell me if there is some sort of programming or software failure, or if it could be a hardware failure. I have run the checker battery several times and each time he found no problems with it. As the laptop sometimes acknowledges that it is indeed connected (but does not load) personally, I think that it is not a problem with the AC adapter.

  You can help us help you by displaying the following information.

  1. the complete model number and the laptop Nr - see web document this HPif you're not sure you how to locate the product number or model number.

  2. the full version and the name of the operating system you use (IE Windows 7 64-bit).

  Go to Device Manager. (type device in the search programs and files and click on Device Manager, as shown in the following image)

  

  Expand the device of Batteries.

  Right-click on the compatible Microsoft ACPI control method battery and select uninstall.

  Do the same with the device adapter Microsoft.

  

  After uninstalling the devices, then you can right-click on one of the devices in the Device Manager and select and click on check for material changes.  When you have done this, the operating system will reinstall drivers for the devices.

  I wish I had some good news for you, but I did not...

  Ordinarily, I advise to use HP recovery media to restore your PC to its original state. That would erase the entire disk, format the drive and install the operating system, drivers and utilities HP.
  
  Unfortunately, there is no support of HP recovery related to HP for your PC Product Page. This means that the stock HP is no longer the recovery media for your PC. They store any long recovery media for older PCs.
  
  Given that HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you should check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/
