Laptop HP 15-r029wm: limited Internet access Windows 10

Installed Windows 10 8.1 soundcards home last week.  Connected to the Internet for a few days and now I get the "limited access - IPv4 not configured correctly.  I'm not computer savy depth, but how it is fixed? How should we re - register (or make you re-enter) IPv4?   Internet works on the rest of the House.

I don't know what build windows 10, I received (automatic download on computer).  I have a laptop HP-15 r029wm using a Qualcomm-Atheros 802.11 AR9485 WiFi adapter b/g/n.  An operating system to 64-bit.

I looked everywhere and nothing has helped.  Microsoft does not have the question.   If you have a solution that I'd love to know about it.

Your network adapter does not have in the right IP address to connect to the network.

Bottom left, right click on the Start button and select network connections.

Right-click your wireless adapter and select Properties.

Click on where it says Internet Protocol Version 4, and then click Properties.

Make sure that the IP address get and get the DNS server is automatically checked. If she only has not this. If you are still having problems, click the wireless at the lower right of the screen, click on the name of your wireless network and select Disconnect. Reset your modem and the wireless router and reconnect.

    Hi Jeannie,

Thanks for posting the query on the Microsoft Community Forums.

According to the description, you get a limited internet access using wireless internet connetion.

    1. What is the brand and model of the computer?

    2. who is the antivirus installed on the computer program?

You can perform the steps and check.

    Method 1:

Run the network troubleshooter and perform the steps described in the article:

Windows wireless and wired network connection problems

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-Windows

Method 2: Disable the anti-virus software if installed some and check.

    Caution:

Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

I use AVG Anti-virus if it's important. other ideas would be very appreciated. and how can I change a public network at my home netowrk in this case?

    Thank you

    Hello

It may be an idea to set up a static IP address to see if it will connect you.

Open windows control panel and open network and sharing Center.  Click on change settings card and in the next window, right click on your wireless connection, and then select Properties.  Left click on Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) to highlight (click on the wording and not with the beat box) and then click the properties button.  Click the radio button next to "use IP address, then enter the following values. following

    IP 192.168.1.110

    Subnet mask 255.255.255.0

    Default gateway 192.168.1.1

In addition, assign the following DNS server address

Preferred DNS 208.67.222.222 Server (these belong to OpenDNS)

    Auxiliary DNS 208.67.220.220 Server

After entering these values, don't forget to click OK for each open window, before restarting the laptop.

  • Wireless cause: the network connection from the laptop to the router, but internet access comes and goes through procedures to 'fix '.

The Dell laptop I bought is little used, not refurbished a downsizing Corporation.  I bought a refurbished by Cisco, Cisco Linksys router.  I can't stay on the internet for any period of time.  At the time that I open the browser, after the wireless connection, it goes your 'connected' to 'no internet access.  If I go through the diagnosis and fix it, it says I'm connected, but 'no Internet' returns quickly.  It shows a diagram of the connectivity of the laptop to the router but not to the internet router.  I had a second router refurb sent, and it does the same thing.

This is all new to me (wireless and mobile), so my words my being turned off, but I wonder if it might be the wireless card, or network card (or is it just a different name for the router).  I mean, it's something in the laptop.  If I plug the DSL directly into the laptop, I have a perfect internet connection, so I did not thing is my provider.

    Any help/suggestions appreciated!

My issue was with the ATT modem not set to fill mode.  modem was not accept what he said was the router.

I run vista on one of my round ups and it connects to the net, then after a few hours disconnects off the coast of the other, but limited with connective connected say can you tell me what I can do. I run the wifi and wifi hub is only 5 meters. and my hub as I have windows 7 on my other laptop and it works fine. Please let me know how to fix...

    Try the following steps:

    ·                         Go to the website of the manufacturer of your router > make sure you have the latest Firmware in Vista for it.

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/notebook > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for it last network adapters Vista drivers > download/install the.

    Try without commitment TCP/IPv6:

If you still have internet connection probs, one thing to try is the separation of the TCP/IPv6 (which is done by going to network connection > right click > properties > it uncheck > OK.)

  • Laptop connected to 2 ISP networks (Ethernet + wireless) - Wireless Connection shows a "yellow Triangle" - no Internet access

I am facing a network unusual problem with the following network configuration

    1. laptop connected to isps1 via Ethernet - 192.168.0.x (serves as router NAT and DHCP)
    2. same laptop connected to ISP2 network Wi - Fi - 10.1.1.x (router does NAT and DHCP)
3 WiFi connection shows a "yellow Triangle" - no Internet access

    Note:

    1. neither the connections require Sign-In to access the Internet
2 Ethernet is defined on top to control configuration\reseau and Internet\Network Connections\Advanced Settings\Adapters and links
    3 operating system: Windows 7 64-bit SP1
    4. the Wi - Fi network has access to the Internet as other wireless clients can connect to the Internet using the same.
    5. here is the weird part - if I disable the Ethernet adapter on this laptop, the "yellow Triangle" - no Internet access on the wireless connection disappears and he now reports "Internet access".

    6. If I now activate the Ethernet back, connection Wi - Fi card always displays "Internet access"
    7. If I reboot, the problem returns - new shows a "yellow Triangle" wireless connection - no Internet access

    6. the question is not specific to this machine that the same issue is reproducible on another computer with 64-bit Windows 8 installed.

This is expected behavior that has an explanation?
I can provide more information if necessary.

Your comments and suggestions are welcome.

    Hello Mohit,

In this case, you may need to update your network card. Please visit the website of the manufacturer of your system and get the updated driver.

Why do I need internet access to use lightroom? When I go to a lot of photos and want to do captive capture with my laptop, creative cloud wonder for internet access / wireless, which i do not always have and therefore cannot use the application.

Thank God I have an older version of lightroom on my computer, or else I would be screwed and embarrassed in front of the customer.

can someone help me with this?

You can use the CC without connecting to the internet for up to 90 days unless you have some jobs as send photos to your clients or to others.

Connect to Adobe CC at least once within 90 days is required to keep the active CC.

Have you tested different channels WLan (1-11) and different standard WLan (802.11 A/B/G/N)
