  • Problems of replacement of Windows 8 with Windows 7 on a laptop HP 2000-bf69WM

I just bought a laptop HP 2000 - bf69WM during the Black Friday at Wal-Mart last night sale. This morning, I pulled and he went right to the trying to repair right out of the box. I managed to get him to stop and I went to system restore and managed to get it started. Needless to say, I'm not at all impressed with Windows 8. I've heard of all the problems users have had with it. I tried to install Windows 7 on it, but it will not be installed. The BIOS shows Windows 8 as the operating system. How can I dump this CRAP of Windows 8 and install Windows 7 on this computer. It is not a bad machine, I wouldn't get rid of him during another screw up Microsoft.

try to remove the disc of windows 7 on reboot and put it back in after the windows 7 logo too good luck finding the network always in trouble with drivers.

I need to download all the drivers for my laptop HP original so that they can be reinstalled on a new hard drive.

The old hard drive has failed.  A new hard drive and Windows 7 64-bit OS have already been installed.

The HP manages Web site locks upwards in an endless loop when he says that it is looking for drivers.  It was almost an hour and he's still in the search with no results.

Here is a link to the page in question:

    1. If the network controller is Bluetooth 4.0, then do install this only & decide all BT pilot questions or need to install the driver of BT in the first link also? If install you it and it supports all bluetooth driver problems then the problem is resolved. If it does then install the other driver as well.

    2. for SM Bus controller - how will I know W7x86 / x 64 or W8 x 64 to install? Click the Start button and then right click on computer, then click Properties. See the description of your operating system in the window that says system. It will tell you if the OS is 64 or 32-bit.

The following image is a virtual hard drive running in my 13 HP spectrum loan which has a 64-bit processor. The Ultimate Windows is a 32-bit version running in VirtualBox.

so I have to download all the drivers? and windows? If I do not replace the hard drive

If you do not plan to buy a recovery media (which contains everything a package including all the programs that came provided when you purchased the laptop),

You can try an INSTALLATION CLEAN of Windows 8 x 64 OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)-

Download, save & burn/mount the following file OEM ISO of Win 8 x 64 on DVD / or copy ISO to a USB vacuum using the ISO tool like burning Imgburn (ISO OEM download link has a daily download limit, have to try several times, also I don't know if it's even downloadable).

    Windows 8 x 64 ISO

Tool ISO Mount/burn - Imgburn (choose the smaller 4 x or 8 x write speed to burn ISO on DVD)

Additional drivers can be downloaded from the pilot site, I have mentioned in my previous post, save on an another USB & installed from it after the installation of Windows.

NOTE: A CLEAN WINDOWS INSTALLATION WILL BE DEVOID OF ALL HP & THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS/SOFTWARE THAT WAS DELIVERED WITH YOUR LAPTOP WHEN YOU BOUGHT, BUT ALL THE NECESSARY OS PROGRAMS DRIVERS WILL BE INSTALLED FOR THE PROPER FUNCTIONING OF THE OPERATING SYSTEM. ADDITIONAL FOR YOUR MODEL DRIVERS MUST BE INSTALLED ON THE SITE OF THE PRODUCT.

Windows 8 would be automatically activated during installation usually - as the product activation key is integrated into the chip for the BIOS of your motherboard for laptop.

  • Laptop HP 2000: portable HP 2000 passes not to the VGA output video

Have used my laptop HP 2000 several times to connect to a TV screen using the VGA output jack and connect it to the VGA of my big screen input.  Now, for some reason, there is no video output on the big screen, I tried 3 different cords (VGA VGA) and get nothing on two and on the third, I get a video transfer but it flashes and both on the screen of the laptop and my big screen with only about 1/2 of a photo showing both.  When he does this, I tried the repositioning of the output on the computer output jack and he changed the picture a bit, but could never make it work.  Any ideas?

Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I looked into your problem on your laptop HP 2000 and connect a monitor or TV with a VGA cable. Here is a link to show you how do I connect a monitor. The last link in this document would be more useful.

    Hope this helps you.

  • Laptop HP 2000-104 ca

Could you please send some OF your products features? There is never North/Southbridge chipset information for everything you do. It is most annoying. Specifications are supposed to be CLEAN!

Laptop HP 2000-104 ca doesn't even have a driver for the SATA controller for any operating system. I really want to install another operating system that he gave, but I can't identify the SATA controller to locate the correct driver. No, the system is currently not starting so I can't look in the Device Manager.

    Throw me a BONE here.

    Hello:

It is no problem to find the AMD SATA controller on their site.  You just need to know where to look.

You must use the menu drop down and select card mother/chipset, select the operating system you need the driver for.

I have linked to you by XP SATA AHCI drivers. They are all the same anyway.

    http://support.AMD.com/us/gpudownload/Windows/pages/raid_windows.aspx#3

The AHCI drivers are in the first download.  Use 7 - zip to extract the executable file.

However, for the moment, I extracted the and attached to you below because I'm a nice guy.

    32 and 64-bit.

  • Laptop HP 2000-365DX / rebuilt with Windows 8 / not able to connect to internet

My son has filled our mobile home of all known viruses of human, and so I had to give up everything and reload the operating system.  I reformatted the laptop with my copy of Windows 8 (64-bit) on the computer and now I am unable to connect to wireless internet.

When I go to the list of "other devices" in Device Manager, see the following (with the yellow exclamation points):

    • BCM20702A0
    • Ethernet controller
    • Network controller
    • PCI device

So I guess that the drivers for network cards, etc. are not loaded (for some reason any), but when I try to install the drivers from the HP site, nothing happens.  I can't access the Internet for Windows to automatically update everything.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hi qkershner, welcome to the Forums of HP. When you reinstalled Windows, you use HP Recovery or have you installed on a different disk from Windows? If you did a cover of HP it would have installed all the drivers automatically. You would also have the opportunity to restore the drivers using this method: use of the Recovery Manager to restore the software and drivers (Windows 8)

If not, the drivers for laptops, would be located here: Drivers of laptop HP 2000-365DX
You will need to download the drivers from another source and bring it to the computer (ie. the thumb drive) to install. When you get your network drivers work, you can try the HP Support Assistant, which hopefully will automatically find the rest of your drivers: HP Support Assistant

If you install the drivers, and you have problems with them grateful, you can delete items in Device Manager by clicking on them and remove them. Then on reboot I hope to be recognized.
