  I have a problem with the screen flickering at first upward. (Computer Toshiba satellite laptop) I start the computer and once windows starts to load I immediately encounter a flickering (somewhat like a light bulb which is about to release) the screen flashes and then goes to black... I have so stop and keep trying to re-start. After 25 + times it finally it loads correctly. This may take 20 to 30 minutes each time it happens... which is usually every morning when I get up and turn on your computer!   In the Power Options, I put the screen turns off in 10 minutes when my laptop is connected.   I have a Probook s 4540 with an operating system of Windows 10.   The display turns off in 2 minutes when I have no activity.  This causes a lot of extra time turn on the screen and entering the password.    I tried to solve the problem of:

  1. Reset the BIOS to factory settings.
  2. Restore power to the default Options.

  They do not solve the problem.   What should I do to solve the problem?

  Another option, you can view is as follows.

  A few days before, after upgrading to windows 7 from Vista.  I got my laptop connected to my 47 inch Phillips with HDMI and was doing great.  The next day there was significant (about 40 of them, hardly some I'm sure) updates of microsoft; my laptop kept reset rear to decrease the resolution after the system has rebooted, instead of the 1920 x 1200 I usually.

  Anyway, at this point on whenever I plug the HDMI Cable my computer screen making mobile curtains blackout and nothing he will answer to display anything...  I had to unplug the cable and reset it réinitialisez_(: (afin d'obtenir l'écran d' ordinateur portablepour)  If I let the plugins of HDMI cable, it will be blackout after it surging, the ms logo.

  My best guess, not knowing what updates you have loaded, would be that you got a video update from Microsoft that may not be 100% compatible with your laptop.  I would go to the manufacturer website and download the latest video drivers for your laptop and install them according to the manufacturer's suggestions.

  I recently received the Portege M400 from a friend 4 days ago and reformatted for Windows XP Tablet Edition.
  Everything's fine until I wanted to move the laptop to my coffee table, but as soon as I move the laptop it freezes, the screen goes black and the fan speed increases dramatically.
  So far I have had no success in the resolution of this problem and I really appreciated, is that someone could help me!

GoTo all programs search and type in Recovery Manager click that above and open it. Click Yes (white box) so it apears. Select Microsoft System Restore Click next to three windows now you will see a list of dates, select a date prior to the installation of the update, then click. Let the computer do its restoration. Once done see if your problem is solved, if so try the update again, make you that the update is for 64-bit Windows 7 computers before you download it again. If that happens again once you know what AVG is not compatible for your computer.

  Probably you have only received part of the witch update caused this problem due to the disruption of atmospheres. Sometimes this happens. Put day of my HP only made once. I just did a restore back and downloaded the update again and the second time through work. Please click on Bravo if this solves your problem. Thank you frrw.
