Laptop stuck

I got a new HP laptop 2000-2202TU 5 days back. I did have the time to make a backup of the Win 8 operating system, where not partition space available yet.

However, day 1, he's stuck every now and then, and also the performance is low, even if I'm on a wi - fi network. It hangs even when I'm not online. I have not started using it again correctly and there are performance problems, otherwise I would have blamed the 2 GB of RAM.

Any suggestions on how to get it fixed?

Say hello to new pbhui.

There is no reason to have two anti-virus installed.  You must remove one of these applications.  This could be part of the cause of your slowdown problems.

There is no reason to partition the hard drive.  It is already partitioned and I do not pretend to play with it, unless you know exactly what you are trying to accomplish.

You must remove one of the antivirus programs and see if it solves your problem.  If not I strongly recommend that you contact HP support.

Nice day!

My laptop 'stuck' and windows wouldn't load, I had to restart everything (I'm not a technophobe!), on the fact that he told me that I needed to update back to 8.1.

However, I could not do this as he told me that I had to update windows 8 first of all - but update will not work.

What do I do on Earth?

    Windows Update, error 0 x 80070490

Step 1: Use SFC system to repair damaged Windows files use System File Checker to repair damaged Windows files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt.
    2. Run the command "sfc/scannow".
    3. Try installing the update again.

For more information about the System File Checker tool, see using the tool File Checker system to repair missing or corrupted system files

. Step 2: Run the DISM tool if the problem persists, use the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool to fix corrupt Windows Update errors. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt.
    2. Run the command "DISM.exe Online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth".
Important When you run this command, DISM uses Windows Update to provide the files that are necessary to fix corruptions. However, if your Windows Update client is already broken, use a Windows install running as the source of the repair, or use a Windows side-by-side folder from a network share or removable media, such as the Windows DVD, as the source of the files. To do this, run the following command instead:

      DISM.exe / Online/Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth / Source: C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess

  • Laptop stuck on the screen to "prepare the AutoFix.

My laptop HP a few months came pre-installed with windows 8. When I tried to start it this morning it came with the screen to "Prepare the automatic repair" and is pasted on it. It is not off or change to a different screen as "scan your computer. I'm sure that it does not start in safe mode by pressing f8 or shift + f8, Ive tried several times. I don't know what to do because it's just stuck on the same screen "prepare auto repair.

This is not a good thing. The long test. Post the results here.

The result of the test is indicative of a hard disk failure requiring the replacement of the hard disk.

Contact HP for a replacement under warranty hard drive. You will need the failure status code providing for the drive test hard when you contact HP.

It's time to find your set of recovery disks. You will need to install the operating system and the software that came with your laptop.

  • Laptop stuck in the Windows Resume loader

I have toshiba satellite laptop and my keyboard stops working. While I started the computer I accidentally unplugged the computer will be of that load. Now my computer is stuck in "Windows resume loader" and I have no way to push enter to skip this screen. I can't push f8 to enter safe mode either. Help, please!

I ordered a new keyboard, but it does not work either.

    Hello

I suggest to boot from Windows Vista DVD and run the Startup Repair tool and check.

Startup Repair: corrects some problems, such as missing or damaged system files that may prevent Windows from starting correctly. When you run the Startup Repair, it scans your computer for the problem and then tries to fix it so that your computer can start correctly.

  • Laptop stuck closed during the restoration of the system

Laptop is stuck during the system restore? If I turn off computer manually by pressing the power button / stop it will mess up computer?  How can I fix it? The display shows 'Shutting Down' he was slaughtered like that for 2 hours now. Help, please?

It is likely mean restoration of the system has failed for any reason any and therefore find it difficult to restart because of this.

You may want to wait for someone a little more expert than me but normally peak I power the laptop through the main switch off and restart it.  At the start of the computer laptop once again he can ask you to start windows normally or in safe mode and you can then happily that we restart the PC and the system of cancellation/restore again.

  • Laptop stuck on "Starting Windows" screen

So, this afternoon, I tried to start my laptop HPG42-373, and it got stuck on "Starting Windows" screen. I ran tests of memory at startup and primary HD, in which startup failed, and primary HD came out with this: "hard disk 1 (303) Quick '. What can I do to solve this problem, if anything, or just to save what I can from my old files?

    Hello

303 error code is a disk failure short self-test and would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  This is also consistent with the question of commissioning.

If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disk replaced - you can check the status of your warranty here.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

If you are out of warranty and would like a guide to replacing the hard drive yourself, let me know.

Concerning access to the data on this HARD drive, here are some options you can try.

    1. one possible way to try to recover your files from a disk non-boot is to follow the process described in the link below.  The CD of the Ubuntu operating system you create can launched from the CD alone (IE it doesn't have to be installed on the hard drive) and I've often found to successfully extract data even a hard failure.  When you created the CD, follow the instructions and see if you can save your existing files.

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/use-Ubuntu-Live-CD-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-Windo...

2 another option would be to remove the drive HARD, place it in an external enclosure - is an example of the link below - connect to another PC and see if you can access your files.

  • Laptop stuck in an infinite loop "install".

My HP laptop acted until tonight while I was using it, so after trying simply to cold restart for a few minutes, I gave up and decided to just refresh everything. However, the preparation part took longer that it was supposed too once again, I did a cold reboot to see if the process would go faster. But now my phone is stuck in an infinite loop where it indicates an unexpected reboot or error happened past that he cannot continue the 'install' and must restart so it can relaunch the 'installation '. However it is done a few times and each time, the same error appears. I tried searching how to solve this problem, but did not see anything and that's the current situation, I can't use it for stuff I need the laptop for. I don't know what to do!

  • HP 15.6 laptop "touch screen: laptop stuck in the loop of continuous factory reset

I brought a laptop that has been the view at Sam model yesterday.  I tried to do a factory reset, but once he gets to "Windows Setup" it makes a continuous loop.  It will start at 64% go to 100%, then restart.  When it turns on, it is always 'Windows Installer' and goes right to 64% and then 100%, then restart.  I started at 22:45 (28/07/2016) last night and it's always the same.

What can I do to stop the program?

  • Compaq 14-a000: laptop stuck in shut down/boot loop

The main problem I encounter is that I accidentally turned off my computer while he was setting up Windows.
Now, as it is, he is stuck in a loop of the ignition, update of the screen showing HP with small points of buffer circling at the bottom, cutting and then reappear.
Then it will move to the Windows Setup screen and it's 64% finished,.
    Then turns off.

He continues to repeat this and I cannot understand how out of the loop, and it happens so fast too.

I just turn it off completely and I try to keep it's cool, but I'm not sure what it does beyond this point other get rid of him.
    Help, please.

It's time to use the recovery media that you have created now...

You can use it to access Windows system restore and restore the operating system to a recovery point dated before that happened.

System Restore is safe and reversible.

Take a read of the paper web followinbg. The methods apply to your operating system.
