  There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

  A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support.   I have Laser Jet Pro MFP M127FW.  This morning, a fax came through, and printed, however, the touchscreen rpet ' Print Fax: 1 Page, "with absolutely nothing to print.  I can now no longer print documents, or send and receive faxes again.    When I leave on this screen, the message disappears and comes back about a minute later for inactivity.  I tried to unplug and plug the unit in the.  I tried to use the switch to stop the machine.  When the powers of the slot machine, he will immediately return to the ' print fax Page: 1. " I tried clear memory and also the power resets. I keep reading on a Ret NVRAM and I would try it, but can't find anywhere it is displayed!

  I understand that you have a fax job that will not print from your printer Laserjet M127fw range. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. When done, remove the cable from the back of the printer's fax. Now:

  1. Click on the configuration icon that looks like a key.
  2. Click on Service.
  3. Click Fax Service.
  4. Click clear saved faxes.
  5. Connect the cable of the fax.

  I had to receive two pages of fax. After that the first page has come through it is stuck "print fax page 1. The second page is never good. I can't print anything. I already disconnected my printer and plugged in. When the rear connection, it uses the same throughout first fax page and gets stuck again. Happen from nowhere at least once a week for the past few weeks.

  I see that you are having problems with the printer stuck in an "Print fax page 1" error message when you restart the printer, it keeps printing the same fax. I would really like to be able to help solve this problem.

  I would like to do a hard reset to see if that will solve the problem. It's probably a little different then what you have already tried.

  Let the printer and disconnect the printer cable and the wall socket for 60 seconds.
  Reconnect the power cable to the output of the printer and the wall, and not a surge protector.
  This ensures that the printer is full on and can help this situation.

  It happens only in black or color printing you get the same type of fault. The reason that I ask is black, it is without a doubt the black toner cartridge. In case of all colors, then the question can be the fuser unit, but I have seen a couple where food is the cause and not the fuser unit.

  The Forums of HP is a great place to find answers to the questions/problems you may have, welcome! I see that you are facing some print quality problems when you print to your HP Officejet 8500. It is printing in pink only and partial pages. You have performed the steps in troubleshooting without success.

  1. When you performed the cleaning and printed the test page, have you seen all the colors on the page or is - this only rose as well?

  2. are you able to make a black copy?

  3. When you upgraded to Windows 10 you would update the software and drivers for the 8500 JO so?

  Just bought this printer and it works fine except for perhaps as long as 10 seconds in the middle of the last page of a multiple page print job stop.  I had several HP printers over the years and have never had this before.  Generally, the pages just well rip out all the way to the end, but it's very annoying.  It's just a feature of the machine, or can I do something?

  The printer click Fax, and then click the Fax Menu.

  Click Fax reports, and then click Fax of Confirmation and replace value "on Fax Send'.

  If you want the confirmation to include a thumbnail of the 1st page you can set as on "include first Page."

• LaserJet 4050n with Postscript driver prints the pages twice.

  It is a computer network, directly connected to a hub, not in any computer. Same problem I have print Win XP on a computer on the floor or Linux on a computer downstairs. Is there an option in the 4050 menus which controls this? I was not able to find such an option. Thank you.

  Solved! Is returned in the menus again (and again) and finally found: COPIES = 2.

  My M127fw Pro Laserjet prints an error report anytime that the incoming telephone line becomes active.  It's a line for FAX use only, and there is never intend to use this to talk.  Given that any appeal could only be a robo call or a solicitation, a "No. FAX detected" printed report is UNnnecessary.  I would like to stop the printing of this error message.

  I see that you have problems during the installation of the printer on a dedicated line and the printer will print a 'no. FAX detected' printed report when eventually comes a robo call or a solicitation. I would like to help you today.

  Select never to print Fax error report.

  Select the Menu icon on the screen of the printer, Fax.
  Select Fax reports.
  Select the Fax error report.
  Select never.

  This should solve the problem.
