LASERJET PRO M127fw MFP: PRINT LABELS

I am using Word 2007. I have a document with a custom page set to 4.25 "x 5.5" size (1/4 size of letter) for printing labels. How can I get the printer to print on paper to meet the custom size? It seems that the text seeks to be placed on the custom paper size as if it was supposed to be centered on a letter-size sheet. As a result, only about 3 letters to print on custom size sheet.

Thanks for your help.

The solution of Avery seems only to work on a full sheet, and I want to print a single label, or 1/4 sheet, both.

It seems that how works this printer is to print using landscape, the right side of the paper on the side of power as leader of the sheet. In other words, looks like that the image is being printed to the printer the edges of the leaf of mirroring.

I had several HP LaserJet in the past and never seen this behavior. The leading edge through the printer should print first the first superior (in portrait mode), or the left side of the page (in landscape mode). Mine is printing right side view landscape on the edge of attack through the printer. Portrait seems to be that I expect.

My solution was to remove the custom sheet size and go to the letter format, and then adjust the margins so that the info on the label is on the right side on the side of the sheet of landscape centered vertically on the sheet. The unique label now print with the text where it is supposed to appear on the label.

  • LaserJet pro M127fw MFP: print with Windows 10

Since I upgraded to Windows 7 to 10, I had a problem with printing to my Laserjet MFP M127fw pro.

In the print preview the page to print looks like square rather than rectangular but the picture about this seems OK. When I print in fact the image is crushed vertically. The problem is the same print with Word, Excel and Acrobat.

I have been informed that a new driver is required, so I deleted the old driver and downloaded a new one compatible with Windows 10 but the problem persists.

Thanks for the help but it seems that the problem was that my screen resolution was completely wrong, so that if the image looked OK on preview before printing then it would look incorrect when printing and vice versa.

    Help, please

    Hi introvert,

Thanks for responding. But I think I lost you somewhere.

I downloaded the driver to the place where you sent me. No problem. I unzipped. Then I went into the temporary folder, but everything I've seen has this folder:

    HP Support frame

So, I opened this file and only found this:

    HPSF_Config1.dll

I went through the motions and copied the address of the place and done what you told me:

    -----------------------------------------------------

    • In the devices folder and printers, click with the right button on your LaserJet Pro MFP M176n and left click on printer properties
    • Left click on the Advanced tab
    • Left-click on new driver
    • When the new window driver opens just hit 'next' until you see a list of manufacturers on the left and a list of printers on the right.
    • Click the "disk" button at the bottom right
    • When the "Browse" window opens, simply right click in the path of the file bar and select "Paste" to paste the path of the file that we copied earlier. Click OK.
    • -------------------------------------------------

When I pressed "OK", it says "file contains no software driver for your currency. Select a folder that contains the driver software, and then try again.

He never did a 7z file in the temp. folder...

So what I am doing wrong? Again, help please! Thank you!!!

    Hello

To eliminate any hardware failure, you can copy from the charger of document without any problem?

If the ADF is working as intended by the hardware, the issue most likely related to the communication between your PC and the device.

If the response of material as planned, please try following this tool by selecting the difficulty of analysis:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/Printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

If the problem persists, I suggest ensuring that the USB is connected directly to a port on the back of your PC and not via a USB hub or extension, so make sure that the cable is not longer than 2 meters in length.

I also suggest to try a different port on your PC and check differences.

If it persists, can you see any difference in trying another USB cable?

  • LaserJet Pro M127fw MFP: Scanner bulb flashes in ready mode

Good afternoon just bought my new printer LASERJET MFP M127fw Pro to replace my 20 years old Laserjet 6 p printer. Everything works great, but I noticed the bulb of the scanner blinks / flashes when the top of the scanner is down, when you lift the top of the scanner and the bulb doesn't blink. as well as the printer goes into mode 'sleep' it also stops flashing. Question is this a normal scanner function (bulb flashes ready mode). Check the forums and seems to be a question/problem on another HP printers but I could not find a definitive answer from the HP Support.

Printer is plugged directly into the wall without surge, such as recommended by HP

  • LaserJet Pro M127fw MFP: LaserJet MFP M127fw Pro does not

The MFP M127fw lives on my network.  It is used by several machines - Win7, Ubuntu Linux, Win10, etc.  It works fine for a while - as a few hours, but then enters a State where it will not accept any job.  A power reset always bring it back.

This seems to happen little matter if I connect via WiFi or Ethernet.  The printer will just "deaf" to jobs.  The interface of the web server is not affected.

I get tired of the power, deactivation / activation of routine.  What should do?

    TIA

    Martin

The solution to this problem was to remove the router, Asus RT-N66U and return to the DPC3941T of Comcast/Xfinity/Cisco. Somehow the combination of Asus and Cisco (in transition mode) was not managing printers LaserJet network correctly.  More info on my blog.

  • LaserJet Pro M477fdn MFP: Print LaserJet MFP M477fdn Pro sudden very bad quality

My LaserJet print quality has declined. Very, very light on all cartridges. HP utility > report shows supplies all the cartridges to between 30 and 50% of about 800 pages (black), 200 (yellow) remaining. But, HP utility > supplies management says "cartridge to very low behavior. Was an update last week I think. Maybe when the problem started. Not a gradual reduction in quality. One day everything was fine, the next day, suddenly very poor, light quality.

    Hi, Will,

Let me advise you to do what follows, I work in reality for HP, normally this problems can appear after an update of the firmware more precisely on the 477 models, try the following steps:

    1. go into the Setup menu

    2. go to system set up

    3. go in print quality

    4. Select color grading and then press on calibrate now

    5. After all the sounds stop and the printer goes back to ready status without any attempt of messages to print something to see if it improves

    6. If the problem persists or improved but not yet developed acceptable, try 2 color calibration steps more and print something again

7 if the problem persists I would recommend you to reach our customers telephone support for Laserjet devices.

I hope that helps you, really confident im, what should be, Kudos to pkazmercyk for letting me know that you need help.

    Kind regards

  • LaserJet Pro M127fw MFP: Scanned to pdf but document converted to bmp

My scanner gives me the ability to scan in pdf; However, when I save the document, it displays the pdf icon, but Acrobot Reader cannot open it because it is saved as a bmp.  I have reinstalled the printer, paid $89.99 (annual) for the Pack of PDF Adobe - tried all the fixes under Solutions HP, etc, nothing has changed.  All settings appear to be correct.  I have a second all-in-one HP Office Jet Pro 8600 and it does the same thing: that's why I suspected a problem with Adobe, but this installation (supposedly) out ok too.

Thanks for your reply.  I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat - thinking that could be the problem.  Let's see if a fix is available.

  • LaserJet Pro M127fw MFP: LaserJet Pro M127fw MFP - Firmware install without USB

My USB connection is broken at the plate, but it doesn't matter since I use the printer wirelessly.

Now I have discovered that there is a frimware update, but the statement says I have to connect to the printer by USB...

Is it possible to update the firmware via the LAN port or wireless connection?

Wireless firmware update is NOT recommended. If you upgrade, you lose your wireless connection, that's all she wrote for the printer. Use a wired USB or LAN.

Thank you, Gemini02. We called HP and determined that the bulb was blown. We will get a replacement under warranty. I wonder if there are printers that can notify you when something like that happened, as when it is necessary to replace toner.
