LaserJet pro p 1102w: laserjet 1102w pro p

You just bought a new laserjet 1102w pro p. It installed very well and prints, but it allows you to select a startup infallibly and executes the rolls of food every 15 seconds. I guess that the engine burn eventually if it maintains this doing.

I rebooted it, unplugged the usb and removed and reinstalled the toner, but happening again all day.

Is this s factory default?

Hello @ cozjason,

Welcome to the HP forum.

I understand that your new laserjet 1102w P continues to go the beginning upward.

I want to help you with this.

LaserJet printers can be 'finiky' when they do not receive adequate food.

Your printer is connected directly to a wall outlet?

If it is connected to a surge protector or power bar, I would remove them from the printer.

If the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, then I would try the reset that I sent you.

Click on the little envelope in the upper right of your screen to retrieve the message.

If that does not clear the issue would call technical support. They will be able to determine if there is a problem with the printer and replace the device under warranty.

Please contact our technical support at the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number. http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/contact-HP/WW-phone-assist.html

    Hi @rosehumm,

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

I see that you are looking to remove duplicates of your HP Laserjet Pro Google Cloud Print 1102w printer.  I would like to help.

I tested this point in my office and found that the removal of the printer is easy to use.  Here's how:

    • Sign in to your account to Google's Cloud.
    • One at a time, click the name of your printer and click on remove, as shown in the screenshot below:

I would like to know if it works for you.  Thanks again for your post and have a great day!

  • LaserJet 1102W Pro - can't get the blue light at all

I do the initial installation of a Pro LaserJet 1102W.  I created another without difficulty.  After a reset to the default values and an update of the firmware, I can not even a flashing blue light indicating the necessary wireless configuration.  Tried with and without USB cable.  I get the status lights will blink for 10 seconds and then back to solid green light.  I tell myself that I need the blue light blinks then I can connect via Wi - Fi to set up.

I believe on this model if you press the wireless to the printer and the (protected web configuration) WPS button our router that they should connect automatically. Then, you can use the installation package and the type of connection appropreiate for the printer on the computer.

Is there anything else that could help you?

    Hey @cbs117,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you experience some problems with your Laserjet P1102w printer connection to your wireless network. I can help you with that.

To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

    1. Turn the printer off.
    2. While the printer is turned off, disconnect the power cable from the back of the router for a minute.
    3. When the lights come back on the router, turn on the printer.

Now if the blue light is not solid, the next step is to run the HP installation by clicking on the icon on your PC with a name similar to the Laserjet P1100 series. If you do not have this icon, download the latest drivers at this link.

Please let me know if you are able to connect the printer after you follow the above. If you are, click on accept solution. If you appreciate my help, please click on the thumbs up icon. The two icons are below this post.

  • HP LaserJet Pro 1102w: Hp LaserJet Pro 1102w put in place

I'm trying to set up my printer with the CD it came with that.  I followed the instructions of standard connecting with a USB cable available here http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02847467 , but once I have connected the usb cable to the computer when asked (I don't have the usb cable connected to the computer or the printer prior to this, as the instructions said) the program failed to recognize that I plugged in the cable. I waited about 5 minutes.  I don't know if the problem is with the cable, printer or the way I'm doing this.  Help, please...

I figured it ! It turns out I have to not need to install it to my friends.  I'll put the steps I took incase it happens to someone else. Tell me if sounds about right.

    1. put the CD in and connect the printer to the computer via USB (I can't connect the printer was actually necessary, but I did anyway).

2 ignore the installation window if it comes out when you put on the CD and go to my computer the "HP LaserJet P1100-P1500-P1600 Se' right click and click 'open '.

    3. the search for "SIUtility.exe." Choose "SIUtility64" If you use a 64-bit operating system and the "SIUtility" If you use a 32-bit. Run it.

    4. click on 'PC' to disable the Smart Install feature on this specific computer and "Printer" to turn off the printer. Make sure the two domain.

    5. Once this is done, the computer must be able to recognize the printer.  Now, you can follow the steps in the link I posted in the first comment.

Sidenote: I went to computer > Local drive (C> Program Files > HP > Hp LaserJet P1100 Series so I can uninstall everything I got from the CD, so I can start over.)  Yet once again, I don't know if this was necessary, but that's what I've done and the printer works fine.

@X-23 thanks for the heads-up on turning off the Smart Install feature. I would have never thought it if it wasn't for you.  If I made a mistake in the steps or explain it, please correct me so that the next person that this issue can solve it more easily.  Again, I thank you !

I can print from the kitchen! I'm so hyped!

When a right-click to print e-mail, two windows appear.  On the left, print, Total xx pages and just below to the right, two boxes SAVE, CANCEL, see the.  The document I want to print is on the right side.

There is no one-click printing.  Only, SAVE or CANCEL.  You click SAVE and went to the documents folder.  Once inside this folder, I could print.  Why I have to go a long way to printthe document?  Can't print directly from e-mail?  Help, please!

    Hi @kakkochan,

I see that you have problems printing from your email. I can help you with this.

What email or browser you use?

Verify that the default printer is selected for the Laserjet P1102w.

"Devices and printers", you should have a check mark on the printer icon.

What applications are you using your email in? (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office Outlook)

This occurs when you try to print from any application?

I saw this happen using Chrome.

Open a web page, go to, click on print, under Destination, the button change and select your printer. This should fix the problem if you have just the problem using Chrome.

Download and run the print and Scan Doctor, he will diagnose the problem and could solve it automatically.

What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (she print or scan, error messages)

Your welcome to include a screenshot of the print window.

Please provide detailed results if you're still having problems.

If you appreciate my efforts, please click on the "Thumbs up" button below. Thank you.

  • HP LaserJet 1102w Pro

I used this product with a Mac long enough to be on my second toner cartridge, so you can see that the printer is relatively new.  Until a few days ago, it works fine.  Recently it has stopped printing, sending the message that he is weak or paper.  This is not the case because there was a lot of paper in the tray.  The first time it happened, I was able to add the status bar with a significant amount of paper, which was already there and managed to do print.  But now, everything I do, after adding paper, does not have a difference.  I unplugged the unit, try to get it to reset.  I opened system preferences / printers and done everything I can do.  I need help please.  I have not uninstalled and tried to reinstall or checked for new drivers, as I'm not sure that I know what I have to do and did not want to open a new issue.

    Hi @kc8mld,

I see by your post that you are getting the message that the "printer is low, or with paper. I can help you with this.

Try and print a self-test on the printer hardware to see if it is a hardware or software problem.

Printing a Configuration Page. Select the method two.

If the self test print, then remove and readd the driver print.

Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.
Scanners & printers, then click the plus sign +.

Select the printer in the list. (Make sure that the printer is listed beside the use: displays the name of the appropriate printer)

    And then click Add.

    Try to print again.

What operating system do you use? Mac OS X: how to find which Mac OS X Version is on my computer?

How is the printer connected? (USB / wireless)

There are flashing lights on the printer?

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

  • Multi-page printing on Laserjet 1102w

I use a HP Laserjet Pro printer of 1102w wireless on a home network.  The operating system is Windows 7 (64-bit).  A computer print very well and the other prints multiple pages of a single page document.  I checked the settings and I can not just understand what is the cause.  I tried to uninstall the printer and the software and reinstalled.  He moved so easily and that a page will be printed when you do a test page, but if I print from Word, I get as much as 50 and as low as 10, but never just.

  • HP laserjet pro p1102w: hp laserjet pro p1102w does not work on windows 10 - printer needs attention

I installed Windows 10 on my HP PavilionX2 about two weeks ago and after a lot of false starts but I finally going.  I set up my printer HP Laserjet Pro 1102w associated with the installation of HP application and got new drivers, etc.  The installation was successful.  When I tried to print.  I received the message that my printer requires attention. I use generic cartridges, which seems to be contributing to the problem.  However, I discovered that the printer would be finally print everything I sent him a few hours later.  So, every time I want to print I just ignore the message about needing to care, but I have to wait several hours before Windows 10 finally released the document for printing. I have no problems whether in point 8.1 of Windows.  It is new with Windows 10.

My printer works on three of my Windows 7 computers and on three of my computers windows 8.1 and on my iPad, so there is no truth to the message that the printer requires attention.  The printer works fine, but it does not work in Windows 10.  Microsoft Community is no help.  I reinstalled the drivers at least three times using the HP Setup utility. It was worthless.

Is it possible to fix this?

    Hi @technickel5,

I see that you are having problems printing just the Windows 10 computer, the print job prints a few hours later after sending it. I will do my best to help you with this problem. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button "" accept as Solution"" down below this message. • Color LaserJet MFP M477fdn Pro: M477 Software Installation fails at 99%

Like others who have posted here, I have been unable to get the printer software to complete the installation. The printer is a Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn, 3 months. I'm trying to install the software on a new workstation HP Z240 performing Windows 10 (64-bit). The connection is via USB cable. The printer and the software have been previously used with a Windows 7 machine without problem.

I tried, repeatedly, to install the software from the disc supplied with the printer and also a 126.6 mb download HP Color LaserJet MFP printer M477 Pro series full software and drivers. The results are the same with a source - installation apparently progresses up to connect it the indicator product of progression from screen reached 99%, how it gives an error message "a Setup operation took too long to run. It is a fatal error, preventing the use of the product. Restart your computer and run this installer again. If the problem persists, please visit the web site of product support for your product. "It takes about 20 minutes for the phase of installation to go from 0 to 99%, and then later hooked up to 99% for 2-5 minutes, the error message is displayed.

I am able to print to this printer, but at least do not have the ability to scan from the computer there is no indication that the I.R.I.S. OCR software is installed.

I had care of do not connect USB until you are educated.

I tried repeating the installation without uninstalling first and get the same result.

I used the uninstall contained the disk feature, and have deleted the printer to the computer using the Panel between the installation attempts.

I tried to do a right click to run the installer as administrator and get the same result.

I tried to install after clean boots with turned off Windows Firewall and all functions of the software Norton Internet Security including its function of firewall turned off.

The event viewer displays none error entry at all and no entry identifies HP as the source of an event.

I tried to connect via USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.

I cleaned recycle them and temporary folders.

I have updated the firmware of the printer to the 20160331 version.

Printed printer configuration report will not display any errors, nor that the printer itself indicates something is wrong and confirms the update of the firmware.

I deselected the optional software, the devices experience HP and I.R.I.S. OCR, trying to install only the required files two more program scanning HP.

Thanks for any help solving this.

I think I understood the question, 10 windows installs its own driver, and the installation program expects the hp driver to install.

DO this FOR THE HP INSTALLER PROCESS (when the percentage meter goes)

    1. go into the Device Manager and find the printer in the list of devices

    2. right click on the printer and select "Update Driver software"

    3. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".

    4. choose "Let Me pick one...» »

    5. Select the named driver: HP Color LaserJet MFP M477 PCL-6 Pro (make sure it's one with a dash between the pcl and 6!)

    6. click next and back to the installation of hp box and must now see the printer and continue the installation.

  • Color LaserJet MFP Pro 277dw: MFP will print but not scan since update Mac OS 10.10.5

I had used my LaserJet MFP Pro wireless without problem for several years, with the Mavericks and Yosemite.  A few weeks ago a "update" the printer system is invisible.  After several hours of troubleshooting and to try five or six corrections, I finally got the printer online by using the IP address.

My computers, however (a performer of the Mavericks and a Yosemite running), do not see the scanner.  It's not a question of adding - they do not to add it.  By HP support, I have reset the system print and tried to start over.  I downloaded HP Easy Print (or Easy Start or whatever), which is the entire site of support in the way of software for the 277dw of the ACM.  The software through me the entire upward and congratulated himself for a job well done, but my printer was not, in fact, related.  He appeared in the printers Control Panel, but would not print.  Just "connecting to printer" in the queue for ten minutes about until what I called off work.  And the scanner does not yet show in the Image Capture, preview or HP Easy Scan.

So, I went back to my previous fix for the printer, use the IP address.  Any ideas on how to get the scanner appears?

    Hello

Restart your router by unplugging its power for 30 seconds.

Once it is fully up and you have internet access on your Mac reboot both the HP printer and the Mac.

From system preferences, select Printers and scanners and click on the plus sign to add the printer again.

Can you now ee he listed as Hello type or not?
