Leave the connection due to release/renew IP address problem

Hi there - I have an Inspiron 23 model 5348, connected to a router of the BT Home Hub 5 running Windows 8.1. Whenever I wake the computer from sleep mode and often even to start it upward, that I have no internet connection. I have release/renew the IP address, and the connection is re-established for a period of time.

This happens on my inspiron wired or wireless connected. I updated the router, changed the wires, reinstalled the drivers for network devices, changed the term of the lease on the router for 21 days and used a static IP address, bit, nothing seems to work.

It only occurs on the Inspiron. None of my other devices give up their connection.

Any ideas what is the cause?

    It is the latest attempt to address this issue the nice way.

    We have 3 guest running VMware essentials 5.5 with Veeam B & R (recently updated v9)

    I use a unit of vCenter hosted in one of the ESXI servers. Has joined the field - but no authentication SSO or AD has never been setup for it.

    Since yesterday, I am unable to connect to no machines with my password local root - or ESXI and vCenter. I almost use the same password for the hosts and vCenter (except the vCenter last character that is special) passwords have not been changed for 400 days. (I can remember in the past I have problem with my account lockout and I had to do something in vCenter turn it off - so I guess that this has been done)

    I am guard on getting "cannot complete the connection due to an incorrect username or password" when I try to connect via vSphere client, web browser, SSH or the physical server.

    Funny but my server of Veeam speaks to vCenter as nothing happened. Veeam management shows 400 days since the last change of password for root. Also, I am able to rescan vCenter successfully. If I ask for identifying information another user from the credentials manager in Veeam he dismisses them. So somehow Veeam is still talking to vCenter...

    It's just incredibly odd that two separate passwords for ESXI and vCenter are no longer works...

  • The VRM Agent errors in vCAC 6.1 - cannot complete the connection due to an incorrect user name or password.

    I read the other posts documenting similar errors but in almost all of these positions, these errors arose following a request by commissioning has failed, a misconfigured in vCO vCenter Server Plugin interface or some other connection failure distinguishable. In my case, this condition is intermittent (at least it seems to be) and resolves in the end. I have no problem of supply of virtual machines on one of my endpoints configured in vCAC and, as far as I can tell, the network appears to be stable.

    At this stage since there seems to be no significant or negative impact for the health of the entire system, (for aesthetic reasons only), I usually end up the purge of these error messages in the SQL DB Table. I wonder if anyone else has this problem or clues as to what may be the cause of this?

    Indeed, it turns out that our network has been unstable with intermittent packet loss and the routing of the shortcomings... The main culprit seems to have been Channeling of Virtual Port (VPC) behaves poorly or badly configured on a physical switch uplink... VPC, in our case, was created to supplement our vSphere Teaming and failover policy settings.

    Hello. I have a strange problem. I am beginner with VMware products. I installed ESXi on HP proliant 180 gen9 6.0.

    After that, I used converter stand alone to migrate the linux server. Still was very good, everything works. But the next problem emerges after that two or three time - when I try to connect to remote ESXi it telling me "cannot close connection due to a bad username or password." No matter how I connect via Vsphere Client, SSH, or simply click on the link "Browse data in the host inventory warehouses" in the browser. In addition. I can connect with the same login\password using usb keyboard connected to the server.   Password change has no effect. It allows only a reset to default. And then it starts to pitch up and anywhere.  I read somewhere that the problem occurs if the set dns and host name on ESXi, I put not DNS so that only the host name. Another problem not defined RAID controller, but I don't think it is interconnected, maybe I'm wrong? I'd appreciate any ideas and help.


    Hello. Ty for answer. Problem solved. I started to use same keyboard as ESXi server option. After the default US in US int problem has resolved. I don't know why it works with default US for a few days before.

  • Close TCP leaves the connection open

    Hello guys,.

    I use an ethernet connection to query the data of 2 units of acquisition of sensors.

    This request is motivated by a second timed loop period 30.  As this rate is very low, I have the close connection and reopen it each time.

    I try to connect to the device via the same 2 ports each time, 50,000 and 50 001.

    I get the error message that the connection is already used for a close connection of TCP executed without error before.

    The network view TCP tool monitor gives me the screen following [network_connections.png] when I run w/o specifying the local port. It seems that the previous connection are not adequately closed and are always in the TIME_WAIT state. This list is continuouslly prices, leading to errors of networks.     I searched the forum as much as I could and did not find this issue to be considered.

    So, sometimes I listen to music with headphones or even after a Skype call, I leave the connected headphones. If I put the laptop to sleep and wake it back up, unplug the headphones will not return my sound setting to speakers; I can't hear any sound if I plug the headphones in the back.

    I tried to connect and the new: no change. I tried to disable and re-enable "Realtek High Definition Audio" in the Device Manager: no change. Uninstall and reinstall it wouldn't be a good solution if it had to be done all the time. The only thing that it returns to normal is turning works again... typical I.T. solution. Is there a driver update to solve this problem?

    Speaking of driver updates, I guess that I can't find any BIOS update or updates to driver for the ideaPad due to the recall of Sandy Bridge?

    Hello. I'm number one special facfing which I have never seen elsewhere.

    We use the H323 Protocol with mode of ISDN G/W 3241 interal Gatekeeper to call leave SX20 to other SX20.

    You may feel weired because we do not use VCS, but instead of him, we use the internal ISDN G/W Gatekeeper.

    ISDN to IP and IP to ISDN call works well. but on the connected VPN SX20(Building D) has some problem.

    If you want to use the feature GK, you use the gk mode.

    The VPN has very probably some treatment of layer 3 for h323 or some ports are not open.

    Behind the VPN endpoint and the rest of your ip based video systems must have

    direct ip connectivity without NAT and required ports must be open.

    And for h323, it's a whole lot of ports.

    Especially if the public ip and uri dial connectivity is on the future roadmap I would inquire

    using a vcs or cucm setup.

    I'm at a loss for which is why some of my vm do not connect the network correctly and hoping that some users of the forum could point out where I should be looking.

    When I create a new virtual machine from windows xp and connect to the network I get the message "limited connectivity" in the task bar, I can't do a ping from any machine and the virtual machine gets an issued a 169.meta xxx IP address.

    • My virtual machine is configured with a network adapter to connect to the power on

      • The group used vSwitch & port is configured and allow the other vm to access the broader network of the same esx host

      • The vSwitch is set to 56 ports, but I have nowhere near that number of active virtual machines connected

      • If I try to repair the connection it fails to renew my IP address

      • VMware Tools is installed and started

      • DHCP is enabled

      • A new SSID is generated for each new virtual machine

      • The default gateways & DNS are empty, but it's the same setting used by other physical machines that can successfully connect to the network

    Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

    I always suspected your DHCP.  You must obtain access to the DHCP logs or check with someone who got access to see what is happening on the leases.

    When you're wondering why the downloads were sometimes slow, I checked the operatinginstructions wireless driver (which I've updated), then the IP config.  Notice the suffix DNS specific connection set to a provider I use is no longer.
    Does it really matter whether fixed (portable moving)?  And if not, how one change it?

    Problem with google, a lot of people seems to have. Usually involves the connection cache limit. Located on logging - you can see the result above. Connection cache limit. Set it to 1. No help.

    Contact Microsoft technical support. They were absolutely * no need, just make the assumption that the error lies between the keyboard and the Chair.
