  You upgrade form win7 for another "version" of windows 7. Thus, all programs will suffer anyway. More during the upgrade, the installer would say the compatibility of all programs.

  I just read the post about the new EA machines and I was wondering if this is just an update of the BIOS and software or full of different material?  For example, if I buy the new x 200 Tablet with multitouch, now, I'll be able to upgrade later to make it as fast as an improved machine experience?

• Y480 Help! Function of Lenovo and OneKey feature keys

  I am very frustrated. I performed a clean installation of windows 7 64 bit on my y480 after buying a new SSD. Later, I was able to install all the drivers. However, when I try to use the fn key to increase and decrease the volume, I have more see the volume bar animation.

  Even with the following:

  1. on the screen caps lock icon

  2. no feature for onekey theater button

  3 no animation to the button mute.

  I would like that all of these features in turn. I tried searching for Lenovo Energy Management Software, but couldn't find Installer for y570 and 470. Energy management has worked for only the animation volume, then stopped working all together.

  In addition, I tried to install onekey theater, but even if I manually open the icon 'start onekey theater', there is no functionality in any key.

  I can't find software for Lenovo Enhanced experience in the part of the drivers/software from the support site.

  Please help with this. Everything is resolved with this new facility except for this.

• Vista X200Tablet installation CD?

  I am owner of a proud and satisfied with X200Tablet (7449-fxg). I've used it since October 2009 and have had no major problems so far.

  However, although I have Vista preinstalled (unfortunately I missed the upgrade-to-7-free license last winter), I can only find the CD of XP Tablet edition at home. Unfortunately, I have not fiddled the box since I have the laptop, so I don't remember now if it was always there, or it's all my fault.

  Anyway, my question is: what is the difference between a stock of Vista installation CD (or Win7) and provided by Lenovo? It was only the applications, which can be downloaded from the support site, or OEMs are distinguished by some special Lenovo (fine) setting? And if the installation CD is no different, how can I get the Lenovo-pimped ones (whether Vista or 7)?

  If you use pre-installed Vista from lenovo, you already use lenovo-pimped OS; p and you can create a recovery disc for Vista by using this:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/migr-68317.html

  Those that come pre-installed on lenovo PCs or lenovo selling recovery discs are certainly very well tuned, more precisely Lenovo enhanced experience (EE) those for Windows 7. For other OS (Vista and XP), in my experience, they are reasonably optimized, come with the necessary drivers, lenovo software and third-party applications, however some people do not like lenovo and third-party applications, they prefer to do their own installation of stock OEM installed OS.

  In the lenovo software, I don't like rescue and recovery and dial-up connections, other than these I like almost everything in lenovo preload and prefer OEM installed OS drive, however the next person has not necessarily like the things I like.

  I don't think you can get OEM Win 7 from lenovo, because you do not have a license for it, however, you can buy XP downgrade, but that you don't need that you already have XP tablet records:- http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/migr-4m7hwz.html

  Except a few party and lenovo applications fine tuning for Win 7, you can install everything from the support page or using the ThinkVantage software update.

  I recently bought an E420 and I decided to do a custom installation of Windows 7.

  Without thinking much, I decided to erase everything on my hard drive, including the recovery partition.

  At the present time, my custom installed Windows 7 seems extremely slow even with all the drivers.

  I was wondering if installed all drivers of ThinkVantage will not give the same performance as the original Lenovo Windows 7 with an enhanced experience.

  Are there ways for me to get a copy of Lenovo Windows 7 with an improved experience?

  You will get a reasonable experience by downloading everything using the system update and then by installing the RapidBoot package.

  You can get a copy of Windows 7 preloaded calling assistance and buying a set of recovery disks (I assume that you did not have the recovery discs).

  Nobody knows how to play sounds on a x 200 laptop (Windows XP) connected via a USB Lenovo enhanced replicator model k33415. I would like to do so without connection to speakers. When I disconnect the USB duplicator I can play the sound, but not when it is connected.

  I just ordered a y470p and think I can get an SSD and it works as a boot drive. I have a few questions.

  First how do I install the OS on the ssd?

  Second after the installation will there be when even that use the features of recovery to touch with the ssd.

  Thirdly I'd be able to use the faster start-up of Enhanced experience upward with the SSD?

  Also are there any compatibility issues, devrais I don't receive a disc of msata Intel or must perform work?

  I want to install my Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 as new system (I oryginal a dvd of my old laptop) but I want to keep all the great "stuff" Lenovo but: [main reason for this is already included SP1, and on my new advantage, there's Win7 Pro without SP1]

  1. enhanced experience 2.0 will be fully worked, after installation of average diferent system then oryginal a R & R?
  2. is it possible to make my own R & R system with sp1 included disks? (such as installation costs) [my oryginal its has no sp1]
  3. once the editing from a different background system, operates rescue & Recovery works? How partition table shoud look like?
  4. what options should I I 'activate' in the new Win7 system to do my job of Lenovo also good she should is there any special settings to activate all the functions of "power boost"?

  -I get a message about battery update critical solution Center, but clicking it brings me to lenovo.com main page, any suggestions? [no update where found in the power manager"]

  1. EE 2.0 comes with preloaded Windows only, but if you have Win7 ultimate you could ask the ability of microsoft to upgrade "Windows anytime upgrade".

  2. you can use R & R to create the BACKUP disk, system recovery media creates a recovery drive Q. Please (DVD for your case) media note that those who are different.

  usually they take it down when the stock is insufficient, and it would be only conditioned it again if they can group enough inventory for the expected demand, that the last thing manufacturers want is there a shortage of stock or a delay in delivery.   I was reading some tests of diagnosis on the support site. One of the steps he suggests is, "attempt to boot from a floppy boot or the CD-ROM as the Lenovo Enhanced Diagnostics". I have looked around the site of support and am unable to find this Lenovo Enhanced Diagnostics. Can someone help me find it? Thanks in advance for the help.
