  • DeskJet 932C - the power light is on and the cartridge flashing

Hello! I know my DeskJet 932C is 'old', but it seems to be in excellent condition.  First time that I had a problem.  The power light is on and the cartridge is flashing.  When I open the cover, the plateau of the cartridge moves to the far left.  The arrow points to the unfortunate color cartridge.  The missed years ago color cartridge.  I use my printer to print B & W, so I've been printing with the empty cartridge in place for years.

I removed a reinserted the color and B & W cartridges and turn on the power and turns off.  I used the HP print and scan doctor, and it's scan does not have something wrong, I clicked on print a test page, and nothing happens.  The test page is listed as 1 document in the queue.   Status: error - printing.

The printer has been in its current position on my desk for years.  It was not known of any trauma... None does damage... no power failure.  It's clean.  Has been connected to 4 laptops and uninterrupted service.

I prefer not to buy a new color cartridge.

Would appreciate help.  I would like to know what it means and if there is a solution.

    Thank you!

    Focus21

The printer will perform electrical cartridges to light control and a few other times.  If an error printing can be blocked to avoid damaging the printer.  Clean the contacts of the cartridge as shown in the document here can solve the problem, otherwise you will probably need to replace the color cartridge.  The 932 Deskjet will allow printing with an empty cartridge, but for years, the cartridge may fail electrically and needs to be replaced.

  • No green light magic mouse 2

Computer does not respond to the mouse.

No green light when I turn on the mouse.

Mm2 has no green light on this subject. Check if it's loaded. Use a USB mouse you can configure the MM2 to pair up with your computer using BlueTooth preferences. Be sure to slide the power switch on the market - you should see green on the slide.

The keyboard has a very small and hard to spot, On / Off switch on the rear of the keyboard. Don't forget it's on.

Why the green light on my magic keyboard and mouse flashes green when I turn on after replacing batteries (and not connect to the computer; battery tested good tester)?

  • Green flashing light on the Magic Mouse

I thought that a green light flashing on the Magic Mouse 1 (not rechargeable), means that the necessary batteries replaced or recharged.  I put new batteries in, and yet the green light continues to blink.  This is a new mouse, sent to replace their defective Magic Mouse.  The defective mouse works, but I can't get the new one to work.  I can't get support to help me with this. I tried to use the conversation, and they have disconnected while I was writing my question. RRR

    Anthony,

  • I have most of the software UTD and the magic mouse 2.  I continue to have these episodes where Safari zoomed spontaneously and I can't cancel it without hitting the back button of the browser.  Did someone came across this?

On an IMac 27 "OS is El Capitan 10.11.2 Magic Mouse 2, Safari 9.0.2

Seen the episodes while in Safari, it suddenly zoomed in and let even me not to scroll the page.  I have to click on the back button to cancel it. It seems to happen spontaneously, but my hand is still physically on the mouse, just I don't do anything with or to the mouse.  Seems to be developed after I went to the Magic Mouse 2.  Any ideas?

Please, open the mouse in system preferences and uncheck that smart zoom.

  • Last Magic Mouse 2 is not compatible with the Mavericks 10.95 - and that stinks

It is not so much a question as an expression of stunned disappointment.  My old mouse Magic went kablooey, and so I got a new.  Unfortunately when I the paired with my MacPro 2012, running the Mavericks 10.95 (sorry Apple, you have not matched the Mavericks speed and performance with Yosemite and El Capitan) I discovered that features the touch like scrolling and swiping has not worked.

After an hour to read the little booklet that comes with the mouse, zap the PRAM, reset the SMC and usually ask myself? *  I watched the Magic Mouse box and found the answer in 3 grey dots on white type: requires OS 10,11 or higher.  All right.  Mea culpa, caveat emptor, blah blah.  I should have read through the entire page of the Magic Mouse on the Apple Store Web site, but I already have the product so don't figure there were many new take into account.

However, it seems strange to me that a completely necessary peripherals does not work with a BONE from a few years ago.

There are loyal customers (30 years of computer science and I have never used or owned a PC) who use your products as professional (I'm a sales manager of creation) and, for reasons that go beyond taste, prefer your earlier and faster OS.  Apple wants to move the herd along for many understandable reasons.  I do advertising.  I get it.  Offers new features and the "improvements" that Miss on users who refuse to put up-to-date is perfectly logical.  But prevents them from having a functional Apple mouse goes too far.  It will encourage strong armament and it stinks.

In light of Apple's strategy, it seems pretty ironic that the same company that once derided the PC world as thinkers authoritarian group straight out of Orwell is curve at this level to get its users to conform to his version of the future.  What the * happened to "Think Different"?

Good question, I guess, and I can only opine; as you know, we are here just volunteers.

The question is... when a company changes its products.   As I see it, different operating systems have developed over the years at a huge pace, such that cannot not could be foreseen four years ago.   So the Magic Mouse 1 was fine for the moment but did not have the ability to adapt to meet the current needs.     So what does Apple?   It must be a new mouse that will respond to current needs and anticipate the needs for some time in the future.

You can still buy the old MM1, although you might have to go hunting.   And of course, you can take the old one back if it was purchased less than 14 days ago in most countries and 28 days ago in the United Kingdom and most European countries, I believe.

I hope you get over your troubles.

  • the Magic Mouse that came with my iMac to work but it does not recognize HP USB Wireless Mouse

the Magic Mouse that came with my iMac to work. I tried to use the HP USB mouse that I use with my MacBook Pro at home, but it does not recognize. I went into the settings but it only sees the mouse Magic Mouse.  I tried configuring it as a PC mouse.  How to recognize the USB of the computer mouse.  I need a HP bluetooth mouse?  I can't work with this mouse, it has a funny scroll for it. It is too fast or too slow.  Help!

There is no reason why the iMac should not be able to use a USB mouse. With the mouse connected to the computer off the computer tower and turn it back on. Now it doesn't recognize the mouse? If this is not the case, try a SMC reset.

  • the magic mouse disconnects regularly

Since last week my Magic Mouse is losing connection with my iMac (OS X Sierra) pretty regularly--several times each hour, sometimes more often - the connection is only lost for 5-10 seconds, but it's a lot of time when you're trying to work. Anyone else had this problem and had been able to find a solution?

If your Magic Mouse is version 1 (with batteries), it won't be to fully integrate with Sierra.   You can buy Magic Mouse 2 for that.   Because all future operating systems need, you may as well buy now.

  • After the update of Sierra: not to Disable Trackpad with Magic Mouse connected

    Hello

After that I updated to macOS Sierra on my MacBook Pro the Trackpad is not disable mouse connected with Magic.

Feature: MacBook Pro retina 15 inches (end of 2014) on macOS Sierra.

Since the update, I noticed that my stays compatible with my Magic Mouse connected after built-in trackpad window connection.

In system-> accessibility-> mouse and Trackpad preferences, I have not "ignore the built-in trackpad when mouse or trackpad wireless is present". If I switch it off and on again once again, the parameter will be.

However, once I lock the device (user name right-> connection... window) and reconnect, the trackpad works. You must pass the parameter each time.

Is this a bug of Mac OS Sierra (can't find anything) or am I missing something? I am aware that the trackpad is reactivated at the login window, but before it will deactivate after logging in.

I don't use Magic Mouse, but I have USB Wired mouse and I have the same problem since installing Sierra.

I have the box ticked, but I must go and clear the check box and then save.

I have to use a mouse all the time because my trackpad goes haywire and I wasn't able to find a solution for this. It moves its own and open stuff on its own.

  • Magic Mouse works only with the latest el capitan

Why Apple is not the problems with El Capitan (10.11.6) and it's Magic Mouse? The only way is connected to my MacBook Pro is to remove the com.app.bluetooth.plist at the end of each session and even that does not always work. When it is finally connected, the mouse connects and reconnects constantly during the session. The mouse is an Apple product, and Apple does not seem to recognize the problem or give anyone a viable solution.

Determine that the problem is inherent in the software is an act of faith (there is no batches of messages here with the same problem).

Try resetting the SMC and the NVRAM.

  • the magic Mouse loses connection

I have an iMac 21.5 "running 10.11.6. Recently, I added a to an existing stereo system bluetooth connectivity so I could broadcast on the system. By the way since then I lose my connection to the mouse. I get "connection lost" notification even if the mouse is sitting idle without hands even near him. I tried the suggested pieces of paper, battery replacement and any other thing, I found displayed. Nothing works. As I was typing that I got the message several times, and I'm not even using the mouse! I have another computer in another location and plan to try to see if the problem changes switching. I suspected that the additional bluetooth device could be the culprit, but I tried to unplug and had the same results. It is not a problem with another computer running the same operating system, even if a year or two older hardware. The intermittent mouse problem existed before, but I've lived with him because he doesn't seem to be that bad. Now, I have moved and am in an apartment complex and wonder if there is an interference cause me pain. I do not know to replace the mouse by a non Apple device can solve the problem or if I need to use a WIRED one remedy! The keyboard has never given me problems and with the exception of the low battery notification, it has worked perfectly.

    Hello...

    May be corrupted Bluetooth preferences.

Open a Finder window. In the Finder menu bar, click go > go to folder

Type or copy paste the following text:

    / Library/Preferences/com. Apple.Bluetooth.plist

Click OK, and then place the com.apple.Bluetooth.plist file in the trash.

Can it match the Magic Mouse > OS X El Capitan: use an Apple wireless mouse

If this does not help, because you are having problems with the battery, Reset System Management Controller (SMC)

  • Persistent problems with the Magic Mouse

I have persistent problems with my Magic Mouse. He often stops followed (i.e. the cursor on the screen does not move when I move the mouse), or the input button on malfunctions (i.e. I don't click and drag, or cannot right click, or when I click on something and that you hold the button down it doesn't "stick").

I called Apple and they took me through all the troubleshooting steps (reset the SMC, PRAM, etc.) and I finally get a new mouse. I got a new and have exactly the same problems!

The ONLY thing that solved the problem by restarting the computer, or logging in and out. But the problem then begins again after anywhere from a few minutes to a few days (the most often within hours).

    Any ideas?

Here is more information in case it is useful:

    • I plugged a wired Logitech mouse, and to my surprise, it also does not work. I thought that the problem was related to the wireless/Bluetooth connection, but this clearly isn't.
    • I have a Wacom tablet attached to my computer, and it works very well, no matter if it has connected (via USB dongle) wireless or wired (via USB).

There seems to be something wrong with any particular software/system control the mouse.
