• March 100th time question

  I'm trying to find a way to set the time in our unit of 100th of March. I want to set the time manually and find a way so he can look for a NTP server to stay accurate. I see nothing in the admin GUI interface or maint to set the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  This is not an intuitive process so don't worry.

  Try the following:

  To set time zone using a console connection and then enter the command 'set of time zone' to specify the time zone in which the device is running.

  This isn't a stupid stupid question!  When you go to the calendar application, then click on the menu and NEW, (make sure you are on the desired date) skip to BEGINNING that will show your day and the date and time (which is in hours). You can scroll through the minutes and change the time.

  We have a VCenter with ESXi host Version 5.1, our domain controller is sitting in one of the ESXi host and host NTP settings is pointing to the domain controller that is sitting on the same host.

  all other ESXi hosts are also facing this DC as NTP server. All hosts are in the same cluster and our mail servers are also in the same cluster, and they are windows and linux.

  Now face us a question about our electronic messages that are evidence of time and incorrect data! What could be the reasons for this problem? and what is the best practices of NTP in ESXi environment scenario?

  Our domain controller is sitting in one of the ESXi host and host NTP settings is pointing to the domain controller that is sitting on the same host.

  With the domain controller in a virtual machine, the recommended method to synchronize the time is the point at once - the DC as well as ESXi hosts - to an external time server. Synchronization of the guests with the virtual domain controller could cause problems and should be avoided.

  There is something fishy in your message.

  MM is the mask of the month format. You have specified twice, once for the month and once per minute (MI is the format for the minute mask). It is a fairly common mistake. But then in your output, you're claiming that MM returns a 3 for the month and a 2 for the minute. It is not possible (except something really exceptionally buggy in progress). I strongly suspect that what you have posted here is not an exact copy of what you are currently running or to actually see.

• Linksys WRT1900 AC question

  First of all, I tried to download the latest firmware. He screwed up the router where it wouldn't even properly initialize due to this new firmware on the linksys site.  I was finally able to return to the original firmware. Is there a way to put the latest firmware on this router without spoiling him.

  My router is in the next room in a small apartment and sometimes I'll have abandoned signals where I can't even play videos on 2.5 ghz. and 5 GHz slower speed on the computer. Is that what I can do to speed up this router.  The cable modem is speed is 50 when I get only 20 and it sometimes looks like the connection drops. I looked online, and someone suggested to change channels. I don't know what I should change the channels on the up and down buttons.

  If all your devices are capable of 5 GHz and the range is pretty good by any means clear the 2.4. I want to start using the auto for the 5 GHz range and 20 only for the 2.4 if leave you it enabled. The 2.4 band is usually so crowded, that it does not much above 20 in any case. For the channels you can get an app that will show you what is already used. WiFi Analyzer on a smartphone works well for that purpose. try to stay on 1, 6 or 11 If you use the 2.4 and a channel not used on the 5 GHz range.

• Wireless router to modem Homeportal 1800 HG 2wire Linksys WRT54G with questions

  I have the Linksys WRT54G, and I'm trying to use it as the router to my modem 2wire Homeportal 1800 HG wireless.  The 2wire has four ethernet Sockets in the back marked from 1 to 4 and a telephone jack to connect to the wall for AT & T DSL service.

  I have the phone jack connected, and:

  -an ethernet cable

  -to one of the sockets at the back of the 2wire ethernet

  -to the 'Internet' on the Linksys ethernet jack

  - and an ethernet cable

  -to one of the ethernet (1-4) at the back of the linksys

  -to the ethernet port on the computer

  The Linksys is unable to connect via the modem and reports that it may not get an IP address from the PPPoE server.  (Directly connect to the 2wire works well though.)

  Who am I wrong configuration?

  There is no side effect of bridge mode... It is one of the mode in which the modem function. When the modem is in bridge mode, you cannot go online with the computer connected directly to the modem... and you will get a 169.254.x.x ip address.

  So after you convert the modem into bridge mode, you must do the PPPoE settings on the router to go online via router.

  Yes, the timers have another property of late. You could do this:

  I'm trying to lead to hours and minutes. In this example, I have 102 minutes that I would turn into hours and minutes. If I take 102 divided by 60 I get 1.7, but then I need a way of prendre.7 multiplied by 60 to come with the minutes. I can't understand this.

• EA6100 router even if you are wondering if I have a problem of wire partially

  I'll explain what happened first.  Fly, we had a storm that hit power off for a while and internet any longer.  Today I had to reset my EA6100 router settings to finally get to the top.  Now I'm having issues the "Media Prioritzation" works correctly.

  I'm not sure if the extension, which is a Linksys E1000, needs to be connected to the router or not.  I noticed when I reset everything that the internet is plugged directly into the router and that plugged into the modem, a surfboard SB6141.  He is currently working, but this could be why in the past our speed was slow.

  The firmware is updated for the Linksys EA6100 router.  I tried the "Media Prioritzation' on 2 computers, Iosing is a Windows using Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome broswers 10.  A plugged into the router & modem and other wireless with the same results.  There or the 2118 & 2112 errorrs or the setting comes with nothing if it opens at all.

  Suggestions please.

  Hi, Martino72_5. Let us ensure that your devices are correctly connected. The SB6141 of the surfboard is your modem. This should be plugged into the internet port of your Linksys EA6100 and other devices like office, wired game console must be connected to one of the ethernet ports.

  Regarding the Extender, you use a Linksys E1000 or Linksys RE1000? If the latter, then it should link automatically to the network if the router's wireless settings are identical. However, if the settings have been changed, then you must reset and reconfigure the range extender.
